Well, you're welcome... I think.

Damn James, you young bucks got it made!

I wish I had this blog to refer to when I was originally recruited into the big rotten A back in '97.

(Chalks up another tally mark on blackboard.)

BTW -- you are damn right, mlmscam.

Well, James, you should've put the knowledge gathered from the blog to better use... You could've pretended that you're interested and play those Ambots a little longer to waste their time.

Now, after having gotten a definite "no" from you, they will think that "they are that much closer to a 'yes'" (it's a numbers game, they are taught on tapes and from stage), and thus they will move to the next, perhaps a less informed, unenlightened, and gullible victim.

dj,

James was the Q* recruiter, not the recruitee who said no. James got a definite "no" from THEM!! He will have to move on to the less informed, unenlightened and gullible victim...

This blog is awesome. I absolutely love this site. I know it saved me from getting involved with something that I wouldn't have been happy doing. Therefore it saved me some embarassment, and more importantly time and money.

I will say this, some people really do well with Quixtar I'm sure it's just the odds are very much against them. I think (from watching my friend and a few other IBO's I've run into) if you go into Quixtar looking to become a millionaire you will be greatly disappointed, however if you go into it looking to make a couple hundred extra a month it would be obtainable.

Honestly, in my opinion the health and beauty products really aren't that bad and if a drink like XS was in stores and readily available for consumption in time I guarantee it would outsell Red Bull. The problem is IBO's are told these products are discount prices, when actually most of them are more expensive.

The best thing about this blog is the ability to gain tons of imformation on Amway/Quixtar which makes it much easier to make an educated decision on whether it's for you or not. After I acquired infromation from sites like this one and compared it with the information my friend gave me I just saw too many inconsistancies and I didn't like that but that's just me.

Take this blog and use it to your advantage in whatever decision you make. Get all the information first, then decide what is best for you.

James,

You're missing a wonderful opportunity here. Take it from an Ex-25000PV Ruby, you have to fight this crap the same way you combat junk-mail. Return all of the prepaid envelopes with "no-thank you written on the outside". Have the guy back to your home about 5 times for "no-shows". If you play your cards right, and look real poochy faced, you can even wrangle a trip to Baskin Robbins to "celebrate" your first no-show.

Telling them "No" does nothing but make them happy. Most are doing like I did, rewarding themselves after X number of No's. A "Maybe" or "I'm really trying" really short circuits the whole system. Even better, sign up and then ask for your money back.

Got a bone to pick there, George. (grinning) I loved your suggestion to James. /Ima

I agree with Big Dog's comments above. I'm not here to steal anyone's dream, or to hope they fail or quit. I just want people to make an informed decision about the quixtar opportunity if they are going to participate.

Had I known that the big pins made a fortune from tapes and seminars, I would not have been so committed to attending all. In my case, I discovered this after I left the business. You see my upline told me that worldwide was a non-profit group.

So for prospective quixtar agents, you should just know that there are a lot of inaccurate information being handed out when the plan is shown, such as 95% of small businesses fail in 5 years or less.

If you sign up, I hope you succeed, but knowing that for you to succeed, many can and will fail. The numbers have proven this.

Maybe pinkfloyd is right, but it's still confusing who was who. If James is the Q* recruiter, and THEY said no to him because THEY read QBlog, why did THEY (or "that guy") come to James's appt in the first place? I think it's still possible that James was the potential recruitee saved by QBlog, so his thanks to QBlog may have been genuine. Is anyone feeling like Alice in Wonderland yet? :-)

I wish I had had access to a blog like this before I signed up with amway. It would have saved me a lot of time and money.

Ironically, I joined so I would have extra time and money.

Well, if you believe that a penny saved is a penny earned, then all those who have read this blog and didn't join AmQuix because of it, should pay QBlog a royalty for the time and money they have earned (saved) by not joining. If people did that, QBlog would then live an AmQuix diamond lifestyle (as advertised, with residual income security) and would become a poster-boy as someone who has profited from the business without ever sponsoring a soul. There will be blogs about QBlog telling people why they should and shouldn't be reading his blog. Thus the circle will be complete. :-)

LOL dj!!! That's a great idea for Qblog! Anyway, I think I may have been mistaken...it DOES sound like James was the recruitee and he's never going to have that guy come back again...thanks for helping Alice clear that up! :)

James, You are an idiot!!!

Very profound, Adam...you really added a lot to this discussion. Thanks!
