Terminate Business As Usual?

By QBlog in

"What the hell?"

Spend some time reading any of the scores of Quixtar-run Spam Blogs and you're bound to say, "What the hell?"

The blogs are part of a coordinated Google Bombing effort and plays a crucial role in Quixtar's Web Initiative. If you doubt my characterization of these spam-like blogs, check out the title of this blog:

Quixtar - Becoming Quixtar Diamond Distributors: Quixtar Diamond Terminate Business As Usual

The name of the blog is truly bizarre and more confusing than descriptive. "Becoming Quixtar Diamond Distributors" would seem to indicate that the blog is about people who are becoming Quixtar Diamonds. But it's not. It's about existing Diamonds like Billy Florence and Dexter Yager. Ok, so that's not such a big deal I guess. However, what does the phrase "Quixtar Diamond Terminate Business As Usual" mean? I don't know either but it makes no sense.

Who talks like that? I mean "Terminate Business As Usual?" What does that mean? And why would Quixtar name this blog with this long and confusing name? Well, it wasn't always named this way. In fact, it was recently renamed right about the same time Quixtar Diamond Joe Land's business was terminated.

So is Quixtar trying to inform, educate, assist or confuse? And do you think it's a coincidence that the blog is named "amquix.blogharbor.com" which is a direct rip of the "amquix.info" name. Or maybe Quixtar is finally admitting that it's really Amway with a new name?

Why So Bizarre?
Why would Quixtar act so strangely and foolishly on the Web? Some have suggested that it's an act of desperation. That Quixtar is experiencing its biggest slump in years (including the Amway years). That may explain the recent Kick Start recruitment promotion. The world may never know.

I don't understand, what are they trying to say? They lost me here.

Say I am a brainwashed IBO who don't read negative. I religiously believe that diamond is as secure as being Arab Sheikh or something. AND Quixtar puts a blog that a diamond quits business. And no no no, not only that. A Diamond quit business AS USUAL. So a Diamond ship was not worth it eh? A Diamond quit it as USUAL? This post is more negative and devastating then QBlog's posts here?

Lets save it, it'll be gone real soon. Btw I'm still amazed by them!

A couple of interesting thoughts about Quixtar and the slumping volume.

If Quixtar is indeed in the middle of the worst slump in years, how could one explain the record-breaking sales data? Because they are not true?

Anchor Partner Store, Office Max, stock just took a dump last week. Reports are that the "Max" is going to miss projections pretty dramatically. Quixtar used to hype the Partner Store relationship and Office Max figured heavily in the spin. We were told that, of Office Max's total business, Quixtar sales accounted for 48%.

Very odd title here.

And what evidence do you have (even hearsay) about Quixtar having a massive slump? I'd like to hear about it -- especially since the company has developed a massive overseas presence since my time in Amway.

I have no evidence to suggest that Quixtar is experiencing a slump. Just speculation and rumors. I don't think I said it was fact, but that some have suggested it was the case. Some have, but that doesn't make it fact.

I wonder how many Diamonds will come this year or how many will go?The truth is you don't know how many are still real Diamonds with the volume.

I know in perusing the WWDB website, the "Success Stories" are the same ones that have been there since I was first introduced in 2001. There have been only 2 additions during that time - and based on their 'stories' - they were IBOs in pre-Quixtar days.

Dear Don:

How do you explain the exclusivity of the following events:

1. Record sales for Q
2. Not 1 Diamond made since Q's inception

That's what I want to know! I think the "slump" that should be examined is the slump in Diamonds made by Q since 1999.

Record Sales?

I think what they've been doing is concentrating their sales on specific dates so they can say "Record Sales at Quixtar" and have people assume they're selling more and more when, in fact, their sales are slowly dropping and sales in between have fallen off.

As for the diamonds, I'd be curious how many Q lines of sponsorship have started doing the "taproot" concept bragged about by "TEAM" (was Team Of Destiny). Pile everyone deep, declare tons of new jewels while the Diamonds numbers stagnate (or even drop).

Plus -- I'd be curious how the LOS's are deployed there. If they're doing ToD stuff there, look for lots of directs with nothing in the way of other lines. In short, few new Diamonds from all that activity.
