February XMas Decorations

By QBlog in

You know that neighbor who leaves his Christmas Decorations up till Valentine's Day. It's the same neighbor who leaves his Halloween jack-o-lantern on the front porch until it's a black, rotten mass of decay and fungus. Sometimes, during the summer, the grass in his front yard resembles the African Serengeti and in the fall it reminds you of a forest in Vermont.

Well, I believe that same neighbor is Quixtar's Webmaster. Joe Land was booted from Quixtar (ok, he resigned before being officially booted) last year. Today is February 5, 2005 and the official Quixtar Facts page still lists Joe and Lynn Land as leaders of an LOA called Alliance Net Solutions.

What is an LOA? According the Quixtar Facts page it's Lines Of Affiliation which are "organizations of Quixtar IBOs who share a similar business building philosophy and employ similar business building techniques." So, either Quixtar's Webmaster is asleep on the job (which would be just about right for Quixtar) or former Quixtar Diamond Joe Land is still leading an organization of Quixtar IBOs who share a "similar business building philosophy." In the Alliance Net Solutions LOA I assume that philosophy is "work in a competing MLM until Quixtar decides to kick you out and then do that other MLM full time."

Some of you may say, "So what? Big deal. Quixtar has an outdated page. It happens all the time." Yeah. Sure it does. Big sites are big projects. It's hard to keep every single page up to date. However, Quixtar seems quite competent when it comes to updating the page about IBOs who appeared on Dateline.

Interesting. Now, it's almost 10 p.m. Eastern on Saturday night. Let's see how long before Quixtar yanks Joe Land's name from their LOA page. The clock is ticking.

Man those niggas are slow

Thanks for reminding me. Gotta take down those Christmas lights during pre-game tomorrow. Don't want to miss half-time show. Might be another "wardrobe malfunction" and I need to get TiVo ready.

Christmas lights!?, I was wondering what that slime on my front porch was. Ah yes, Halloween!

I love that Quixtar response page. They have two glaring mistakes on it. I've written them numerous times, but they are uninterested in the truth.

1) They say that the Dateline show have material "lifted from a web site". As far as I know the material on Dateline was all original a new. The Greg Fredricks stuff was all new. The scenes from the function were all new. The interviews with Bo and Eric were all new. Tell us Quixtar, what was lifted from a web site?

2) They list that the asked me to remove stuff on occasion. That is false. I had removed the pictures days before they crashed my site the threatening my host with a lawsuit.

Yeah, that Quixtar cracks me up.

On the Dateline response page, they say that they advised my wife and me to file a formal complaint with Business Rules and Conduct and that we never did.

Liars!

We did, and their response was to send us a copy of the policy about which we were complaining. As if we needed to be informed of the policy...

Doh!

That's why we took that complaint and all subsequent ones upline rather than to the corporation. Unfortunately, we didn't know that our upline was lying to us, too, but he did a much better job of it.

BTW, they don't tell you that the complaint we filed was in 1995 and that we stayed in the business five years after lodging that complaint. Do they think we didn't know how to complain? Or was it that we knew complaints to the corporation would not be addressed, anyway?

The truth is that the corporation has no idea how many times we complained.

Gee, Q. My XMAS lights are still up, this is the first year that I've let 'em go until February.

OTOH, I've lost my equilibrium due to that nasty "event" that occured on 12/29/4. No chance of getting on a ladder for a few more months.

Happens.

Pls. don't think that all of us are deliberately being lazy...
