Quixtar - Land of Ill Will
By QBlog in Humor
Hilarious spoof of the Quixtar commercials.
UPDATE: And here's the original spoof that YouTube yanked.
Comments
that qblog brought tears to my eyes. i needed that belly laugh in the worst way
Go to Scott Laresn's site and listen to the analogy of making decisions...
http://www.amquix.info/quixtar_making_decisions.html
if you hear something often enough... you begin to believe it ... believe anything.
Ahahahahahahahaha..ohgod...aha...hah.
That was pretty good. I loved the "triple super dragon master diamond" or whatever it was. Priceless.
O_O, that actually looked nice. did it say pimp in the end??
Priceless!!! And, yes, it did say "pimp" at the end. Hahahahaha! Also, if you click on the video and follow it back to YouTube, there is already a comment war going on there...
Do you believe this? Then why don't you type USA / Bill Gates / Microsoft/ Wal Mart to find out about those and believe it? If it's a right source of info get your medical advice on ot. If you know successful people don't do this. They study everything from the authentic source. Always keep in mind that it's your & your family's life. Think intelligently.
My computer gave me a message that the clip had a virus so I didn't open the file.
Viral advertising with a real virus thrown in? ;-)
It is apparent that you FAILED at your chance to win freedom and now you have to belittle others who have a dream big enough to actually WORK for! Since you failed at acomplishing your goals, you have to blame someone else for your failure. Can we say PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! Winners will win regardless of their situation and losers blame everyone else for their failure.
Quack quack quack... go back to your little cult meetings and drink more XS! Why are you hanging around the bathroom walls anyway?
Sarah,
How come the diamonds don't take personal responsibilty for IBOs who follow the system and don't go diamond or platinum?
Is "personal responsibility" the new buzzword for one of the LOS? That's cropping up everywhere.
I've seen that phrase so much lately, and also the "winners will win despite the situation." It's really obviously a way of spinning that the system abuses are known, but if you left (ie. failed) it was still your fault because a) you didn't research with due diligence (your "personal responsibility") and b) even with the documented abuses, a real winner could still prevail, no matter what!
I find it interesting that so many people are parroting this statements, which are really admissions to the most common criticisms.
You really can sell some people anything. That is amazing. Whatever LOS is responsible has a wonderful marketing mind working for them. Incredible.
"Winners will win regardless of their situation and losers blame everyone else for their failure."

Joecool > And who says you can only win by participating in quixtar? Many people left quixtar and found better, more efficient and more lucrative options besides quixtar.
Contrast the negative attitude of the little piece of amateur hatchet work promoted by Eric and other Quixtar critics to Nutrilite - Perfect Balance, which recently won an award for making a positive contribution to society.
I suspect "making a positive contribution to society" is an utterly foreign concept to some of the folk who spend their time here.
European Amway Dude (aka Insider),
Your sense of humor called and was wondering where you've been the last few years. It misses you terribly and would appreciate at least an email from time to time.
I visited my sense of humour while in the transit lounge and laughed at that comment :-)
-_- lighten up a little. Im an IBO and doing great at it, i still found that video to be funny/odd =p. Anyone who looks into this video and makes a decision based on just one source doesnt deserve to be an IBO in the first place..jeez. Sometimes you can see whos succeeding in quixtar and who isnt cuz some are desperate and it really shows that your trying to get people in...making it looking a stupid scam (thus proving the point people can either make this look like a scam or a business)
For the prices they charge, nutrilite sucks. I remember they had these oatmeal cookies which were good, but $10 for 3 cookies was excessive.
Sarah,
Are you on the Winters team? Sounds like the stuff they would say.
What LOS are you in?
David
But Joe! $10 for 3 cookies is an investment into your future! :-)
Besides, if only half of your downline duplicated you and bought those cookies, and only half of their downline duplicated them and bought those cookies, and so on, you would've been (drumroll, please) a COOKIE DIAMOND by now!!! Yeah, right...
Nutrilite sucks, yet its the best selling. How does that work? Not sure if it was insider or someone else..but someone had a link about the Nutrilite Difference..
I ate some cookies that cost $3+tax each that was from the business..and it wasnt healthy..yet im not complaining about it..
Sometimes i eat donuts, and i prefer krispy creams than Tim Hortons donuts..even though its much more expensive
KK: $9+ for 12
TH: $5.50 for 12
This blog is fading! Absolutely terrible. Post something with merit please!
Any news on how Orrin Woodward's organization is doing. I've heard it's doubled in numbers in the past four months. Is this because of other groups have joined his team? Also, apparently the annual revenues for Quixtar have doubled this year from last year? If this business is so bad, how can it be doing so well?
Quixtar sales doubled in one year? Yah, right, and I'm a billionaire. That is the best Quixtar myth I've heard all year! That is good as Quixtar will do $100 billion in 5 years!
Drink that kool-aid!
insider, you the pimp! LOL
well most of the people on here are the type of people who are too busy knocking an oppurtunity knocking to get them free but they rather just criticise everything and just live lives of quiet desperation and just bearly get through life and heres a great book for you 95% to read its by paul zane pilzer its called the next millionaires its a great book everyone should read it. and i happend to be apart of orrin woodwards team and im 20 now and im job optional because i started when i was 18 and did not listen to this criticism and went out and seen if it really worked or not and it did hows about that but some people just rather knock an oppurtunity knocking then to look at it and give it a shot but its not for everyone and thats alright im gona need some employees one day soo good luck to all and make shure you read that book i told you about and one more you may wana read is by robert kyosaki the cash flow quad both really great books highly recomend reading both of them.
Justin -- How about reading _The Elements of Style_ which addresses, among other things, an amazing gramatical device known as the sentence.
Here is a hint for Justin: Punctuation. Learn it, love it, use it!
I'd also suggest finding the return button on your keyboard. Paragraphs are nice touches, even when you are rambling.
What does "job optional" mean?
My whole point exactly all's you people do is point out the bad in everything and criticise people. Here's my advice to you people get a life instead of running ur mouths about everyone and everything your the type who get's knowhere in life=]
Teen Mentality says Janet and dmm is right and they have good points.
Adult/Business Mentality says, both of them are stupid that out of that paragraph, all they could come up with is to flame away the lack of grammar....
True, his grammar does suck..but its still readable
loser mentality=almost every person in this room you guys will all NEVER SUCEED IN LIF=]
Good communication is necessary in any business endeavor. Maybe you could understand the comments, but I certainly could not. Perhaps some real bits of wisdom and financial advice were hidden inside, but all it told me was the Justin was very ignorant. Why woud I take any business advice from someone who cares so little about how they express themselves or is so uneducated that they don't know any better?
I will remember that I will have to spell such things out for you in the future, Christian. For most adults it would have been understood by a quick jab at the poster's grammar.
Justin, "personal responsibility" means taking responsibility for your own education. Even if the school system failed you miserably, there are many ways to learn and many opportunities for adult literacy education.
Even if you don't need basic language skills as an IBO, you certainly will if you plan to be active, and taken seriously, in the business community. If nothing else, it will give you credibility instead of making you look like a high school dropout who fell for something. Not a good imagine to present when trying to recruit people, especially outside of the 18-19 demographic!
If you can't win against your own ignorance, you'll never succeed at anything!
Justin,
Keep drinking that XS. And maybe one day you can FLUSH YOUR STINKING JOB!
GO DIAMOND UUUURRRRAAAAHHH!
If everyone on here is a loser then why are you here?
David in Maryland
Justin, are you also a psychic and an IBO? Because you seem to know a lot about me from one reply post on a blog.
I have a life, thank you very much. I've been happily married for nearly ten years, and have a beautiful daughter. I outright own 2 newer cars, and live in a decent sized house in a good neighborhood. And I have a job. So what? I enjoy it, am making a difference in the world, and I'm getting paid. Life's not so bad for this non-IBO!
What about you, Justin. Tax time is nearly upon us, and assuming you live in the USA, what will your Schedule C say about your 2006 profits and losses? If you are "job optional," as you say, how much money did you make this past year, and how much were your expenses?
@Justin
Now your just being stupid and ignorant like they are. Are you new to the business or what?
@Janet
Theres a ton of educated people who arent financially independent. The opposite is also true, as there are a ton of people who arent educated as the above yet are wealthy...Think about that then reread what you told me
Also, you did do a quick jab at the grammar. Out of everything he said, the only thing you can point out..is the lack of punctuation? Im pretty sure some other people here can find something to critizise on what he wrote other than his grammar...
Anyways, getting off topic. I dont want to start argueing because your a grammar nazi =p
Actually, Christian, you have it wrong. Teen mentality, grammar doesn't matter (LOL/ROFLMAO/BRB and all other shortcuts I don't understand). But, by business mentality, how and what we write are just as important as what we say, and how we look.
Are we more apt to believe a person wearing tattered clothes and speaking slang, or a person wearing a suit, speaking eloquently? Same thing when writing. Are we to trust a person who doesn't use punctuation and comes off undeducated, or someone who knows the MLS (Modern Language Society) Handbook backwards and forwards?
The business teaches, rightfully so I might add, that appearances matter. Your written communication is a big part of appearances, especially in today's business world. As someone who often communicates to customers as part of my job, every email, letter, and other correspondance I send at least goes through spell check, and most go through our in-house copywriter to make sure there are no errors, and that I sound professional.
Oops! The baby hit a key and my post disappeared!
The general gist was that I work with business owners of all sorts. By their communication and presentation, I can tell who is (or will be) real players and who will be closed in a year.
A formal education doesn't make you educated -- onlyyou an do that. By presenting himself and his business as nothing more than chidish scribblings, justin shows that he has no pride in either.
I can't comment on the content of his posts because they are honestly unintelligible. I wouldn't do business of any sort with him because I would be afraid that I would never get paid. He doesn't care enough about himself to act like a professional, why would he care enough about his business to fulfill a contract?
Christian, you should particularly be considered when IBOs come in posting with the literacy level of a second grader. It makes the business look like it can only cater to the dimwitted or uneducated. I know that's not true.
Image means a lot in the business world, mainly because it does show how seriously you take your company.
I doubt there are many self-made wealthy people who aren't educated. Sure, there are those that haven't gone to college or even graduated high school, but how many of them kept themselves ignorant?
Andrew Carnegie is a wonderful example of someone who pulled himself up by his own bootstraps. He provided himself a wonderful education. Senator Byrd did the same. He was a butcher at a small grocery store, but was determined to make himself the best butcher he could be. He studied and eventually did complete a formal education.
Only you can take personal responsibility for how you and your business look to others, and for your own education. If justin refuses present himself as anything but ignorant, that is how he will always be seen. Very few people will bother to scrape through the junk to get the meat of his message. That's his choice, and his responsibility.
And then I give a post full of typos! Please forgive as I was typing with one hand and had a baby on the breast. :)
Christian good point! and i appologize for what i said but as far as my business goes im gona finish what i started! good luck to all of you in whatever you decide to pursue in life.
drag84, several smaller groups did in fact join orrin woodward recently to answer your question. that could be why they are doing better.
In fact i'm sorry guys im pretty stupid myself to say the least. I'm judging someone of which I have never met because im un-educated my self perhaps. Sorry justin I guess you can call me a hypacrit. And I also have low self esteem because I got pregnant by a guy of which i did not know and that's my stupid side coming out again. And for you dmm your just talkin trash to try and get a reaction out of him because you also have lo self esteem and are inmature.
I know Janet didn't write that last post. Janet knows how to spell and capitalizes "I."
"Janet" or whoever you are, please don't come here and start smearing people's characters.
...that was odd reading that...
Well, fine. Good point from Janet. Your appearance and writing style does reflect a lot, but it shoudnt be the ending decision. if you ever met one of my uplines making 10k/mo, hes usually wearing shorts, tshirt and a hat. I doubt thats the appearance you would think of a wealthy person.
also, please keep to your own name...whoever the last Janet was...cuz i wasnt really expecting an apology... -_-
Well, I have to say that I laughed. It was funny. No need to get all up in arms about it people. OH AND STAY ON THE TOPIC!!! You grammar psychos!! HAHA
Anyway, you can't laugh at yourself or your business...you are in the wrong business!!
I love the opportunity through Q*. It has been great for me. It is not for everyone, which is cool too. No need to belittle anyone whether they are in or out, or had a bad situation. Just roll with punches, get back up, try something else. Bottom line is, do what makes you happy. Even if it is coming on here and throwing a tyraid, or temper-tandrum, or just to vent.
I have to say the over that year or two, the conversations have changed to more meaningful blogs or "realistic" experiences. I use the creditable blogs to help my business whether they are good or bad.
Thanks guys and gals for that.
Sass
Thanks, Rara! You are obviously correct, that "Janet" wasn't me. Although, the likeness was uncanny.
Well, by "uncanny" I mean okay. Well, by "okay" I mean existent. Well, by "existent" I mean...
That's funny...you must have failed in your business? lol have fun at work tomorrow!
I can tell non of you have a life if someone failed in doing somthing it's ok to go to the next thing, or better go hang out at the corner with your friends and on the 20th of this month a Evander childs HS graduate becomes a Platinum. No way can this be a scam cz that person is meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Oh that is not much babes that's only :$3000.00 and i don't make that at my job. LOVE YA ALL AND HAVE FUN BEING BROK for the rest of your lifes.......
The orginal verion by "Where's my Jetpack?" can be seen here.
YouTube shut down the orginal version because they were contacted by Alticor, but Google is less likely to cave in this type of situation.
