In Their Own Words - 7
By Xanadustc in Their Own Words
In this installment, we learn that Danny Snipes thinks BWW is the best:
Of course we got the Britt Team, and the Britt System…the BWW system…the best educational system there is! Stack it up against anything out there…any other training system for business owners, any college education, this produces more people succeeding in life than any other system there is out there. Period! Bar-none…the best!

First, let us say that almost every system claims that they are the best. Are they lying, lunatics, or over-excited (or any other option I forgot)?
Regarding college education, I think that if you are speaking in terms of whole-population financial success rates, I would argue that the average income of a college graduate hovers around the $30-50,000 range (for a reference, simply Google ‘Average Income College Graduate’ and you will get a host of news articles and reports). The average Quixtar income is around $1380 directly from Quixtar (note that some will argue that average has dropped, I pulled $115 a month from the SA-4400 on the main Quixtar page).
If so many are succeeding, why do only 1 in 14,000 make it to the coveted Diamond level? Why do only 1 in 400 make it to the average income of $42,000?
My final point, since Danny has left BWW to join LTD, which does he say is the best now?

Now, now...
Danny CLEARLY says 'succeeding in life.’ And there you go – all about the money again. You’ve heard it a thousand times that IBOs are glad they joined because it has made them a stronger person, increased their personal growth , heck – even strengthened their marriages! It’s at that point that IBOs realize that being in Quixtar isn’t about making money – it is SO MUCH MORE! Cause, well, they aren’t making money. Typical crit-bot nonsense: “How can you defend, and sell, a business that you don’t make money from? Isn’t the ‘Freedom’ that’s pitched the freedom from financial worries?” How short-sighted! Who’s got time to worry about financial freedom when you’re growing all over the place? It’s very Zen – being rich without being rich. Oh – I shouldn’t have sprung that out there so swiftly…might confuse some people. Sorry about that. I just jacked-up several proven training systems by jumping to the last chapter. Forget I wrote it.
The tape is even called “People of Strength, Team of Strength.” Not a single thing about money! Typical business classes – especially university ones – don’t give you quality information and education like that!
Regardless, I’m pretty sure Danny’s definition of ‘succeeding’ is listening to lots more Danny – no matter where he is.
Porkchopjim do you actually think for yourself?
Yes Ron, and he teaches others to do the same too.
;)
"Are they lying, lunatics, or over-excited (or any other option I forgot)?"
Another option might be "Saying it just because their upline said it."
PW
I guess Danny Snipes missed recent news that the average salary of an MBA holder is above $92,000 a year. I'd say that stands heads and shoulder above any training system out there.
Porkchopjim--
if someone owned a business, you would think it would be to make money, not friends. If I grew personally or had a better marriage that is a benefit, but not a reason to keep a failing business
AnotherIBO:
Well, that's what you would think, yes? So why are there even 'training tapes' called "People of Strength, Team of Strength"?
Must be something more than making money - for the IBO, that is.
Why is Danny spending time telling a room-full of IBOs, who are already signed up and part of BWW, that BWW is the greatest? Wouldn't that time be better spent telling people who aren't already BWW folks? Why would this pitch be recommended material to help improve your business?
If you're not making money owning a business - there must be something else keeping you around.
PCJ,
Most of this tape is about the money...I actually had a hard time selecting which quote to use this week.
The point stands...They talk about this being a great business, but you ask for the money in the general population and it becomes about building you up...sure, a few people like Danny and Larry make money, a few more might make enough to pay off some bills...but where is the average IBO?
PCJ,
I personally am not hanging around. I left the business. But once again you proved my point. You said,
"Why is Danny spending time telling a room-full of IBOs, who are already signed up and part of BWW, that BWW is the greatest?"
Once again, I am my own business. Why would I care what BWW is doing? It is not quixtar and that is who IBO's are actually partnered with. Listening to some guy talk about how successful he is and how great Bill is does absolutely nothing for my business.
As far as people hanging around, maybe the talk about cults is right?!!
PCJ,
I forgot to address your comment about, why are there even training tapes? They aren't actually training, they are supposed to be motivating. I don't think there are very many "training" ones out there
Out of my 385 or so tapes, I have 22 on training...most of those are contacting tapes which I soughtoutand bought all of them I knew of.
Quixtar LOS's are like the guys who handicap football games for a living. There are hundreds of services ranked #1 in the country.
Hey Everyone,
One would expect a quitter to blogging about something that they were not man enough to do (PCJ). As far as the MBA goes, Danny's income far and away exceeds that puny salary. He makes 200,000 the two months before the beginning of the new year. Not bad for a two month period!!!
Ok guys
First of all let me tell you that what ever you think about Danny,he is a good man.If half of the people running this country had 25% of the values that I know of this man...believe me,we would be in a lot better shape.
Yes,I was in Amway/Quixtar at the beginning of it,and it was good. But just as everyone else,I just didnt have the sticking power there. You have to be able to see the end of the road and you have to be there standing at the end of it,even when times dont look good, you have to stand, and that is what Danny taught me to do....even though there are stuff that has gone on in the business that I do not agree with....you know,I dont like garden peas either....Good day....
I just wanted to say that this business is something that has to be seen to really understand it..I was very young, 19 when my dad and I both got into the business..That would put it being about 1991 or so.This business did more for me mentally than anything that could have moved me to do for myself.. The sharpest people that I had ever met was with this business.. I read books that I never would have read and they moved me in a way that was incredible. I will still say that even today the best book I have ever read was "What to say when you talk to yourself" There is a part of this business that creates people and makes them stronger in who they are and their lives..And anyone that has been in the business for anytime at all that really grasped it will say that they were made better people by it..Not only that but I was alot better at my job while being a part of amway as well.Alot more positive and just had this fire that was built up inside me that really this daily world and life itself as normal does not provide for you.. Society just is not that positive as a whole.. And mostly do thrive on negativity..That would explain why almost all news that we see on tv is negative and alot of time read in the paper..It's what negative people want to see and hear about.. We don't even realize it because we are surrounded by it everyday and it's apart of life..That feeling is taken away from you and you start seeing the person that God probably wanted you to be.. It's an awakening experience like something had just been removed that was blocking your vision all this time for years and years..It's like looking at life in a different way , and knowing it's a better perspective and actually smile at the world after you start seeing it and how most people are.. If you have ever read or heard anything that moved you and really made sense before, a sense of philosophy I guess you could call it, this one book was underlined for everything that I thought was brilliant in itself, I honestly can say that almost the entire book was underlined.. Just one line that pops into my head is "The definition of hell is you someday meeting the person you could have been.." I have often thought of that one line I read many times over the years..To me It's really talking about all the times that we have said "no" to just about anything that we might have needed or wanted in our lives in someway or fashion.. Or maybe even self doubt or disbelief in one's self..
The reason that I wrote this is to try and get a point across...This business is a whole lot more than you can ever imagine.. And for anyone to try and figure it out or probe at it without knowing and truly taking the time to see what it is and can offer will NOT see what this business is..I was only showing how one small fragment out of a very very big picture can change someone's life..The books are not Amway books, most of them were written before Amway even existed, And ironically almost all the motivational books are based entirely as biblical writings..Alot of the authors were actually ministers themself..
Now imagine spending years and years of being involved with people that are changed from things that personally moved them and are around positive people almost all the time..That person becomes alot better person than they would have been.. Basically you become like the people that you associate with.. Ok, well here you have single handedly focused upon Danny Snipes..So we will use him, He personally comes into my restaurant ever so often.. And there is a way about him that is far far from normal, and just meeting him (away from Amway) that shines through.. There's confindence in himself and what he does..He doesn't need your approval or acceptance in anyway..He's positive, very family oriented, and without a doubt that I am certain of, he doesn't do what he does in Amway because of the money anymore..It truly is a people helping people business (that's what Danny is) that most will never understand or grasp.. So there will always be places like this for people to bash Negatively on this business or at this time one particular person, that they don't personally know..
I could have easily written about how much closer me and my dad had gotten for the first time in our lives from this business. Just being together in something so strong and with positive influences.. Again only another small fragment of what this business can mean, but I think that you already get the point..
You all keep talking about the average IBO and how much do they make. But you never stop to look at everything overall. Does anyone who is just average really, truly succeed? Does the average baseball player make it to the pros? No it's those people who go out and put their all into their training. They give one hundred percent all the time. With that being said how can someone going into a business opportunity with the mentality that they won't have to work in order to achieve success? It just seems that the conversations on this board thus far are one-sided and from somewhat biased opinions.
Don't know about other systems, but "lying, over-excited lunatics" does accurately describe BWW. So you didn't forget anything...
