Ron Puryear's Stupid Test

By Preston in A/QMOs

stu·pid (stū'pĭd, styū'-) pronunciation
adj., -er, -est.

  1. Slow to learn or understand; obtuse.
  2. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes.
  3. Marked by a lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless: a stupid mistake.
  4. Dazed, stunned, or stupefied.
  5. Pointless; worthless: a stupid job.

The True North CD "Prosumer to Diamond in Two Years" by Ron Puryear (WWDB156CD) features Ron Puryear, leader of WorldWide Dream Builders, explaining that he has a test (mp3) to judge the intelligence of a person. He calls it the "stupid test."

This "teaching" is "CORE," "True North" - the pinacle of the teaching WWDB offers. Are we really left to believe that WWDB has nothing more exciting to offer in its training system that can potentially cost thousands of dollars a year than simply insulting people who decide Quixtar isn't for them?

Don't you have anything of more substance than to take an isolated quote, which includes someone saying "affectionately" a person is stupid if they see the plan and don't get involved? There are MUCH bigger issues than this, especially the tool scam being perpetuated by the "kingpins".

Let me guess Tex, the idea you had for Quixtar Blog was so much better. The content YOU can come up with is so much better. Well let me invite you to head over to blogger.com where you can get your own blog for free and show us how it is done. Dare I sense a minor hint of you still being sore for Qblog rejecting your ideas.

Wow, very similar to the BWW teachings as we shall see soon!!

Tex

What is your problem dude?

Seriously

My "problem" is all of these side issues are a waste of time when there are very real and serious issues to discuss...dude.

And no, I am not "sore" about QBlog rejecting my idea, but VERY disappointed. However, now it is easy to understand, as he is obviously more interested in this type of dribble than real issues. Appears he is a "real" journalist, interested in the titillating stories while ignoring the substantial issues.

I am quite sure the lying cowardly "kingpins" enjoy seeing these meaningless issues being discussed, it gets folks off the main issue, excessive tool profits.

Tex,

You're generally not helping your cause.

Tex,

This IS a serious issue. It demonstrates this particular organization's view on what success is and teaches the Black and White mentality that many cults use to show that we are good and everyone is not. There are a LOT of serious issues surrounding Quixtar and it would appear that having multiple people with multiple viewpoints would help bring MORE issues to the surface.

Tex, A lot of my idea's may have been rejected. It doesn't effect me a single bit. Could it be I'm an adult ;) Bottom line is this blog works exposing scam and initiate open communication.

By the power vested in me by Lords of common sense, I hereby declare you a "Troll". You are diverting conversation towards "you" instead of the excellent points these new bloggers bring up.

Takes seconds to start your own blog. If you make it good QBlog would be the first one to link it to you. It's not hard to get 100-150 hits a day if you're regular.

Tex you make yourself more ridiculous every single day. Although I will give you some credit at least you're a focused individual

"Lying cowardly KINGPINS!!"

"Excessive tool profits!!"

Besides, Tex, blog posts dont necessarily need to be essays to be effective. I was demonstrating (or beginning to) the "training" that eventually creates a reliance on the system, therein leading to recurring excessive tool profits :)

Don't be short sighted Tex...its only been a few days on the new format.

One day, Tex is going to be in the shower, thinking about life and Quixtar and BOOM, it will hit him.

"The corporation has as much to do with the problem as the kingpins."

What's stupid is people continuing to follow core and seeing no results.

Keep doing what you're doing and keep getting what you have been getting.

Tex:

"My "problem" is all of these side issues are a waste of time when there are very real and serious issues to discuss...dude."

Classic, Jim Reed.

Ty: you read my mind. I was about to write it, but then I thought since Jim is not here ...

Negative Pyramid, (TPIN) Millions lost Billions(MLB) was more entertaining then LCK (Lying cowardly kingpins) and ETP (Excessive tool profits).

I'm not certain that labeling anyone "Stupid," particularly in such a public forum, earns a gold star in the congeniality department, that is, unless you're Bill Enval.

Tex,

So if those issues are so important I again invite you to head over to blogger.com and get your own blog and tell the world. I am sure if you stop insulting Eric he might even give you a link. But coming to another blog and insulting the authors just because they don't write exactly what you want is not a way to get out the msg.

Do you agree the central point of a business is to make money? If the major source of money is tool profits, and these profits are kept hidden, then this flaw directly affects most, if not all, other issues. For example, this thread started as a "stupid test" quote from a lying cowardly "kingpin". Why is there such a need to put down those who choose not to participate in the Q business? What other type of business promotes such a thing (none that I am aware of)? This is simply an effort to get you on the "kingpin" side, promote trust, and then you will not question the excessive tool profits, because they are obviously on YOUR side. How could you consider questioning someone who pretends to be in your corner? See how the tool profit lie affects this issue? There is a solid maxim to follow the money. You can get caught up in numerous side issues, but following the money gets to the root of the problem. Other discussions feed off the root of the problem, but also tend to obscure the real issue, as not all organizations have all of these side issue problems, so people argue issues that are true in some experiences but not in others. The "kingpins" love these arguments, it takes effort and energy off the real issue, the excessive tool profits.

You can get caught up in numerous side issues, but following the money gets to the root of the problem.

Ah, root of the problem.

Root of the problem is negative pyramid my friend. Rich Devos has create a negative pyramid. People don't fail at amway because they didn't work hard. That's not why they fail. They fail because they joined a pyramid where the average net profit is below zero. They didn't know this, and even when they leave most still don't know it, but as the financial reality catches up with them, one way or another they quit and walk away with their losses. It couldn't be any other way.

The "kingpins" love these arguments, it takes effort and energy off the real issue, the excessive tool profits.

You are missing the main problem. Main problem is negative pyramid. Devos set up a negative pyramid and sit back, let the kingpins take all the blame. We'll be setting up for another scam if we let Rich Devos off the hook and focus on kingpins.

"Root of the problem is negative pyramid my friend. Rich Devos has create a negative pyramid...You are missing the main problem. Main problem is negative pyramid."

Negative pyramid, how about a positive pyramid? Negative means that not even the guy at the top makes the money so, why does he run a pyramid after all? Honestly, you probably are the dumbest entity on this forum.

The business is negative (net cash flow) for many more IBO's than it needs to be because the lying cowardly "kingpins" charge so much for their precious tools, then brag about their new home, car, boat, plane, etc., as if it came from product profits. Other than this issue, a brand new IBO can only expect a net profit if they put in some effort, like a real business! But less expensive tools result in a much sooner breakeven point, not to mention being honest about the profit source.

Christian: Negative pyramid, how about a positive pyramid? Negative means that not even the guy at the top makes the money so, why does he run a pyramid after all? Honestly, you probably are the dumbest entity on this forum.

Christian, sweetie, I don't think that is the definition of a negative pyramid. I'll give you a hint.

Imran wrote:

Get it? Now, maybe you should take back what you said about Imran.

Christian, now that's not how an IBO is supposed to act. Quit name calling and stick to the issue at hand.If you have something to dispute then lets see some stats or something to prove your point . It sounds to me that your head is so full of CDs and seminars that every time you open your mouth tapespeak comes out.

Negative pyramid means people take out less then they put in as a collective. It doesn't mean there aren't individuals taking out more then they put in, but as a whole, the sum paid in bonuses is less then the sum paid to buy Quixtar products.

Think of it as a giant poker game with every IBO at the table. The players pay the house (Quixtar) to play, who takes 66% of it, and returns 34% back to the tables. Therefore, the best any one table can do as a collective is take home 34% less then what they started with. Doesn't mean someone won't take most of the pot and be a winner, but the majority will end up with less money then they started with.

So I'm wondering, if all the guys at the tops are making so much money off of tools, why are they now offering to charge 35% of what they were previously charging? I guess it is cause now they will see so many more people buying so much more that the profits will skyrocket? In any case I spend 65% less on the tapes and haven't bought any more than I was buying before. So I get all the positive motivation to override the tons of krap that is coming in from the rest of the world and all Ron and others get what? Thank goodness the leaders in WWDB aren't Mother Theresa or something, since there is 10 times more negative on the net about her than any of them, they must be doing okay, wonder what kind of profit she must have been making on the human kindness she was pushing.
I mean really people. You don't get it, so what, get a life and find something more productive to do than bitch about it. Why not go make a success out of yourself so those who have nothing better to do, and no drive in their life to help others, can spend their time complaining about you.
Maybe I am brainwashed and delusional and whatever other derogatory thing you have to say about someone you don't know, but at least I'm happy, which is more than I can say for the 28 years before I found WWDB. I have more money, more quality of life, more friends, and a more positive outlook in the 2 years since than in the 28 years prior. How is that a bad thing?

The irony is that there are people on this blog who are complaining about the ETP (Excessive Tools Profits), but when I click on their link, they are promoting and selling MLM tools on their website. Hmmm...

The simple truth is that information marketing is a huge industry and MLM is sustained by it. And that's not a bad thing. If these systems didn't exists, the businesses wouldn't be able to grow past a certain point. They do serve a purpose.

Now as to whether you think WWDB or BWW is offering good teaching, that's a different story. I know many who say "yes" and others that say "heck no". But the fact that they have a tools business is not the moral issue.

It's whether or not they are actually teaching things, which will help people grow a business.

I dislike any entity that focuses on attacks and negativity to make it's point. If WWDB really does have crappy training, there are plenty of great resources you can find on building an MLM business the right way.

Regardless, you'll be supporting a tools system on your way to the top in any business, whether it be college, private training, seminars, books, etc.

Unless of course you choose to do nothing with your life.

Why, if you are so honest and in favor of "open communication," don't you make available for play the WHOLE EXPLANATION about the "stupid test" SO YOUR READERS CAN UNDERSTAND RON'S STATEMENTS IN CONEXT, INSTEAD OF PLAYING ONLY 2 SENTENCES OF A DETAILED CONCEPT, REFLECTING ONLY A PARTIAL THOUGHT AND CAUSING ALL WHO HAVEN'T HEARD THE WHOLE THING TO MISUNDERSTAND AND MISINTERPRET WHAT WAS ACTUALLY SAID?

ARE YOU AFRAID PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO GET THE TRUE PICTURE OF WHAT HE WAS SAYING, OR ARE YOU AFRAID THEY WILL SEE YOUR INABLILITY TO FOLLOW HIS LOGIC AND REASONING????

WOW! i dont even know what to say. I have been an ibo for a handful of months now and am making an extra two thousand per month. Brad Duncan has personally been mentoring and training me. He is not someone that is fake, but rather soemone who does want to add value to peoples lives. I dont understand why you would spend all this time complaining rather than building a business. as a diamond you get a share in everything that everyone you are complaining about gets. why waste your time writing rather than building a diamondship. you guys blow my mind

world wide teaches "people" skills and sales skills, however the internet model is wrong and does not work, the leadership will not change and admit faulure. thats why there are less diamonds now then when quixtar launched

FWIW, i entered jimmy head's downline in 1984, and hung it up in 1987. had
36 people in 5 states that i left to
my upline. none of them went anywhere
with the buisness, and neither did i.

was it a worthwhile experience? i'd
say yes, for a backhanded reason... once you've got your own self image to the point where you can walk into a multimillionaire's home, draw the circles, mention the "A" word, and not
flinch, you can talk to anyone about
***anything***.

so.... 20 years later, what "loser"
thing do i do to scratch out a living?
i'm an electrical contractor. i worked
a nine hour day, grossed 1,800 and
netted 1,500 for the day.... cash.
should be about a $4,000 net week,
for 5 partial days work.

thank god for world wide beam drillers.
they taught me that i could do anything.
once i quit trying to do it with amway.....

Hello Tex and all you not so intelligent folks, if you would just give this a try you would see that these folks know exactly what they are talking about. They have been there in the trenches. I think the reason you are so down is that you are to lazy or stupid to do anything to help yourself. This is a great opportunity, but you do have to work to be where these folks are.
