The House Guest
By Not QBlog in Miscellaneous
So. Here I am. In charge of the mighty, mighty Quixtar BLOG.
Wow. What an awesome responsibility. Just me and all you thousands of readers. What should I write about? Q Blog didn't give me any instructions, really. Just a few "don'ts" like,
- Don't get personal
- Don't post pictures wider than 320 pixels
- Don't respond to a comment when you're mad
Stay away from those and "you'll be golden," he told me.
Well, I've been reading this blog for awhile and I know better than that. Q Blog holds himself to a high standard for content (most of the time) and you guys are tough customers. The only way I figure I can possibly measure up is to do something different. But what?
Nothing might be nice ... Or how 'bout a quote?
Right away I thought maybe I could play hooky. Yeah. I could not write something and you could not read it and you could totally not leave any comments and ... Oh. Wait. I think he'd catch on to that. No posts. No comments. That would be kind of obvious. He might not appreciate it, either, if over the course of four or five days I lost his reader base.
Then I thought I could just post a week's worth of pithy quotes. Something to get you thinking as you began each day. Something brief, yet so powerful that you'd be inspired to go forth and make the world a better place. Something like:
"Don't let anyone steal your dreams."
Hmmm. Well, on second thought, maybe not.
The easy road's always best
So in the end I'm left with my fallback idea, the easy way out. And I want to tell ya, it's an original: Let the reader decide.
How 'bout it girls and boys? What do you want to talk about? We could talk baseball. Dogs. Music. Saving the world. OK, Quixtar. Anything you want.
Leave a comment. Spark an idea. Get something started with me. Who knows? Maybe we'll start our own spin off: Son of Quixtar BLOG. Or The Not Quixtar BLOG. No matter what: Let's just have some fun this week while Q Blog's away.
Comments
mmm... lets see since this is quixtar blog. How about you write about your views on quixtar. What do you think it does right and what do you think it does wrong?
Hey Not qBlog,
I know how you feel, in fact I felt the same way, but let me tell you what I found...
What'ya mean, dogs??? What about cats? Hmmpffff.....love those furry critters....
Hey, on a serious note, anyone (Tony maybe) need some WWG info pack cases? You can have 'em for shipping only.
also have a Advanced Air Treatment unit that was hardly used. There's a cost for that tho...
How about we do an eBlog & trade / sell our Qstar stuff to the proponents? No PV/BV, but what the heck if the price is right!!
Baseball : Carlton Fisk's Home Run in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.
Dogs : Sheltys, I guess.
Music : John Coltrans's "A Love Supreme"
Santana's "Caravanserai"
Saving The World : (Let's keep this light) Austin Powers.
Which Austin Powers is the best - I'd say 3: Goldmember. How bout a favorite quote?
Tony, it is amazing that your movie referencs only go out so long. Like, it is as if you stopped going to movies after a certain point in your life.
Care to explain why?
I bet I can venture a guess.......
The only Austin Powers that I saw was "The Spy Who Shagged Me". Of all the characters Mike Myers played in that movie, Dr. Evil stole the show. No favorite quotes.
df, again displaying his ignorance. Scott was the one that mentioned Austin Powers, I just followed along since I just watched Goldmember recently.
But since you're so interested, I've also recently seen War of Worlds, Hitch, and SW: Episode 3. I plan on seeing Cinderella Man soon. Actually a whole group of my friends in the business went and saw Cinderella Man, they made it a team event, but I was out of town visiting relatives.
Wow, 2 myths disproved with 1 statement: that IBO's never go to the movies, and that they disown their family. DF really lives up to his name!
omg........Tony and Df
Even when you don't talk about quixtar, your up each others ass.
=P
So New but not permant Qblog poster guy of the second generation
I see a connection on this site, that we(the commentors) should talk about Quixtar or similar things of the sort.
Unless you find something funny and stupid.
For example
Like a story on people, who actually train dogs to act like cats and cats to act like dogs
But whats the fun in the story if it had no problem
So the problem is that animal rights people think it's not ethical and it's just plain darn stupid(which that would be the title of the story too, PLain darn stupid.
Now there something you wouldn't see, read, hear nor think about =P
What you think Commentor guy! =P
I mean Poster guy!
Hmmm...baseball is only interesting when my kid is playing. Watching a bunch of grown-ups in tight pants getting paid to play a game strikes me as foolish....and the connection to Quixtar is: a baseball ticket STILL costs less than the average weekend function admission. I'd say the return on the investment for either (the baseball tick or the FED) is about the same, except at least I get to sleep after a ball game, and I can have a lousy beer if I want it.
Dogs. I have a dog. A small beagle. He sheds. And the connection to Quixtar is: I use the Amway vac DH bought to pick up the shed hair. I did til last week anyway. Then it broke. The company wants $200 to fix it, and they can get away with charging that cause the IBO will pay it and doesn't care. I could buy a new one for that price.
Music. I like music. Some of the music I like is produced by members of the RIAA. And the connection to Quixtar is: RIAA cashed a nice, big, fat check rith Quixtar's name on it!
Saving the world - one awakened dreamer at a time.
How about explaining the difference between writing a blog and writing in a diary? It seems to me that it takes about the same amount of work and skill level.. I find it funny that whole conferences and web sites are dedicated to "blogging".. What is the big deal? Chat rooms, a more dynamic way of communication, has been around for much longer but I don't see conferences on chatting?
Hey Tony,
Interesting. I think upline must have changed a bit. When I was in the biz, we only got to watch movies that upline recommended. They would only recommend movies that were inspirational in nature. I guess some things have changed.
Strangely enough, the reason why I don't get into the name calling with Tony, Michael and M&M is because I suspect that many of us ex-IBO's were like Tony and company back when we were in the biz.
I think most of us who joined saw something such as a few extra bucks each month, or some people saw fabulous wealth, and some of us wanted to be in the 2% that "made it" However for those of us that are now critics of the business, it's because we finally saw through the deception and were able to see the business more objectively. For me it was the sad reality that I was netting a loss at the 4000 level, despite assurances that I would be well off at that level. In addtion, my upline told me to get rid of my fiance' (now wife). It was then that I got out.
I think based on some of Tony's statements, the upline don't push the tools as hard these days, but I think in the long run, the vast majority of people fail in amway/quixtar because your success depends on being able to manipulate the behaviors of others (convince them to join up with you). And if that's not hard enough, there's a lot of information (the truth) that points out the very low chance of success (many will play, few will win).
Hey CK, what does your reference to DH mean? Is it a reference to your spouse or something?
I have seen this in other places and have always been curious what it stands for and what other abbreviations there are out there.
That being said, I hope you will understand that this is said with complete curiosity - no malice intended.
If you want you can contact me by clicking my name and sending me an email.
Thanks,
Clifford
Gee, I guess the business HAS changed some, maybe more people will start getting in, maybe the #'s will grow. No more product pick-up (what a hassle), no more cutting checks to downline, now its handled directly by Qx. No dealing with returns. Partner Stores like Circuit City, Disney, IBM. More and more people getting accustomed to buying online. The stiffness of the old business fading away, new products coming out, tools and seminars becoming more useful other than "rah rah". Maybe there's more to it now, maybe the #'s will continue to grow. I'm seeing the numbers grow on my local team. Our open is about to split. Already did like 3 years ago.
Funny how critbots slowly ransack another post. This was about baseball, movies, music, but then back to bashing Qx. Shag it IS funny how df is always on my ass, isn't it?
Well I'm gonna take it back on topic!
What movie is this from:
"Why does is say paper jam, when there is NO paper jam!"
or
"Do I look 50 to you? - "Only from the neck up".
Anyone, anyone.... Bueller?
Saving the world - one awakened dreamer at a time.
Good advice, CK!
Tony, I'll help you out.
'Don't know the first line, but the second movie quote is from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
How about this quote. It comes at the beginning and end of the same movie:
What's your dream? Everybody gotta ahave a dream..."
Hi, Clifford J.
Your email link doesn't work, but "DH" means "Dear Husband". And he IS a Dear Husband. Unfortunately, he's also partaking of the kool-aid, so without being involved myself, I still get a regular dose of the Quixtar lifestyle.
Speaking of movie quotes, the American Film Institute just compiled a list of the 100 most memorable movie quotes. Here's the URL
http://www.afi.com/tvevents/100years/quotes.aspx#list
My favorite: "Go ahead, make my day.
CK, just curious if you've been to any functions or nightowls with your DH, glad you 2 are still together even though you don't see eye to eye on this. btw, does he know you post here? Wouldn't it be funny if Michael or Em was her DH! Ahhh, anyways...
Inquiring, yes the last "quote" is from Ferris Bueller, I didn't mean it as a question though, more of a reference, anyone know the 1st two? Come on the 1st one is easy!
Do you guys need a hint.
btw, give me a hint on the other one, is it a real movie?
Tony> CK, just curious if you've been to any functions or nightowls with your DH, glad you 2 are still together even though you don't see eye to eye on this. btw, does he know you post here? Wouldn't it be funny if Michael or Em was her DH! Ahhh, anyways...
Imran> This is funny! :D Could be :D
Think M & M / Big M, does your wife likes running?
Thanks for it Tony, stay a little longer here and you'll be a real cool dude again.
And Michael is single, enjoys lap dances etc. ;)
If anyone needs to have their "Quixtar bash" fix release for the day or week vs. dogs, cats, etc.. they can go to my blog and check out the divorce decree I posted from the divorce in which I got full custody of a six month old baby, because mom was found to be unstable living an "ambot" lifestyle and having affairs with quixtar IBOs.
If you click on the individual pages, you'll be able to actually read the divorce decree.
http://quixtarcriminals.blogspot.com/
I'll post more of the transcripts later, it becomes very clear that the judge was disgusted with the quixtar cult. He slammed them in his ruling.
I believe the first quote was from Office Space?
Jona's dad, yeah Judge slammed Quixtar pretty much and made it clear that a person who chooses Quixtar over employment event is irresponsible enough to be denies the right to be a parent. AND, it's against the mother, that's the huge thing. Very sad, but Judge did what is best for child. Hopefully.
Now here are something gonna happen to your wife in Quixtar. She might be given some platinum legs!!! or Uplines will sign up their and whole teams prospects under her to stack her up. And they'll definitely get her to speak while it's fresh, and she is still in their hands.
They'll be stupid (Quixtar cult wise) if they don't get her chance to speak in front of thousands of other ppl, and will pay her some good portion of that speaking money. It will create a lot of commitment among the team.
Remember an IBO who commented in your blog, the very first post? He said your wife did the right thing leaving her baby for Quixtar. That's their thought process.
Ok I’ll go a bit over the top. Maybe upline could cut her some slack enough so she doesn’t appear as Quixtar brainwashed as she appeared to the judge. But maybe they're planning all above?
It's the heart felt stories business. That's all!
Yes I am CK's dear husband. Honey, I'll get the Cleartrak sent off tomorrow. Meanwhile about that damn dog.....
Tony,
Yeah, the line I shared was actually from "Pretty Woman" walking along the streets of Hollywood.
Imran...
Gotta love those lap dances... :-p
A topic I'd like to discuss is who is the mysterious house guest? Qblog's alter ego?
Since we are all discussing Movies, I think the mysterious house guest is like the magician who hid behind the curtain playing OZ in the wizard of OZ... "don't look at that man hiding behind that curtain!!" "pay no attention to him!"
Could the house guest be female? who knows? Could be a "bot" too...
Tony,
Yeah, the line I shared was actually from "Pretty Woman;" this black dude was walking along the streets of Hollywood saying this.
Wow, its time to have fun here for just a little bit. Who beleives that Quxitar has a subliminal message in their XS log?
http://www.amquix.info/humor/subliminal/xs_or_sex.html
I got a hoot out of the XS post, Scott! My printer is not hooked up at the moment; I will get that up and print out a copy for the neighbor who bought XS from me all the time before switching to something cheaper...the shipping drives the cost too high!!
BTW, I like the idea of a Quixtar product auction or trade. I would like to get these cult products out of my house (It seems like every day now I am finishing something up and a give a little a little cheer: I think my Cult Bodywash will be empty tomorrow), The problem I have is that I will not throw away perfectly good products, but I have enough laundry detergent to last another 10 years!! Selling it would be much better...
Another thought, why is grape active 8 one of only TWO flavors they kept shorty after Quixtar launched? Is there any relationship to PTC here?
Just a thought...
LOL...that's funny, M&M.
Actually, my DH probably doesn't even know who emminem is, cause that would involve listening to something other than BWW propaganda, which is a big No NO (not that listening to that trash is a good idea, but at least being aware of the world around you usually IS a good idea).
And Tony, does he know I post here? I don't know. We have DSL, so the puter is almost always logged in, and we each just use whoever's SN is already logged in, so I'm sure he's seen this page in my bookmarks.
In his defense, DH is not near as far gone as M&M, writes better, and would not get involved in some of the more overtly hostile non-sense that some of the other IBO's have here.
(Note: I realize that the critics have been equally as ridiculous in the whole "you're a moron", "No, YOU ARE!" campaigns, that was not the point).
xanadustic,
You do know quixtar has their own live auction don't you? You might want to try selling your quixtar stuff where alot of IBO's would probably want to buy...
Imran, 1st of all she didn't "leave her baby for Quixtar", she lost a custody battle - there is a difference, and what the ONE IBO said is NOT "our thought process". I've told JD, she should not have left him or cheated on him, but people make mistakes.
But I do hope she goes Platinum and Diamond, not to justify the mistakes she made, but to help her get joint custody again. To show that liberal commy judge that this isn't a "cult" and to show JD she did it, even without his help.
I feel sorry for JD, for what he lost - but I really have ill feelings for him, 1 for not helping his wife do this. Even if he thinks MLM is not legit, he could have helped her retail Gift Albums to corporations or XS to restaurants, gyms, etc. People are doing that and making money at it right now! You don't have to go to functions or be on SOT to do That JD, you could have at least done that if you weren't into the "networking" thing. This situation was avoidable.
And 2, I think it was wrong that he took full custody, I hope he at least lets her visit Jona. And did she really have affairs with multiple IBOs or didn't she just have 1. Either way she was wrong, no argument there.
Moving on...
Yes, the first one is Office Space, great flick!
The second one (about "do i look 50 to you)is from Ocean's 12.
Yea, you stumped me on the Pretty Woman one... let's see if you get this classic:
"Sarge, do you really think its a good idea to march today, it is the cold and flu season".
Retailing to stores and resturants is a JOKE with Q products...they are so high priced the store won't pay for them. Further, the corporation rules for marketing drives them NUTS if you follow them. Example, if you market XS in a bar, they can not display the can, give the can, sell on the go, or even announce that they have XS. It MUST be in the generic 'energy drink'. The bar can get large discounts from Red Bull or any other company by large marketing, but the Q price stays exactly the same no matter how much you buy. The difference between the wholesale and retail is $0.30 per can, so making a price deal yourself is not worth your time and for the typical IBO who puts in on a charge card, the interest will eat you up faster than the profit rolls in.
This same arguement goes for almost anything with the possible exception a few of the B2B items.
This thing is simply a scam to get the little guys rah rahed up to believe that they can make it all the while paying pay to play fees in the form of overpriced products to make the ones at the top of each leg wealthy (don't give me that 'I can make more than my sponsor' crap; that is inherient in ANY stairstep/breakaway plan).
Tony> 1st of all she didn't "leave her baby for Quixtar", she lost a custody battle - there is a difference
Imran> Not really. Why exactly did she lost her battle? Court made a very rare decision based on the evidence.
I do appreciate ur stance though.
Why? She had an affair!! I think THAT was a little damaging! And she was in debt! Blame the biz for that if you want, but the majority of this country is in debt. And ANY business takes some investment. How much debt did YOU go into for college - I know I went 40 grand worth of it!
And X, go back to quoting bible verses, it really is the only thing you're qualified to argue about!
I know a lot of bars caryying XS, they can "announce" that they carry it, they just have to pour it out of the can, which is what they do with Red Bull anyways. And most bars I know are paying 1.35 - 1.50 for RedBull, so woopie, XS is 1.70. Its a better drink!! Plus you can pick your flavor!
Do you think a bar pays the same price for a Budlight as they do a Guiness? Do you think they sell it for the same price? Hell no! So if XS is 30 or 40 CENTS more a can, charge $4.50 for the Jager bomb, versus, $4.00! You pay $2.50 for a budlight, but a Guiness is gonna cost you $3.50 - but people pay it!
And theres reasons why they can't sell in the can or "on the go", etc. It's to protect the average IBOs from someone with connections getting it in at a large retailer.
Imagine my Profit if my uncle managed a Walmart and sold it by the case there! But then that screws the average IBO retailing it to customers!
And have you even Heard of the Gift Albums?? How can you say the only thing saleable is some of the B2B stuff! The gift albums are awesome!!
https://www.quixtar.com/products/content.aspx?pid=2811&ctg=7017
X, I totally disagree with your post!
Imran, I appreciate your stance though too.
Tony said, "But I do hope she goes Platinum and Diamond,.... To show that liberal commy judge that this isn't a "cult" and to show JD she did it, even without his help"
Frank Says: Tony, you are a complete idiot.
Thanks Frank - I'm glad you substantiated your claim. See I think the judge doesn't understand business concepts, such as Free Enterprise and franchising... and probably voted for Clinton and/or Kerry - which IMHO makes him a liberal commy (Dutch) bastard. (sorry had to throw in more 'Goldmember' refernces ;)
Oh Frank, care to comment on any of the OTHER stuff I said above... I'd love to hear it.
Tony> Why? She had an affair!! I think THAT was a little damaging! And she was in debt! Blame the biz for that if you want, but the majority of this country is in debt. And ANY business takes some investment. How much debt did YOU go into for college - I know I went 40 grand worth of it!
Me> Yes there are a lot of people in debt in the country but what do you consider debt?
Are you talking credit cards? My only debt is the mortgage on my house, but my house is worth a lot more than the balance on my mortgage so I don't consider that bad debt like a credit card. My new car is paid off and I have some savings. Is that debt?
Well, I won't substantiate Frank's claim, but I will say that it's an idiotic assumption that because a judge doesn't think the late-night, leave your kids with a sitter and follow your dream lifestyle of Quixtar is less than healthy he:
*is a 'commy liberal'
*probably voted for Kerry, or
*doesn't understand free-enterprise or business concepts.
That is some seriously flawed logic. Remember logic tests? Some flubs are drubs, and some drubs are wickets, then some wickets are flubs...True or false? The answer is false. Some wickets MAY be flubs, but the conclusion cannot be drawn from the facts, just as your conclusion cannot be drawn from the facts.
In FACT, I am a member of the Republican party, voted for GW Bush (although with some reluctance...I more voted against Gore and Kerry than I did FOR Bush), and understand quite clearly the concepts of free enterprise and business.
And after careful review combined with personal observation, I have reached the conclusion that 1) AmQuix AMOs are a cult, and 2) Alticor is as guilty as they, since they are aware of the abuses but allow them to continue in order to maintain the bottom line.
Where does that leave your 'logic', Tony?
Tony,
Little known to you, but I DO know a lot of business concepts (not as much as some people here). My father built a very large international business. I can bounce a lot of business concepts off of him. Put your knowledge about business against his, and he will win.
About what you are and are not allowed to do, I was lined up for a bar client and I called the corporation and talked to them to find out exactly what is and is not allowed. You call the corporation and they will tell you, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT YOUR ENERGY DRINK IS XS!! Do they still? Probably.
If you are selling XS to a bar for 1.70 a can, my friend, you are LOSING MONEY!!! I did the math. To break even, you must be selling at 1.85 a can minimum to recoupe shipping and sales tax. To get free shipping, you must order 37 cases at a time. Good luck selling all that at once. Can it be done? Yes. Is it easy? No, because the other mainstream corporations are more competative at price and the bar often is concerned with the bottom line, not giving the beer drinking community the best health...if that was their goal, they would not be in the business they are in!
Did X just make the "my daddy" argument? I didn't say I knew more than your DAD x, I said you should stick to quoting the Bible!
I don't sell XS to any bars, they buy it themselves. So if after shipping it costs them $1.85 - like I SAID, charge 50 cents more! And its not about "best health" - its about best product! XS is simply better than RedBull! And you KNOW it! Whether your still an IBO or not, you KNOW XS tastes better than Redbull - and Diet redbull tastes like A$$!
Not to mention redbull has 1 flavor XS has 8 varieties now! Its a premium drink! People pay more for premium beer and vodka - they pay more for a better tasting energy drink that they can even pick the flavor of!
So the bottom line is the same for the owner! Probably even better, cause they'll sell more - I know a lot of people who won't drink Redbull because of all the sugar!! I think you know how much we've got!
joe18, you might have good debt, but thats not what I'm talking about when I say the majority of this country is in debt. and most people don't have their car paid off, though I do too.
CK> the late-night, leave your kids with a sitter and follow your dream lifestyle of Quixtar is less than healthy.
T> OH, but send them to Daycare ALLDAY to be raised by strangers is just fine?? Give me a break! You act as if people just ditch their kids at grandma and stay out til 1am 7 days a week! Most of the people I know with kids have their grandparents watch them 1 night a week, for the Open meeting! The other days, it's mommy staying home making dinner, while Daddy goes out and shows the plan.
I know some people take their kids out to parks or wherever to go contacting. Its ONE late night a week - and they're usually with a family member, not to mention the kids are usually asleep by 10pm anyways, whats it matter if 1 night a week you stay at a nightowl til 1am!
If that judge didn't understand the business enough to see that it isn't a cult, then he probably doesn't understand business. 100%, no, but I'm guessing that he is a liberal judge, and voted for Kerry and/or Gore. JD, I'd love to know if you do.
But CK, you only prove my point - See I never said you couldn't understand these business concepts and vote for Bush. I said the Judge Doesn't understand these concepts, and THATS why I'm betting he's liberal and voted for Kerry or Gore.
Tony,
XS suck (I know suck is a 'bad' word, but XS does)
I can digest indian food but XS made my belly go "Thump thump thump"
Where are old school classic products gone?
Yeah, I've heard the 'it's one night a week' comment ad nauseum. It never is. That's not what played out in our house (mom makes dinner, while Dad is out showing the plan in timbuktu, home by 9 or 10PM, after the kids are in bed), and it's not what was playing out in the life of Jonas' Mom, or the countless other IBOs who've told their stories.
And about putting the kids with gramma...you have a strange group of friends who enlists their aged parents for baby duty. Mine wouldn't and couldn't do it, and even if they could, it's not their responsibility.
And we're not talking about the DIFFERENCE between putting kids in daycare during the day vs in the evening, we're talking in ADDITION, since the vast, vast majority of IBOs are supporting their 'business' with a JOB that actually pays money.
You have continued down your illogical path of 'the judge didn't like my business, therefore he doesn't understand it'. To which you add "the judge doesn't like my business, and since he doesn't like it, that proves he doesn't uinderstand it, and since he doesn't understand it, he must also be a liberal".
A) The fact that he doesn't like the business either means he doesn't get it, OR it means he gets it, and formed an opinion different from yours. But that doesn't work in Quixtar land, cause if you don't agree with us, you are 'them'...as in us vs. 'them'.
B) The fact that the judge reached a different conclusion that you did about the validity of 'the business', even if it DID prove he didn't understand it, would not prove that he's a communist or a liberal. He probably doesn't understand rocket science, non-euclidian geometry, or nuclear physics, either. Does that prove he wears his boxers backward? There's NO CAUSE AND EFFECT here (which was the point of my example about myself - NO CAUSE AND EFFECT).
After reading some of your replies, Tony, I understand why you think AmQuix is so wonderful. There has been a disconnect somewhere in your logic circuits.
Hey Imran - you ever seen Billy Madison? Remeber when that little kid said "Donkey Kong sucks" to quote Billy... "Oh, yea well YOU suck!" haha just playing ;)
You're entitled to your opinion about XS, my dad also doesn't like any flavor but Tea-Berry, especially the new TeaBerry! But I doubt you like Redbull either then. Not everyone likes energy drinks or even carbonated drinks. I think XS is awesome, and most people agree, especailly if they like Redbull.
CK, gotta go - I'll respond to you asap.
Regarding the XS drinks, on the quitar advocates, someone mentioned how XS drinks are $23.99 per case and red bull is $24.99 per case.
However they did not mention that XS drinks are 12 to the case and red bull drinks are 24 to the case. The cans are the same size.
Unless XS has some special flavor that you really like, it's a porr buy. Red bull also has a diet drink now so the issue of sugar is moot.
Ok, let me clarify, when I was referring to the red bull at a better price, that's if you buy it at Costco. If you buy red bull online, then the XS is comparable and might be a little cheaper.
Sorry I missed all the discussion...
Actually the judge is very conservative... He is one of the states most respected, he is known for holding no bias to one parent based on sex or standing, etc. In fact, the country's foremost cult expert I hired to testify about Quixtar being a reknowned cult in the psychology circles, was extremely liberal, she went on and on about Clinton and being in his home state, etc... She was a flaming liberal. She recognized the judges conservatism and held back on some of her opinions. Trust me, I'm a die hard republican. In this part of the state, most are, this is Wal-Mart country. We voted Bush in this part and won it for the state.
My judge paid close attention to both sides and took detailed notes. Everyone who was involved commented on how good he was. Eric Scheibeler was there, he could tell you more.
If you read the decree, read between the lines. It only hints at all that was testified. She did not have stable employment, she chose Quixtar over required work functions. She had no family support as she had turned away from them because of Quixtar. All and I mean all of her friends were Quixtar people. She even had an "adopted" Quixtar mother, to replace her own. She was broke and in extreme debt, because she would rather spend on Quixtar tools and functions, rather than rent, food, baby food and supplies. She had at least two affairs with Quixtar guys, because they support her and tell her what she is doing is the right thing. One of these IBO guys and her adopted IBO mother, was at my childs birth, but she didn't bother to tell me for a week he was born, even though the judge had ordered her to previously. I could go on and on. The transcripts will tell all. And trust me she repeated verbatum the Quixtar pitch to the judge, saying the same things all IBOs do. The judge was smart enough to see the truth, it doesn't take a genious to see it's scam at best and a cult if you really investigate it.
Yeah Tony, please understand you and I weren't there. It's easy to say "You could save that marriage if you want to" as it may not be possible at all! Could be!
How do we know whether it’s possible or not? We weren't there.
I hope there is no divorce in your family, but if there is, would you like if some one says they could save their marriages, they just didn't.
What I have done is read all those court documents, and saved them. If Jona's dad ever been harassed by Quixtar pigs (Lawyer) you be sure I'll do my best to support him.
Tony, I offer the same support to you. If you want to start a blog or any thing online, you have my support. I'm an IT nerd so I can help you with some blog etc. And no, it's not a sales pitch :) I have done it before for IBOs, and for free.
Jonas dad, was Steve Hassan in your trial?
Tony, were you referring to the movie 'Private Benjamin' by chance with this quote:
"Sarge, do you really think its a good idea to march today, it is the cold and flu season".

If I am wrong then maybe it was Stripes, but this reminds me of Pvt. Benj.
Thanks,
Clifford
I called Steve Hassan. Steve no longer testifies, he has been overwhelmed with requests to do so. He referred me to Cathleen Mann from Colorado. I was told she was the best I could get to testify in the country. She is Steve's internet discussion group's moderator. They discussed my case, and he sent his book with her to give to me. Of course, Eric Scheibeler got "deprogramming" help from Steve long ago. It was interesting that Cathleen called me and said she had heard of Eric and thought he might be able to help, coincedently he had already agreed to help me that same day. They were both very instrumental, the judge discussed their testimony in his final ruling as key testimony.
Tony>And theres reasons why they can't sell in the can or "on the go", etc. It's to protect the average IBOs from someone with connections getting it in at a large retailer.
Inquiring mind>Oh no, imagineLETTING THE PUBLIC decide if XS is a good product or not!!
Imagine my profit if my uncle managed a Walmart and sold it by the case there! But then that screws the average IBO retailing it to customers!
Aren't the customers your bottom line? Isn't XS a product that you benefit most people? Don't most companies LIKE to get exposure? Correct me if I'm wrong, (and I'm sure you will!) but didn't XS flop whenit was out in the "regular" market? It only has had the success it has because so many fervent AQ followers have been "persuaded" to buy it by the caseful?
Tony> And have you even heard of the Gift Albums?? How can you say the only thing saleable is some of the B2B stuff! The gift albums are awesome!!
IM> OK some of the stuff can be good. The jewelery booklet and the "Choices" booklet I've liked. The other booklets have had a lot of cheap junk in them, though. I've even seen many of the identical items at Osco or Walgreens for half the cost of the booklets themselves. Yes, I know, you can send the items back, and I have, even more than once for one booklet. After a while, you get tired of sending stuff back and just settle with what you get, realizing that it was a cheap gift.
The travel booklets seemed really appealing at first. My family and I were excited to use ours on a trip to DC. Un fortunately, none of the times we wanted to use it worked at all. We had to give it back to our in-laws and have them turn it in for a refund. Needless to say, they were disappointed and lost "points" that month.
I've often been tempted to get the booklets for my family for Christmas, but after examining their contents, I just go with gift certificates. This lets THEM pick out what they want from a store and gives them many more options.
Tony,
Yes, the 'my daddy' arguement was a little weak. Oh well. I stand by that your typical bar will turn away from XS because of the cost.
I don't know about you, but I spent 4 years working in restraunts (that is how I paid for school WITHOUT incurring debt...TIP!!!!). It is all about the food cost in every one I have worked. This includes the fancy places with the exception of your very high end places.
inquiring mind - I'm sorry - I disagree. I don't think the stuff is crap, and I think Album A which I can get for like $13 dollars is worth wel more than that! All I know is I'm got a downline who's sold $7000 to a company, and I know a woman who has made $65,000 off the sale of albums in 2 years! Doesn't sound like those companies buying the albums share your opinion.
And X - how do I get this thru your head, maybe I should write it in Aramaic! If XS cost .40CENTS more per can, you simply Charge more per can! All BEERS don't cost the owners the same - thats why they charge different prices!! They DO the same for XS. There are several bars in my town selling it! Only more are gonna start carrying it!
And iq'mind - i already explained why they can't sell it in the can or at a grocery store! Can you read?? This business was designed to give the average person the chance to own a business(putting it in a grocery store kills that), it also gives the business a unique advantage over other stores, if they advertised like other companies, then they'd just be "in the mix" with all the other companies, competing at that level- they no longer compete on the same level having to fight for TV/magazine space.
They had the idea to open it up to PEOPLE to do the advertising and share the profit with them.
XS wasn't even on the market very long when they became exclusive to Quixtar, but lets go with your argument - what does that say about the power of our Marketing base, that we can take a no name product, and make it the #1 domestically produced energy drink in the country! Thats why companies like Disney, IBM, Circuit City etc. want to do business with us!
With IBO's buying XS by the caseful, I can easil;y imagine why XS's sales are as high as they are. Who else buys energy drinks in such quantity on a regular basis but IBOs.
"...then they'd just be "in the mix" with all the other companies, competing at that level- they no longer compete on the same level having to fight for TV/magazine space."
Heaven forbid trying to get the word out about a product in an efficient way to the general public. You can make so much more by keeping all the minions, I mean IBO's on ditto delivery with their truck loads of XS each month. My bad.
I am curious. If XS is the #1 domesticaly produced energy drink in the country, why is it so many people that I've spoken to have never heard of it?
Ok Joecool,
go to your local Wal mart and tell me how many you can get in a case? The last time I checked it was 4 cans at walmarts price of $6.50 each!
It might be different at Costco, but then don't you have to be a wholesale member of Costco? Interesting thought.
Maybe because XS doesn't advertise like Red Bull does! Unless they know an IBO, they probably wouldn't know about it. But that doesn't change the fact that they move more cans than anyone but RedBull, which is made in Belgium, I believe or Austria? But as for US manufactured Energy drinks, XS is #1.
Did you also know Quixtar is the #1 Beauty site on the web, and also the #1 Health site? The fact that you didn't know that, doesn't really change the fact that they are though, does it?
Ok, so Quixtar is the #1 beauty and health site on the web. What exactly does that mean, that you get the most hits a day, or that you do the most business a day for a business on the internet? Also, who determines this rating? I'm not trying to be accusative, just trying to understand the power there is in the claim you are making.
I guess I just have a problem understanding how Quixtar can be so highly acclaimed in the all the areas youstate when people that I talk to seem to fall into one of the two following catagories.1) NEVER heard of Quixtar or any of the many product lines it uses, or 2) have DEFINITELY heard of it and avoid it like the plague.
There is the slim number of people in a 3rd category that I know who are IBO's that are diligently "plugged in," that are going to donate millions of dollars to our church and other charities once they are "free."
But if so many people are buying XS, wouldn't more people in general be aware of its existance since it is so successful? If it is making such a big splash here in the US, i would expect at least some non ibo's to have at least heard of it.
#1 beauty site on the web? The only reason could possibly be is due to the built in consumer base...IBO's!! You own your business...so buy through your business right? Thats the mantra...so sure you have all these people buying the products because they want that golden ring of PV....and they stock up because hey you need that PV each month irregardless of whether you truely need the product. I would say the same about the XS...only IBO's are getting it...its like saying the Catholic Church and their members are the #1 consumer of rosery beads. Whoopie, they are the ones that need it and use it.
P.S. IMO Rockstar far surpasses XS in flavor and energy.
Just go to QuixtarFacts.com to see the info about the #1 rating in health & beauty.
Dawson- weak analogy with rosary beads! Are muslims buying rosay beads, no. Do rosary beads have some form of competition? No, you picked an entire product, not 1 brand!
XS is 1 brand of energy drink, and IBOs aren't the only ones drinking energy drnks, now are they?! Lots of people drink energy drinks, and use make-up/cosmetics, etc. And of all the energy drinks manufactured in the US, XS is #1!
And of all the sites that sell beauty related products, and health related products, Quixtar is #1 also, per Business 2.0 and Internet Retailer. Check the link!
Oh, and thanks for sharing YOUR OPINION.
Tony, I heard of and tried Rockstar, Red Bull...etc because they are nationaly marketed products. XS was introduced because the guy I knew in AmQuix was drinking one because its a good PV source and you guys are always on the lookout for that.
You can say that XS is #2 in sales, but my argument is if you can't advertise it, have it sitting out on shelves or even pour one in front of a customer at a bar, then the main base of consumption is probably from the IBOs.
Its Quixtars IBO Koolaid, so thats fine, I just think your kidding yourselves on its success in the actual consumer world. It has good PV and is edible so I am sure IBO's like yourself stock up and drink plenty at those late night meetings. Congrats man, thats great.
And hey, your WELCOME for my opinion.
Oh, you can pour it in front of someone in a bar, you just can't sell it by the can! Think XS is unknown though huh, well
XS was featured at the MTV Movie Awards, and is even in a movie!! And it Is ranked right behind Redbull by the Beverage Network! Here's a few links for ya...

Check out the new apparel and see the "Energy Amplified" T-shirt, the one Pauly Shore is holding up in the 2nd link.

I love when you critbots downplay how big XS is becoming. Fine you drink Rockstar, and not get paid for it. I'll drink & promote XS, sell it to bars and fintess centers and actually earn income from it! But whatever...
I don't know, since I stopped ordering it myself I have not seen one can of it anywhere. Excepting of course thier booth on that link that Tony pasted on a bunch of posts.
Yeah, I tried three of the sites Tony told us about, and my computer must be "Quixtar Challenged," because I wasn't able to bring up any of the sites. I kept getting "Page inable to be displayed" message.
The only time I ever see a can of SX is when it has been in the hans of my IBO acquaintances, as well. To be honest, though, I'm not around people who drink any type of energy drink in the first place, so my perceptions may be somewhat skewed.
One thing I find interesting is that my IBO inlaws swear by XS even though until their affiliation with Quixtar, they had never had an energy drink in the first place. My Mom-in-law loves Artistry, but has never really tried any other type of skin care product line, so of course, she will see a marked improvement in her skin's appearence.
One thing that becoming aware of Quixtars products has done for me is to show me that there are some really good products out there on the market right not that I wouldn't have tried if it hadn't been for the AQ products that IBOs have shown me. I read lables and have found several lines of protein bars that cost half as much as AQ's and actually tast great! I'm now into soy and other protein products, so Thanks Quixtar for showing me what is out on the market!!
>> Chat rooms, a more dynamic way of communication, has been around for much longer but I don't see conferences on chatting?
Because chatrooms suck.
hey, iquiringmind, try again, only this time remove the space " " between the http and the www.
See this blog screens and blocks (for review) any post that has more than 3 or 4 links, so if you seperate the address, it'll allow you to post. And since you guys always want proof, I needed to post a few links. Hope this helps.
Gear up for grub with a tripleheader of pigskin, including a meeting of brothers in Dallas. Everybody knows it's been a rough year for her, but find out who else had issues
I babysit for a Quixtar IBO family and they have about 11 different babysitters. They also work other jobs to support their business. The kids are always sad that their parents are never home. The business seams suspicious to me. I think it its an interesting sales tactic for you cult members to always negatively discuss other products on the market. I love sugar-free red bull, and every time you discredit it, you are discrediting me... Now tell me why I would want to buy from someone who treats me like that? I have tried Xs, and I do like the yellow can version... but I prefer red bull aside from the health benefits. If you want to be successful salespeople learn to talk positively about other products and then explain why yours is better. Discrediting your client will get you no where! The only other problem I have with it is that it is never okay to put a business before your family!!!
