The Passport Question

By QBlog in Miscellaneous

I was chatting with a former Passport Associate today about Bo Short's recent move to Oasis LifeSciences. He posed the following question:

How many people would have joined Passport if they knew that it would end like it did?

That's an excellent question.

How many people who signed up with Bo Short's Passport business would have done so with the knowledge that it would essentially fold after four years and move to ? Would you?

Probably very, very few would have joined knowing the eventual outcome. However, I think that can be said about every MLM venture.

No, I personally would not have joined if I knew that after 4 years it would get swallowed by Oasis. Why waste time in Passport when it would have been better to just start in the company that became Oasis? Now another objection I have to Oasis is that it looks and sounds a lot like that old biz that changed its name in 1999. What happened to objecting to over-priced products, fake titles, and "secret" tool and/or function income?

>Probably very, very few would have joined knowing the eventual outcome. However, I think that can be said about every MLM venture.

My question is "why" anybody would pursue a dead-end mlm business opportunity numerous times?

You already know what the end result will be. It's a classic "show me the money" scheme where the new recruit has to somehow figure out "how can I get my paws in the pot"

And no, that wasn't a slam on you personally Doug G. It's just an observation.

Nice observation, you know all about Doug-G don't you?

>Nice observation, you know all about Doug-G don't you?

No, I don't. Do you?

I felt Passport wouldn't cut it. Seemed too self rightious. (sp)

My hero was Bo Short. I should have listened to Willie and had my heros be cowboys. Dallas Cowboys.
