Monday Reader Mail: 33
By QBlog in Reader Mail
If it's Monday then it must be time for Reader Mail! What is Reader Mail? It's where real emails sent in by real readers are featured for you to print out, copy and use to line your birdcage. As always, my comments appear in bold.
name: Happy IBO
date: February 25, 2005
message: The only way you can know what this business is really about is being a part of it. Now, you (former husband) were never active so you really have no idea how much support you find here. It's not just about the money, it's about the people you meet and all the friend you make.
Lonely? Friendless? Join Quixtar where you'll meet interesting people and make new friends!
It's about the good times you enjoy with your partner while showing The Plan.
I can't think of a better way to spend time with my spouse on a Friday night.
It's about the possibility it offers you to, in 2-5 years, not 65 years, obtain a passive income.
The old 2-5 year plan. Does the FTC know about the 2-5 year plan?
Who said you have to wait until you are 65 to retire? To those of you that think this business does not work, you are right, it does not work... YOU have to make it work. And YOU have to pay the price.
What is the price again? I missed that part.
It's not easy finding three winners, that's why you get paid $120,000 a year!
Classic. Ending with an income claim.
Does Happy IBO's comments sound familiar?
Comments
Q-12 Founders Platinum, 6 wide @ 1200 each = $60k/year with 1st time bonuses.
3 winners (Q-12 Founders Platinum) will yield a leadership bonus of 3 x 7500 PV x 2.8 BV/PV x 4% x 12 months = $30k.
Emerald also receive emerald bonuses, profit-sharing, emerald trip, and some 1st time bonuses. That'll add up to $110k.
Remove the first time bonuses and it'll be $90k.
Mind elaborating on where all the expenses are that will eat up all $90k gross?
Jennifer7lee,
Just so we're all clear, are you suggesting that the income claims you just presented are based on selling product as shown in the plan?
How how many out of 100 IBO's reach Q-12 founders platinum? I'm not asking why people don't, just for the number of IBO's that do. We can discuss why the numbers are so poor later, but just pretend you are a Vegas handicapper, and let's set the odds for a new IBO making Q-12 founders platinum.
Yeah, you gotta 'pay the price' all right. It's true - I will admit that if you go in with the attitude that 'whatever it takes' - you have a greater chance of success. Not much maybe, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, most of us aren't willing to do 'whatever it takes' because the overall cost is too great....loss of friends & family, family fights, loss of $$, loss of self, loss of critical thinking skills, loss of association of anyone NOT in the business, loss of true family vacations, loss of the joy of watching your kid's activities (dance recitals, sports, hobbies), loss of personal hobbies, loss of freedom to be oneself, and substantially LESS time spent with family (yes, even AFTER you retire...you trade in day care for a nanny...what's the difference if someone else is watching your kid in the am or pm????), just to name a few...
I'll find some other opportunity, thank you - the cost of this one is simply too great.
Just what I needed on a busy Monday morning: a little positive motivation from a fired-up A/Qbot ready to take on the world!
To think, I'm missing out on all of that PMA.
Seriously, though- it's nice to have something exciting in your life that helps you get out of bed every morning with the thought that "I could really do it-retire in 2-5 years." Unfortunately, Q is like racing a tricycle in a NASCAR event.
$120K income from a shallow Emeraldship? Not without tools money, to be sure. I'd love to be able to "retire" on that- hell, it's hardly my expense account :-)
The pro Quixtar message is full of contradictions:
This is not a 'get rich quick' scheme
versus
You will retire on a huge residual income within 2-5 years.
Flush that stinking job!
versus
You have to work this business extremely hard for it to succed.
You can be your own boss of your own independent business
versus
Never question your upline. Your upline is god. Do as your upline tells you!
Confused?
There are so many other ways for you and your spouse to enjoy time with other people. Imagine taking the time to spend with your friends, having fun, without having to coerce them into The Plan. As for the support, would all these people who are your friends be as supportive if you chose to use all you've learned to begin some other type of business?
Unfortunately I believe that there are many people out there who do not get the support, friendship, and kudos from their collegues in their present vocations. That's where AmQuix has certainly found its niche. It is great for people who
1) have no idea what they really want to do with their life
2) have no support system to speak of
or
3) Realize that there are people referred to in 1 and 2 whom they can get to follow their lead and make money for them.
Scenarios 1 and 2 make for very vulnerable followers. (Or should I say "teachable"?
Your awfully quiet Jenifer7lee.
It was one question and I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for the answer.
A simple yes or no will do.
Did Happy IBO say "former husband?"
Must have Qblog confused with Jonas' Dad.
Yes. Good catch Don. I totally missed that. D'oh. I'm the husband of a former IBO, not a Former Husband.
Wait,.....
I'm almost positive that Happy IBO was misspeaking. That person actualy meant the 'farmer husband'.
After all IBO's usually don't make mistakes and usually never seem to get things wrong.
Geeeezzz
Thry even don't have to think, that's what the Upline and Functions and Tapes are for.
Cliff
Ahem,
Jennifer Lee?
Hello?!
Don't worry, your non-answers speak volumes.
I just went to a Quixstar meeting tonight. I cant stand the way these people get you to come to their meetings. My co-worker (that I dont know very well) asked me if I wanted to "hang out" after work. He told me to come to his house and to bring my friends. I thought to myself,, Ok,, So me and 5 of my buddies picked up 3 cases of High Life and went to go meet up with him. I drank 6 beers before I got to his place and my friends were gettin buzzed too. We knocked on his door and next thing we know we go into this room with 4 other people getting a lecture with a marker board. We just sat down and kept gettin drunk. My co-worker who invited me to come "hang out" gives me this note book to take notes during the lecture. I eventually used the booklet to draw naked pictures and make a few paper footballs. I even made a paper hat but my drunk friend knocked it off my head, so after that I had to pay him back with a little dose of pouring my beer on his paper hat. My co-worker had to stop his lecture to tell us to settle down many times. I told him "Hey we are just hagning out with you besides you are the one that invited us over and we are your guests." By the end of the "hanging out" session with my co-worker we had drank 2 and half cases of High Life and I won 3 games of paper football and I got a couple stikes in Beer Can bowling,, actually I only got one strike after I threw my friend against the table for telling me that I would not be able to get 3 people to sign up. I didnt get the opportunity to sign myself up for quickstar but I am looking foward to the next meeting. Im brining 5 buddies and 4 cases of High Life next time. Who ever invites people to these quickstar meetings needs to explain to people what they really mean when they lie to people and con them into comming over by saying "Hey, you wanna come over and "Hang Out". Because I bring the whole crew and we just love to take part in those great business meetings. I cant figure it out but my co-worker wouldnt let me sign up. I feel so rejected,, oh well,, there will be other meetings,, or maybe I can go "Hang Out" withe the Am-Way crew, I hear they are so friendly.
F*ck Quickstar

Slow and Painfull Star, u da man :D:D Most hillarious thing I've read.
Any one who invites the ppl deserves that.
I mean invite by deception.
Heard a new one recently. Some desi(slang for Asian Indians) contacted me in Walmart about a 'Wonderful' business opportunity.
Here is the conversation.
Ambot: Are you interested in making some etra money
me: sure what is it about?
Ambot: We are partnerring with fortunre 500 companies like Sony, Circuit city in re-channeling the distribution efforts Blah Blah
Me: Is it Amway?
Ambot: What is Amway?
(I was shocked)
Me: Is this quixtar?
Ambot: Mumbles something and walks away
I guess they are teaching these robots pretend as if they don't know what is Amway.
Parsad, they are teaching IBOs to answer question with a qustion. It was taught in EVERY QUEST, now known as PASE. And it was specifically taught when u hear "Is it amway" to counter with "what do u know about amway" and it was also taught that ppl have so many misconceptions about amway that it's hillarious. Well it was not, ppl knew exactly what amway was.
Hey Imran,
I know answering question with a question. I lost some money and important time of my life in this scam. But it seems now they are teaching the new IBOs pretend as if they don't know what AMWAY is.. Hence when I asked Is it Amway, the response is 'What is Amway?'
Sometimes I feel like all these Shah, kumar, Gala etc mobsters and they just play with peoples lives.
Oh Well! thats my rant.. I was in Shah's group. Who was your upline diamond?
I was in Kumar->Kankan->Vishal line, Vishal was immediate diamond.
All u stinkin broke ppl who just keep criticising quixtar or amway for ur stupid idiotic excuses sure u r on this blog as people who make it will make it anyway. As far as Imran or any other idiot is concerned who didn make it or keep crying , keep crying as that's all u can do. Yes there are rules to business and we got to learn ppl skills. but go and check ur jobs where u r sitting on ur dumb machines and reading my message. Thank GOD for this great opportunity. U got to drive a car long enough before u become expert in it. People who didnt make it coz u lost it bigtime focussing on -ve all the time more than making it work. Go pay ur price and dont expect any loser or idiot who got no credentials other than criticizing and condeming others. All u winners go and get it done. The more u read these idiots the more slower u become in business. Yes it is MLM , Yes it is Pyramid, who gives a rip , It is workign for me coz I dont give a rip about u losers. We are GOING DIAMOND with breaking Herds of > all over the world coz that;s the only way u can shut these idiots. This is my promise to u losers and one day i m gonna shut ur stupid mouth. Dont expect any further answers from me and happy crying to all u loser and my dear fellow winners go and get the job done. U will know us and we will have fun on the beaches of the world with our kids and families because we are winners and we refuse to lose. cha cha u idiots. Lets suck it up and show this idiots. WINNER ALL THE WAY. PROUD TO BE A Q* IBO.
If anyone wants 2 have a conversation about the Quixtar business plan, email me at info@americandevelopment.biz I have yet 2 meet someone who can prove that this business is a scam. In fact, I have had 37 ppl remove their negative blogs from the internet because I got them 2 admit that they failed because of their own shortcomings, not because this business is a scam. Of course i asked them nicely 2 remove them, and when they refused i threatened 2 cut n paste our email exchanges on the blogs n expose them 4 the whining, non-personal responsible babies that they are. So if u think u got what it takes, bring it on. .
Happy "I"BO, you have serious issues man. You are one of the following
1- Incredibly naive
2- Not as sharp as your upline thinks
3- Full of it
Let me fill you in on a little secret that your upline will dismiss as stinkin' thinkin', or else tell you I "just don't get it"
There is NO POSSIBILITY of you retiring in 2-5 years by way of moving products through Quixtar.
You have a SLIM chance of being able to retire through moving motivation. SLIM as hell, mind you.
By the way, show me in the business plan where it says finding 3 winners will result in Quixtar paying you $120,000 a year.
In the words of DF, Baaaaaahh- baaaaahhh
You are not unique, you are just like all the other sheep.
