Happy April Fool's Day

By QBlog in

I love April Fool's Day. It's such a fun day. A day where one is expected to play pranks. How cool is that?

The Prank
In case you missed it (shame on you) I configured the Quixtar BLOG to redirect to Quixtar.com. The result — anyone visiting Quixtar BLOG ended up at the Quixtar.com Web site.

Ha ha! Funny stuff. You're laughing right? Well, I know some of you are laughing because you told me. Below are a few comments sent in by Quixtar BLOG readers:

From Sam B.

Am a dedicated Quixtar Blog reader. Tried also to contact you at the webraw.com contact page. When I visit the quixtarblog.com and webraw.com/quixtar websites, I am automatically directed to the quixtar.com "official" site. Have you been hacked? Please advise.

Nope, not hacked though I do appreciate your concern Sam. And thanks for being a dedicated reader!

From Ex-dd

Hey why does your webraw/quixtar site get redirected to Quixtars site?

Check your calendar Ex-dd ;o)

From Your Boy Fleak

You funny bastard. Your link to Quixtar made me laugh out loud...so much so that an email congratulations was absolutely necessary. Very clever.

That's what I was hoping for Fleak. Lots of laughter. Glad you liked it.

From Chris A.

Enjoy your day, my Blogging friend... you had me for a good 45 seconds. It was pretty early (6am) to panic, but my heart raced a bit. Nice one.

God, I hope you don't have heart problems Chris. That would forever gnaw at my conscience if you had a heart attack from my April Fool's prank.

From B.V.

Hi, as I've noticed your blog pages have been redirected to a quixtar.com website. Since I have had a lot of joy reading your blog pages I'm willing to offer you free hosting of your blog pages at my website.

Regards,
B.V.
Husband to a current Amway IBO

Wow! Thanks B.V. That's very generous. I think I'll be fine but I am filing this offer away, you know, just in case ;o)

From Dorothy

I'm a couple hours behind you, and a little slow. I get it now. It won't be April Fools here until I wakeup in the morning although I do have a couple things planned for my kids.

Still want to know how you do that. Not that I'm starting my own blog or website or anything.

So, thanks for playing along. I hope nobody was fooled too much. Most seemed to get the joke pretty quickly. Others, well... I bet you're not fooled next year!

Have a happy April Fool's Day and play a few pranks.

QBlog:

You actually thought what you did was funny?

Personally, I'm getting sick and tired of coming onto this blog and conversing with all of the numbskull cons here who think they know what they're talking about, but really don't have a clue as to the real workings of the economy and the business world.

Maybe you've got a point there (redirecting to quixtar's website), QBlog. Maybe that was a hint in disguise for me to roll up my sleeves and give this quixtar business one more good solid try. I'm tired of getting pushed around on my job, and then having to come on here with all of the other losers who don't have anything better to do with their time then to criticize others who are out there and trying to make a better life for themselves and their families.

Good-bye everybody, and good riddance to this garbage blog that I have wasted so much of my time on during the last year or so.

Go DIAMOND!!

(Anyone got some Lysol? We've got some bathroom walls to scrub...)

;-)

Well, I'll say this:

If someone on the Q fence thinks that spending time HERE is a waste of time, then going Diamond or going broke trying may well be their best bet.

What's more, I say to all the pro-Q IBOs out there:

Just TRY and "put us out of business" by giving us nothing more to talk about. Think about it - if Q worked the way it's promoted, we here would just dry up & blow away - we wouldn't have anything left to bash! But it doesn't work, now does it?

So go ahead & plow headlong (with Q blinders on) on the Diamond Freedom trail. We'll be here when you get back. And honestly, we do hope that you make it back . . . . with bank accounts, homes, hopes, dreams, marriages, and families intact.

p.s. I thought the joke this morning was HILARIOUS!!! I've told people about it all day. We ex-and-anti-Q folks have a sense of humor, no?

You bet your life I will! And I am going to be bringing my good friends Camac, Mike Nielsen, Jennifer Lee, and Insider along for the ride.

In closing, I'd like to wish all of the cons here to not let the door hit you's in your asses on the way out of the boss's office.
And before I finally finish my electrifying diatribe on this matter, I have one more thing to say to all of you's.

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY EVERYBODY!!!
(Not that I did a good job of it to begin with)

WAIT A MINUTE!

I think I may have fooled Chris here.

Thanks Chris!

To be honest, I had to get even somehow, because admittedly, I was fooled by QBlog's trick!

Or re: Chris, did I just get fooled again by having the tables turned on me?

I was fooled, too. Even emailed Scott Larsen to see what the heck was up!

You got me good, Qblog......as usual, I had the black helecopters circling, imagining that Quixtar had finally gotten to you, a-la the radio station DJ in "The Stand".
Great April Fools Trick!!!

make that "helicopters"

I emailed Larsen as well.....I'll bet he really enjoyed the prank!!

Could this be an April Fool's day joke on the folks at Quixtar? For one day they get a surge in hits on their website.

I admit to checking in several times just to see if Qblog had cornered some renegade Qwhacker.

I also got some paraniod messages here
http://tinyurl.com/3lzuf

Check this out:

did quixtar mess with internet sites again? a lot of quixtar blogs i try to go to are redirecting me to the quixtar homepage. have you heard of quixtar- one man's perceptions? ...it redirects to quixtar.com . well it's kinda annoying. i figure you might know, cuz you're a blogger.

Blogger clan are we!

Btw u got me! for good 1 minute. I thought u were hacked.

Yes Arby, there might be another Server Meltdown and Orrin the Integrity Woodward can edify it big time.

Uh, no, Joe Scammer. The tables were NOT turned on you. I got GOT! That's TWICE for me today!! I need to wise up for the next few hours . . . . or hide out and not get FOOLED again!

Some days, it doesn't take much.

BTW, a pal of mine works for the pet supply company that my wife runs. He's in charge of all the stores. He's been there 1 month. This morning, he sent out an official memo stating that due to an error, BABY ALIGATORS had been delivered to the HQ, and could not be returned. All 11 stores were to be on the lookout for a Custom Critical Care FedEx containing the gators, care instructions, and marketing/display info. FYI, we live in Minneapolis. Gators? Minnesota?

6 out of 11 managers freaked out & called immediately, 2 were confused, and 3 checked the calendar before responding with a chuckle.

I was definitely "HAD". I worried all day. I needed to get my daily fix!

Extend arm. Insert IV.

Actually, I didn't think that QBlog had been hacked. I thought that maybe it was a google error, being that the webraw url that QBlog uses has the name "quixtar" in it, and hence the entire address was then erroneously rerouted to the quixtar website due to some software error on google's part.

I was pretty sure I knew what was going on. I will admit though, I was concerned that maybe Quixtar made QBlog an offer he couldn't refuse for the domain name.

I dunno. If I was him, I could blog under another domain name for a couple mill. It would look after my family, and provide a better life for me, maybe?

Just a thought I had in the back of my head, although I was pretty sure that this was not the case.

Glad you still are with us, dude. I thought somebody slipped some acid into my morningg coffee.

Good One.

Well, I suppose I'll relate my morning story regarding the Great Qblog Prankster.

I signed on this morning and received an email from Josh The IBO, who visited here a couple weeks ago. He asked me was I having problems with Qblog. He wrote the email at some point in the night, and so I responded that it was working for me as of my bedtime.

Then I received an IM from someone asking me had I been to Qblog this morning.

I said no but quickly checked it out.

And then another email arrived from my blog comments asking about the Qblog link not working and redirecting to the site.

I'm not sure why everyone would think I was "in the know", but after I figured the great Qblog had played an April Fools joke, I tried to let them know, not to worry, That I was sure Qblog was not going to be re-directed for very long.

My only complaint was I really wanted to read the forum this morning and Qblog News and couldn't get in through any other extension.

BTW, I'm sure all the folks at Quixtar appreciated the increase in traffic...maybe it was enough to increase their rankings.

What's sad/funny is that the big Q will probably post a memo or communikate or whatever to their brainwashed masses about today -- record hits, keep paddlin', etc. etc.

Kind of funny, the memo, not the prank itself.

Man, we don't typically see this many comments on real topics. Sheesh...

Mike

Good one Q!!!

I should of know, since my sons b-day is april 1st.
MLMSCAM..go get your pacifier

Today, I realized I'm addicted to QBlog. I was so upset I couldn't have my daily fix...I was ready to send the war rally call at my blog sight. I was going to call a hacker buddy of mine to take out Quixtar's sight. I left work early at lunch just to see if someone had busted the hacker. Then, as I was checking the other blogs, Sinking in Quixand helped me realize what a FOOL I am. I'm just glad your back!

That's what I'm here for.

Just kiddin'

www.sinkinginquixand.blogspot.com

You've got me !
Not to mention the rage I've felt when I was redirected to Quixtar.com front page. Anyway what I've also learnt was how useful are those Google cached pages ...

QBLOG-

I hope you had fun with this nonsense....

More than you'll ever know ;o)
