Little Bird Told Me
By QBlog in Quixtar
A lengthy video of Birdie Yager, Dexter Yager's wife, talking to a group of Amway folks.
Comments
What gathering was this? Was a mixed one (both sexes)? Because in BWW, hardly was wife ever allowed to have a lengthy speech in front of a mixed crowd, and she could not talk about the mechanics of building the biz, just usually about the nice places they traveled to and the nice things they bought, and how they supported their husbands. No meat. But it seems like Birdie was quite visible.
By the way, I hope this was a religious service, not a business meeting.
I just skimmed through the relevant portions of Genesis and could not find the part where God said He would establish His covenant with Abraham through wealth. Someone help me. (Just for the record, I doubt it exists.)
And tying Amway to God and the Bible. For goodness sakes, isn't it just supposed to be a business.
I wonder how much time these speakers actually put into their speeches before a function?
I gather by previous comments and another posting about this video somewhere else, that Birdie is talking religion.
But to tell the truth, I clicked "PLAY" and listened for about 4 seconds up to where she says, "right place at the right time" and then I remembered just how annoying she sounds; and I clicked off of it.
I haven't listened to any of these speakers in soooo long and those 4 seconds made me remember why.

I feel sorry fo Birdie.....She should be retired. She is bit of a cuckoo up there, not making much sense. Some speaker with more business knowledge and better presentation skill should be doing it.
She should join Quixtar so she can retire.
Wait, she did and she's a crown!
This video looks kind of old. However, I did a short Stint in Quixtar and attended a Yager function last summer and heard this speach almost verbatim. I still have the notes. I guess it is making its rounds.
I too, was surprised at what a poor speaker Birdie was/is. It must have really rankled the more professional diamonds of the 1990's to have to genuflect to dinosaurs like her, when they knew full well that they were far more slick and professional than her.
I never had the opportunity to see Dex 'n' Birdie in action at any of the functions I went to. I don't feel so bad about that, now. (Not that it ever really did.)
In a way, Birdie's nutty ideas, poor presentation skills, and meandering logic are encouraging. Although terrible, it proves "anyone can succeed" in this business. In other words, any nutcase can become an Emerald and above to be a lying cowardly "kingpin" and rip off thousands of IBO's via high tool prices, such as this function. I doubt this "speech" made the tape/CD list, and recordings like this are not permitted for this reason, because this "speech" was never intended to be heard again.
Anyone else notice that even the audience is feeling a little uneasy with what she is saying? I get the feeling that their all saying to themselves "uhh...I think she's crossed a line here. Do I applaud or not? I think I'll wait to see what my upline does. Okay he's clapping, so I guess it's alright."
I must say, birdie is very religious. I had the opportunity to have a small group chat with Dexter and Birdie Yager in Branson last spring. It was quite awesome. Her and dexter have helped me in my leadership ways.
You are awesome Birdie!
How can anyone listening to that and not become concerned about what is being told to those attending a meeting to learn to build a business.
The tool scam, the overpriced products, are non issues compared to the distortion of the word of God.
So, Quixtar is going back to calling themselves "Amway", eh?
Does this mean the old "Curiosity approach" will have a fresh spin? Maybe they should recruit many more celebrities like Scientology...lol.
Still in therapy after 14 years away from Scamway/Qultstar. My advice to potential IBO's: You're being sold a load of crap; grow up and find something real.
Dear friends,
what Birdie says is just simply the truth, only some of you even not the most are allergic against the truth. And Abraham was chosen by God for to be prosperous, so that you and I would be succesfull in anything. I am a Belge and still live in Belgium, and God placed me in this business because He wants to bring revival into this land.
Regards from, Mario.
Yeah I saw this the other day...she is scary.
