I hope the driver can see out of his/her rear windshield.

I just put a stopdevos.com bumper sticker on my car myself. :) (Have you seen that site?) I sincerely believe that a constant campaign to simply remind people of DeVos' Amway past is the best way of defeating him.

Dick Devos loves him some pseudo-science.

But what I'm worried about is why a "TEAM IBO" is driving a mere minivan. Shouldn't he or she be driving a Porsche with all that IBO cheddar?

I'm just curious....his Amway past aside...what do you critbots hate so much about DeVos' political goals & aspirations?

Do you have a political platform to support you're "hatred" of DeVos? Or, is it just an immature response to the fact that he founded a legitimate organization that incorporates the "little guy" into it's success. And by the way, this legitimate organization has turned into a multi-million (or billion???) dollar enterprise.

Just simply clarify your stance please...

Thanks.

Why do you think his Amway past wouldn't be enough?

PW

My apologies. Go to the site the minivan tells you to go to.
It's worth a visit.
OBEY the minivan.

He also ran the same company that allowed system abuses by the AMOs and has done practically nothing to stop them. If I were a Michigan resident, I don't think I'd like a governor who let the interest (read: money) of a few individuals (like AMO leaders for instance) influence ones decisions.

Well, he's dropping in the polls; and may pay dearly for "dissing" the Vice President who was in Grand Rapids. DeVos was "elsewhere" - and it's the talk of the town. The implication being that he committed "Republican Suicide".

Deb

Do you have a political platform to support you're "support" of DeVos? Or, is it just an ill thought out response to the fact that he founded a cult for profit that incorporates taking advantage of the "little guy" into it's success. And by the way, this illegal crime syndicate has turned into a multi-million (or billion???) dollar enterprise.

So yeah do ya?

"I'm just curious....his Amway past aside...what do you critbots hate so much about DeVos' political goals & aspirations?"

I don't consider him to have any REAL business experience, nor do I think he has any real political experience.

Other than that, he's fine. LOL.

I can't believe I have to endure 4 more years of Jenny From the Block, but it beats the alternative. I can't believe the Repubs can't find a better option

Can you prove that DeVos' corporation is an illegal business? That's a pretty big statement. Do you have some proof?

Illegal business? What are you talking about? Are you at Doug DeVos's level where you can enjoy having time and money? Do you have 7 days a week where you can chose to do what you want? Can you teach me how to have what I want in live? Can you? If not, sorry!

Hey quest, you stated - "Can you teach me how to have what I want in live? Can you? If not, sorry!"

Yeah I could if you wanna give me, say $60 a month for books, tapes and tools. $50 for seminars and $500 for rallies. I can be your motivational speaker. Anybody could tell you how to be successful while lining their own pockets with your $$$$$.

99.9% of IBO's NEVER make it to "diamond" 99.6% don't even make platinum. Keep wasting your $$$$ on motivational garbage.

"Do you have 7 days a week where you can chose to do what you want?" This statement cracked me up. A lot of people actually have 7 days a week to chose to do what they want. And they didn't scam people out of money to get there.

"Do you have 7 days a week where you can chose to do what you want?" Good, so show me how to have a combination of 7 days and lots of money! Maybe you have a 9 to 5 job but that is not what I am looking for. Are you a multimillionaire with 24 hours on your hands? Don't just give evasive answers as other people do here.

Hey Quest,

Are you a multi-millionaire?

Do you think that you will become one from Q*?

So he has a 9-5 all the big pins did was change from day JOBs to night JOBs

Quest, don't believe the hype. David is right big pind just changed their hours.
Am I a millionaire? No, but that's me. Do I work a 9 to 5? You could say that, but, I own my own company so it's a bit different.
The other thing is, quest, I'm not forced to buy a bunch of things I wouldn't normally use, nor do I have to buy a certain amount of "volume" every month to get paid.

I'm sure you're going diamond, I mean you've got a .0076% chance. 1 in 14,000 are great odds. Sorry, I'll take my "9 to 5" and be assured I'm getting paid EVERY week and proftiting EVERY month, rather than living in some "dream" world, while frivolousy blowing my money on overpriced products and motivational "tools"

Dog,
You wouldn't be qualified to train a monkey even if someone paid say $60 a month for books, tapes and tools, $50 for seminars and $500 for rallies. You don't even understand the BASICS of this business! You don't have the EXPERIENCE. You weren't even WILLING to TRY! I'd say that doesn't even qualify you to comment on this site.

Again Dog AND David, watch what you say. Make sure it's truthful. Our upline Diamond worked (if you can call it work) 15 days at only 2-3 hours a day within the past 3 months. I know that for a FACT. The other part of his FREE time was spent up north at his new cabin with his wife & children. They had visitors (friends) up visiting them often as well. He fishes & hunts on a regular basis. I'd say that's better than a 9-5'er or owning your own traditional business.

Also Big Dog, as you already are VERY well aware....no one is FORCED to do anything! You simply purchase shampoo, toothpaste, vitamins from your own store vs. the competitor. Pretty simple stuff. If you're losing money at it....then you're DOING IT WRONG! There is no minimum quota either.

One last thing....if you really believe that a 9-5 job (or any hourly job) or a traditional franchise ownership position is more secure....you're fooling yourself. You might want to start watching the news a bit more. Watch CNBC, MSNBC or any of those news programs. It's all the media in the past few years! Wake up!

It's so clear that you are very bitter. I'm sorry for that. I really & truly am because I hate to see someone getting so stressed & worked up over something that's in their past & no longer in their control.

Get over it. You are one of the 99.99% that CHOOSE not to succeed at this phenomenal opportunity. Let it be, Dog.

Hey Anon,

Hey thats awesome that your Diamond has all that time. The Diamonds I was referring too were the Winters Diamonds
OK during the day they might go boating, golfing, dirt bike riding, but then just before evening they put on there suits and make appearences up and down the east coast to keep building belief. So thats why I said they traded there day JOBs for night JOBs. Have you ever been to a Diamond Open or Attitude session. They are at night and last until 2 3 4am and if you dont stay then you are not getting all the info. Been there done that. Moved on.

David,
It's Friday night & I'm respoonding to comments like yours. I guess we are two people who have no life, eh? ha! ha! ha! ;-)

I don't know what the Winters team does. I guess they're the ones still stuck in the 70's.

Here's an update for you: we are part of WWDB in MN. Regionals have been cut down from a Friday night & Saturday ALL DAY/EVENING to just Saturday from 2pm to about 10pm. So, THAT's an improvement.

We don't really have as many Opens anymore. They have been more encouraging of us to go out and do a webtour (can be done OVER THE PHONE IN ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES, by the way) or a follow up, or sell some retail.

I don't know what you, or anyone else is talking about when you talk about "night owls" or the meeting after the meeting after the meeting. From what I understand, that's a thing of the past. When we do have an Open, it's from 8-9pm. Seriously! They're done in ONE HOUR! If an IBO takes it to 2 or 3 or 4am.....I'd say that's a PERSONAL CHOICE! NOT system recommended.

So, all the drive time & hours spent at meetings that you guys go on and on and on about....well.....it just does not exist anymore.

The above information is based on my experience in WWDB & the Quixtar business since Summer 2002.

"One last thing....if you really believe that a 9-5 job (or any hourly job) or a traditional franchise ownership position is more secure....you're fooling yourself."

Hi Anon,
you want to debate traditional franchise vs. your so-called business with me?

http://www.webraw.com/quixtar/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2516&start=47

Anon,

I am not debating anything with you. I am telling you thats what is going on.
Now since you are in the almighty WWDB I guess your upline Diamonds are Bill and Sandy Hawkins? Catch that powerwave Anon. BWW LTD WWDB whatever they want to call there cult. Good luck and I trully do hope you have success.

"So, all the drive time & hours spent at meetings that you guys go on and on and on about....well.....it just does not exist anymore." -- Anon

If you are talking about your own LOS, then that's different. If that is a blanket statement about all MOs, that's a lie. There was a BWW meeting at San Jose Convention Center, SJ, California during the weekend of September 16,17th. A relative couple of mine drove from Seattle, WA to attend. On saturday night they came back from the meeting well past midnight.

guy,
what's your point? I am only speaking from my experience & what I know to be fact. Yes, I'm in WWDB and their goal is to teach us to make money. And you can't do much of that, if you're stuck in meetings ALL THE TIME with other IBO's.

so what if they were up past midnight? Why in the world are you monitoring how they spend their time? why do you care???

There are four meetings a year that go past 11pm or midnight. So what?!? Stay if you want, leave if you want.

I think you missed the whole point.

Hey, Anon

I'm sick of your belittling comments towards me and other posters on this site.

You said - "You don't even understand the BASICS of this business! You don't have the EXPERIENCE. You weren't even WILLING to TRY! I'd say that doesn't even qualify you to comment on this site."

Yeah, even though I've owned my own business for the last 6 years and have PROFITTED EVERY YEAR I don't understand the "BASICS" of business because I don't have the "experience".
You crack me up. You say I'm bitter, yet you're the one insulting people because they don't agree with you. Sounds like you're the bitter one to me.

You also said- "Also Big Dog, as you already are VERY well aware....no one is FORCED to do anything! You simply purchase shampoo, toothpaste, vitamins from your own store vs. the competitor. Pretty simple stuff. If you're losing money at it....then you're DOING IT WRONG! There is no minimum quota either"

You're not "forced to do anything, you simply purchase shampoo toothpaste, vitamins from your own store"

First of all it ISN'T your own store, again that's just a way of you IBO's sugracoating Quixtar. Secondly if you're not forced to do anything why do you have to purchase all that stuff from yourself? Seems to me you should be able to make money without purchasing ANYTHING from yourself. I make money every day and NEVER purchase ANYTHING from myself.

"If you're losing money at it....then you're DOING IT WRONG! There is no minimum quota either"

Yeah I'm doing it wrong just like 13,998 other people obviously. No minimum quota? LOL. Do you hear yourself? What's the point 100PV per month if there's no quota?

"Watch CNBC, MSNBC or any of those news programs. It's all the media in the past few years! Wake up!"

Yeah that MUST mean it's "TRUE" I mean you saw it on TV and everyone knows EVERYTHING on TV is true, just like EVERYTHING the diamonds say is true.
Thanks for the laugh, again.
You contradict yourself at every angle and don't even have the common sense to see you're doing it.

I don't understand this common IBO logic: 9-5 jobs are no longer secure so that AUTOMATICALLY makes Quixtar the only option, and a certain, secure option at that.

Can any IBO tell me why this statement doesn't make sense?

I suspect that no matter how insecure 9-5 jobs get, Quixtar will always be less stable or doable than them.

Hey guys try to keep this debate on topic.

For example check out www.republicansforgranholm.com

Now thats an sticker to put on the back of your car.

you can take the Devos bumper stickers off your cars now. Granholm is owning him in the debate. Devos looks like a lost deer in the headlights.

It humors me that completely uninformed people have some strong positive AND negative opinions about QUIXTAR as an organization. They base their opinions on what they "think" or have "researched" online (forming opinions on someone else's opinion.)

Whether they support any business or not, they need to understand the structure of the company and how it works, not just a compensation plan. People get all worked up about some business "ripping them off" and post the blame on whatever is convenient (being the Quixtar organization). The point I want to make is simple...

When ANYONE speaks negatively about the ineffectiveness of Quixtar, they sound silly. If someone has lost money, hasn't made money, or has been ripped off, it is by the ORGANIZATION AFFILIATED with Quixtar and how THEY utilize/build within the performance bonus plan. Unfortunately, shady people can easily get an IBO number and create a "business" that uses Quixtar as a base and then they claim to "Be" Quixtar... Why would they do that? Because Quixtar is a multi-billion dollar, debt-free, privately owned company that is virtually exploding regardless of uneducated criticism. Who WOULDN'T want to claim to "Be" that???

So in point... Just stop ripping on Quixtar when in fact the affiliated business (anyone familiar with subcontracting) is at fault. It sounds stupid when you complain about Gordon Foods/Sysco Foods when you were served an overcooked steak at Applebee's.

John,

What makes you think people who criticize the business don't know about it? Many critics have many years of experience in the business and I'd venture to say many critics know the business better than you.

Just because your upline said something doesn't make it true.
