Numbers from Amway UK case
By Truth in Amway
I got word that the Amway UK case has wrapped up and apparently a decision is expected in the next weeks. While looking up some information I ran across an article that posted some figures that came out during the case. I don't think the numbers show anything surprising. Basically the same old "a few got the most" that we have come to expect with Amway/Quixtar. Even the supporters agree with those kinds of numbers, but of course take the liberty and time to spin it so it doesn't sound so bad. At any rate here are the numbers and here is a link to the article, I leave you to decide for yourselves.
39,000
agents working for Amway
27,000
(71%) had no income
11,410
(30%) earned something
7,492
(of the 11,410) received average of £13.53 per year
101
agents received 75 per cent of bonuses
£116K
paid to top earner Trevor Lowe
26
number of years Mr Lowe was an agent

that wasn't so painful was it? I mean for Amway to give up the information.
Now, all they have to do is the same thing for USA.
The top UK kingpin made only £116k (US$240k) per year??!!! I take it that is Amway income only, not including income from the tools...
Either way by your opinion, Amway will grow and so will Quixtar. Yet, you will keep on barking which is nice of you.
...You work for it, you get it, you deserve it. You don't work fo it, you don't get it, you moan and groan about how it's a scam. The only spin is the one you create for yourself. Meh. This has been true for thousands of years... except now you can get a lawyer to moan and groan for you.
Hey Truth,
I had placed a comment on here but it never got published. Was there a technical error in the process? Did the html that I sent in, was it not allowed? I tried to keep it on topic as much as possible. Is there a better post that I can place the comment in?
Chaos,
It is possible that it got missed. My apologies since I have to approve or junk every single comment I would not put it past me to mistake one from time to time.
"I take it that is Amway income only, not including income from the tools..."
I heard the "tool system" restrictions in UK are much stricter than in US; even somewhat close to what R. DeVos called a "reasonable" support system.
I don't believe that king-pin made much more than $300K (USD) with tool profits included. Too bad the States still have so many Quixtar crooks prancing on stage, earning the vast majority of their profits from hyping tools.
101 out of 11,410, or a whopping 0.8% of the distibutors who earned anything (and 0.2% of all registered IBOs in the UK) earned remotely substantial income, and the remaining 11,309 split the crumbs.
But it's no pyramid, no sirree bob.
It's more uhmm...uhmmm...isoscelese triangular.
