Complaint Against Dexter Yager

I recently obtained a copy of a Complaint filed in Kent County Michigan against Dexter Yager. The complaint was filed in July, 2000, and makes some serious claims about Quixtar Diamond Dexter Yager's behavior during a photography session with "IBOA" board members.
7. During the time photographs were being taken, Defendant Yager intentionally, unlawfully, and repeatedly touched Plaintiff in a sexually suggestive manner, including putting his arms around her, fondling her neck, and pinching her in the genital area.
According to the Court Docket, the lawsuit was settled out of court and no details of that settlement are available.
The Court Documents pertaining to this case are public record. I contacted the Kent County Court, simply requested them and paid the nominal fee ($1 per page). Any U.S. citizen may do the exact same thing (and possibly non-citizens but I'm not sure about that). It's your right. There is absolutely nothing that the Plaintiff, the Defendant, the court or anyone else can do to prevent you from reading and distributing this document. It's public record. It's in the public domain. According to the U.S Congress and the U.S. Constitution this document belongs to the people. Always keep that in mind.

What I read in Merchants of deception about his weird sex talks to the emeralds and diamonds explains a lot.

This doesn't surprise me at all - when one is "edified" to deity status, one probably thinks they can get away with whatever they want.
I should send a thank you letter to Dex - after hearing his diatribe at an FED, I was convinced to free myself from the biz as his values are anything but "Christian".

I don't in any way mean to defend Yager, but why did this person lose her job over it? "loss of job" is listed as one of the wrongs.

I think that's pretty obvious. The woman apparently spurned his sexual advances and got axed as a result.

Quixtar, IBOAI and Dexter are all partner in crime. They'll cover even some king pin molests a child, or kill a person.
This should be an eye opener to all Pro Quixtar ppl. Quixtar is the partner in crime. EVERY crime. If it was some other company and Dexter was in board of directors, he must be fired. But Quixtar can't get rid of him. He makes them a lot of money. So they have joined him, since 30 years!
Or may be he owns them ;)

I heard about them sex stories where he told the women to give their man plenty of sex so it would inspire them to build the business. I found out if you quit building the "business" you have a lot better sex life.

Dex is upline from 3/4ths or more of QUixtar IBOs.... problem is just many of them don't know it because of the Diamond in between. Orrin Woodward was a minion of Dexter Yager and was heavily promoting Dex until he broke off (withs some help I've been told) from Dex to start his own tools empire.

It's kind of hard to defend something public record like an ahem.. court document, for example. It's too much of a challenge for the Ambots... it would require independent thought. :)
heh, sexual harassment suit gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Yager U" if we make t-shirts..... kinda like "lewinsky" becoming a meaning for a "bj"....

How come in the public record it shows that no money was paid in the end? DOes that mean it was just a frivelous case, and she thought he would settle out of court real easy to avoid the embarrassment of being on trial as a pervert?
I was in Amway for five years and got nothing but broke. It's a big scam to sell overpriced products and tools and keep the hype going to secure the profits at the top. Yager is a womanizer.
My parents were in this business, and they always had good support from the people in it. I always felt them to be good people. I bet most people in this business know nothing of these allegations. Not to support Yager or anything, but how could he have done those things in a room full of people? Maybe they setteled out of court because it couldn't be proven one way or the other.
I think this people that are complaining about dexter yager are just a buch of quiters. do u ever think of what u r actually in quixtar for is not only for the money is what u learn so if u dont know what to say dont say n e thing.
All people are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. It sounds to me that this lady was out to sue someone with a lot of money.
Wow! i do have to comment! i have met Dexter personally! i am not in the business; he is a great man that has helped many people! i will never forget what he told me when i asked him @ the end of the day what was his mission? he replied " to win souls to christ" i mean come on he does have a playful side & guess if he touched her it was not meant in an unclean manner; in fact she probably did not know how 2 take him as he is a charcter.... i mean he pinched me to goose me in a proffesional playful manner, of course it was not near the private area, i guess if it was the case she moved & it was an accident!!!! some of these comments are evil! dont we have better things to do then try to hurt other people?? i guess not! in a world full of evil.... hey Dex keep rockin! u r the best in my book!
I personally met and knew Dexter Yager.
I was in the business from 1972 till about 1980, with my first (and ex) wife.
We had been out of college for two and one years respectively. We were married in 71, and longed to escape the realities of working in an urban setting and return to student life at Penn State. A mutual friend from college invited us to a meeting to find out about a fantastic new lifestyle he was enjoying. We were hesistant at first, but couldn't find a reason to say no.
I'm not going to get into all the details of where it went, but there were many nights of cruising malls and other sites looking for contacts to expose to the buiness, once we had exhausted our repertoire of known folks. Month after month we travelled to seminars and rallies in New York state and NYC, New Jersey, Maryland, and North Carolina. We also purchased a load of cassette tapes and books, which was big business at the rallies. However, I don't think the motivational material business was ever the mainstay of income of major directs.
I had a pie chart showing the breakdown of the product sales dollar. There was a complicated system of PV and BV separate from the wholesale and retail prices of the products. There was an extra 3% we paid in top of the price of the product from our distributor, and this supposedly went upline. I never figured out why, since I often bought in case lots.
I found some things disturbing, and this must have been an issue with the company leadership as well. Being Jewish, I got the message that I not being a Christian was holding me back, and that I was somehow not "normal" like others. There was one meeting where the guest speaker used the term "Jew him down." I know that Rich tried to straighten out Dexter on this stuff, and the Amagram newsletter published an item called "Amway and the right to differ" attacking the evangelism present at some meetings, and how it was unethical and improper to bring folks to what they though was a business meeting, only to be harangued by this stuff.
In 1974 we moved from the Philadelphia area, near our sponsor and source of products, to Maryland. I had gotten a new engineering job in a community much nicer than the Phila area. Then I saw the job as a temporary necessity on the way to becoming a wealthy Direct in Amway. In some ways I did better in Maryland because I restricted myself to a limited line of products, which I ordered directly from the warehouse. Till then, I was spending a fortune UPSing cleaning products from my sponsor. I was losing big! I could never figure out why they couldn't make some kind of local arrangement.
Looking back I think the business enabled a lot of tension and conflict between my ex wife and I. We blamed each other for our frustrating failure to become Double Diamonds in the time we were in. We heard this guest speaking couple where it was said, "Behind every successful man in Amway there's a woman, and hopefully it's his wife." That got in my mind and I used that line to blame her for various failings, and I think that set the seeds of her insecurity with the marriage. I am also convinced it was a big factor in us not having children during our 12 years together in marriage, since we were constantly waiting to become wealthy and independent enough to buy an estate and provide some ideal home. She was in fear that I would abandon her due to some failing.
Our sponsor from the Phila area, another Jewish guy, got involved with what was then called the Hebrew Christian movement. He put us on their mailing lists and started to evangelize us with phone calls and junk mail. We told him to knock it off, and keep dealings to business only. He did.
I got interested in making films in 1976, and based on the motivation I learned in Amway, started a filmmaking business in 1978. My ex did help with that somewhat and was enthusiastic, since she had a journalism degree. The business actually was much more profitable than what we did with Amway because we weren't responsible to an upline, just our customers. There was no dealing with an upline supplier, just Eastman Kodak, and the makers of our cameras and sound gear.
We made no specific decision to quit Amway. Business dwindled, as it made less and less sense to put hours in for about the $5 a month we would earn, when the movie busines was doing well. Getting into wedding video in 82 gave it a really big influx of money, so we just didn't bother to renew our distributorship.
I credit the business with getting me off the bent of making excuses for not being successful, and learning the value of being self employed, and for showing me a different slant on that 60's era political liberalism that I feel is bad for our country. That view got me into starting a moviemaking business for myself, rather than trying to break into it by working free for some other filmmaker.
My first wife and I separated in 1983 and were formally divorced 18 months later. In that time I got a masters in engineering, and developed my business. I remarried a wonderful person in 1988 and vowed never to make any part of our relationship contingent on her committment to and participation in my video/photo business. Thank goodness she got on the bank accounts fast because I never balanced my checkbook. Sometimes she comes on a Bar Mitzvah or wedding video gig if she's friendly with the client and it's a nice party. She is technically not a partner in the business, and is quite successful with her own job.
I took early retirement in 1996 when my engineering job was to move 50 miles away, to be a stay at home dad for our son. My video/photo biz helped with that, and my wife was not only behind that but insistent. "You MUST retire!"
Sometimes I am regretful over the many years lost when I see contemporaries with larger families and grandkids arriving. But overall, I feel very blessed that I got a second chance at family life with a great new person and finally become a dad. I cherish the independence to run my business my way, devoid of cultism. I don't have to hide the nature of the business from anywone. (I make HD videos. I make digital photographs. Simple as that!)
We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary and our son will be entering college next year, and has great talent and promise. I am very lucky.

What dex did I do not know. But if Bill Clinton can have two terms, you do not need to quit, because you are in a business that can give you FINANCIAL FREEDOM. do it for Your family, not for Dex or Bill/Pegyy or anyone else..

this yager and his diciples are in the business of pushing tapes, books and seminars like a crack dealer on the corner, but these guys do it with suits on and in the name of their "God". Needless to say, my HUNDREDS of their system tapes along with their "suggested" books will be going on sale at ebay.
