Questions For IBOs

By QBlog in

I have a couple of questions that I'd only like Quixtar IBOs to answer. If you're not currently an active Quixtar IBO in good standing the please don't comment. I reserve the right to remove the comments of those I suspect don't meet those qualifications. Thanks.

Questions

  1. Are IBOs required to sell products to non-IBOs?
  2. Does giving your children Quixtar products count as product sales to consumers?
  3. What happens, if anything, if an IBO doesn't sell any products to non-IBOs in a given month?
  4. Do you sell products to non-IBOs and if so, what is the average PV you receive on those sales each month?
  5. If you sell products to non-IBOs, do you usually mark up the price or sell them at cost?
  6. How often, on average, would you say you're told to sell products to non-IBOs?

Thanks again.

1. The simple answer is no. You aren't really required. You aren't gonna be kicked out if you do nothing. But if you want a bonus, rules say you have to sell.

2. That sounds like a gift, instead of a sale. If my kids want something from the catalog and they spend their own money, I'd consider it a sale.

3. He doesn't make any retail profit

4. yes, my clients average about $40 dollars per.

5. I sell at retail, usually. Some situations clients will receive a discount.

6. Our training site has "static" posts on retailing.

1. Required? No. But I would assume that since they got into the business to make money, they need to sell some stuff! If they don't retail 50PV/$100, they will only receive a bonus on their personal volume. The sad truth is, that IBO's in general are receving little training on how to effectively market, promote and sell their line of products, making them weak and susceptible to "buy from your" MLM mentality. BWW thankfully has MANY PEP seminars and Wealth and Wellness Seminars in the next few months. Guess what?! My upline is promoting it!

2. What David said.

3. He doesn't get paid on downline volume, and of course, no retail profit.

4. This has been our best month so far at 56PV from clients and memners. About $120 in sales!

5. I always mark up the price, unless they order online, and are members. We also sell to family at our cost.

6. Told to sell? Rare to none. Encouraged to gain clients and members? Occasionally.

Can I qualify as a very-recently-but-now-former IBO??

1. Amway rules say you must, to receive a bonus check
2. It really helps if your "kids" are married and have a different last name!!!
3. See #1 - however.... if you are NOT on Direct Fullfillment, you'll most likely get a bonus check via your upline
4. I usually managed +/- 100 PV per month to customers
5. Sold at cost
6. Wasn't part of an AMO; so was very aware of retailing requirements

1. Don't know - but it helps.
2. If they pay for it, it is a sale.
3. Nothing much.
4. PV turns out to be 30PV.
5. Usually wholesale.
6. Twice weekly!
