Live Up To Your Potential

By QBlog in Miscellaneous

Last Friday Quixtar was featured in the Life section of USA Today. The two-page spread was sponsored by the DSA and promoted the Quixtar business opportunity. That's cool because Quixtar doesn't advertise.

More conflicting information...
"We don't advertise, please check out our advertisement about it in USA today!"

I'm glad they raised some money...or was that in products like Reliv does? (http://www.reliv.com/docs/kalogdonate.pdf)

I say this not to discredit them for thier service, but many cults use ads like this one that pull people in because of the good deeds they do. Don't be decieved

One more thing, notice how Quixtar no longer reports annual sales? It is now 5 Billion since 1999! Someone should tell them that 1999 was a long time ago! And 1.7 Billion paid out since 1999? 2005-1999 = 5 years. 1.7 Billion / 5 years = 340 million per year. If memory serves me correctly, they have about 360,000 people in at any given time...$944.44 per year...SIGN ME UP, BABY!

uh-oh looks like they're getting desperate. They're losing IBO's so now they have to advertise in hopes of getting more recruits the few who haven't been prospected by an IBO yet.

So if you aren't involved in Quixtar, you aren't living up to your potential?

What a bunch of goobers.

Still reading and digesting this thing. Pardon me, did they say "number one online health and beauty RETAILER"? Don't the statistics show that there are not ENOUGH retail sales, hence one of the problems?

Well, this is infinitely preferable to having the Amway faithful trying to invade my space at work, or at the bookstore, etc. Oh, and I'm no grammar expert, but LIVE LIKE YOU WANT sounds sort of wrong. Shouldn't it be live AS you want (to live)?

Actually, think about it . . . "Live Like You Want" could be a really clever pun on the nature of the dreamers who sign up.

:?)

The Mayor's Office believes this ad campaign is a stealth mission to prepare the public mind for the DeVos for President run.

Also, I am suspicious whenever somebody follows the phrase "live up to your potential" with the phrase "make money."

Its strange that the article does not have the fine print disclaimer "the average IBO earned $115/month". I wonder what the FTC thinks of them saying they paid out $1.7 billion without the disclaimer?

Oh, lawdawg, you clever fellow. I see it now. It is all about WANT. The quix recruits will be found wanting for a lot of things---a viable income, common sense, friend and family approval, space to store their mountains of motivational tapes and books....

...and let's not forget the whiteboard for practiceing the plan with their pets (who are sleeping) and plants (which have no brain to wash). Interesting how the advertising thing is slowly breaking down and they seem to have to do so in order to maintain. What could possibly be the problem...?

That was really disturbing.

sorry, I'm in the habit of commenting, THEN reading the other comments (which is how I thought it should be, I guess).

We lived like we wanted for seven years before the light of Team In Focus came on and exposed all the nonsense to us. Thank you, Luronda! By living like we wanted, I mean we were living IN want. As far as having a place to store all of my tapes, I recently filled 2 jumbo garbage cans with them. I quit counting after $10,000 in audio and video tapes, CD's and literature. I did, however, keep the books, many of which I've found enjoyable and informative now that I actually have the time to read them. My pets are much more friendly now and my plants suddenly began to thrive since I stopped practicing the plan on them. Our friends and family are slowly returning after 10 years. Life is good.

So maybe this thread should read:

"Live up to your potential by getting out of Quixtar"?

Quixtar is number one in retail sales..... they sell it to the IBO at their "retail price" and the IBO is free to resell it at a higher price. The IBOs are not employed salespeople, who are selling the product, they are resellers. Just like any company who sells parts to a computer store, the computer store has "bought" the parts and resells them. The original company makes money no matter what price the store sells it at.

Remember, Quixtar is 100% profitable... 99% of their "independent" salesforce is not.

ME

* * * OKAY - LISTEN UP ! ! ! ! ! !

Over half of the above comments are from people not even in business with Quixtar, so where the hell is there credibility?

Secondly, the people that actually "tried" to be an IBO obviously didn't try very hard! The "48 yr old" had a bad attitude about it before he even got started so yeah, he probably wouldn't do to good at it, DUH!

****Quixtar is supported by Britt World Wide, BWW was around way before Quixtar and people were making money back then !

QUIXTAR WORKS - I have been in this for 2 months and have just recieved a check for a little over $360.00 - and next month it WILL double because i actually try to do the business, if you do DO SOMETHING obviously nothing will happen !

The only way you won't succeed in this business is if YOU QUIT !

As for "Advertising", what do you expect? There's a growing multi-billion dollar company taking over some sales on the web, what - you dont think someone would want to hear about it - all of the articles on the Quixtar website are REVIEWS not ads - and the "AD" in USA today isnt an AD - its an article. **EXAMPLE: If national geographic does an article on Nutrilte that doesn't mean there going to say "hey buy Nutrilite stuff" - they are just opening it up to people that dont know about it, NEWS is information.

AND YEAH - DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET, EVEN IF ITS PRO QUIXTAR, DONT EVEN BELIEVE THIS - I DONT CARE ! !

All i know is that this business is insane, almost sick, this opportunity is the only one of its kind that has EVER existed!

Dont let people without credit (non IBOs and sarcastic quitters) ruin it for you!

I could really care less if you did the business because I AM, and im not going to QUIT ! ! !

Keep your eyes and mind open and your ears shut.

Morgen,

You're in BWW? Is that the bill britt who claims to hate divorce then goes out and has an affair? The same bill britt who says quixtar is great, why do you need anything else, then he goes out and loses 5 million in a ponzi scheme? Is that the same britt worldwide you're working with?

Ok, im 18 years old and Ive figured out that I dont want to go to work 5 or 6 days a week until i dieortry to live off 1 million dollars at whatever age because its just not going to work. Im in my first month in business for quixtar and all im doing like everyone else is changing my buying habits to shop there and get paid for it. Im only going to make about $25 my first month in business. But let me ask any of you who question that, how many businesses have you started where you made a profit your first month in business. Next month it will probobly be a check for anywhere from 50 -100$. And ive seen it done by friends, where the work you put in is exactly what you get out. Ive seen people do nothing....guess what....they get nothing.

Nobody said this was going to be easy, a business takes work, and thats what you do. And yes it can happen. If im 18 and seen it happen, whats there to stop someone who is 40 years old. They have the same opportunities as me.

Im not going to lie because i know that this isnt for just anyone, its for those who are willing to do something as simple as changing where you buy things like food or daily things around the house. And the only way for you or anyone to become successful is to help others, and it continues on from there.

So i, as many others, dont care about those of you who thinks it is a scam just because many of them weren't putting in the effort or had the right attitude. Thats their fault.

The reason i am doing this and most other people besides the reasons for making some extra cash is that, i believe many of us will be doing most everything through computer which includes the internet. And if i can eliminate having to go to the store, especially this time of year(christmas), and have to fight the crowds of people, I will do so b=jst by clicking a button and having someone else bring me what i want.

Good luck Collin.

So you made $25 after deducting the cost of your KATE, standing order and functions?

Who said most businesses don't make a profit after their first month? Most of them do. It's just that a convential business requires rental space, etc so it may take time to recover the start up costs, but they make money from the start once they open their doors.

Tell me what business besides quixtar requires continuing education at a cost far after the business is started?

hmmm, if quixtar was illegal than why do companies like circuit city do business with them? theres obviously money to be made for circuit city. im interested in it, and the most u can lose is what 160 bucks not really sure? so even if it is a scam or doesnt work its not like u lose a lot. stop hating on a good opportunity, maybe you should try being more of a risk taker.

I went to my first Quixtar thing lastnight and did a little research after i got home. Now why in the world would you sign up and do this thing when the products Quixtar sells on their site are over priced? Doesn't make sense. They say they do buisness with circut city and all these other companies, then why is the same camera $100 cheaper on circut city's web site. All the things i researched are inflated on their site. So lets spend an extra $250 or more and get a $88 check for buying their over priced product.
