Joe Land Speaks

Due to Joe Land's recent exit from Quixtar I felt it was time to share the infamous Land audio clips that were virtually erased from the Web over two years ago. The clips were part of a Web page produced by Scott Larsen in which Land was taken to task for apparently promoting some "misconceptions" about the business. Larsen's criticisms drew Land's ire and he filed suit against Larsen alleging defamation and copyright infringement.
I honestly don't know the final, legal result of that lawsuit but I do know that Larsen ultimately removed the audio clips and changed every mention of "Joe Land" on his site to "The Diamond." My assumption is that some sort of agreement was reached but that's only a guess. However, though the clips were removed from Larsen's site they were not removed from the hundreds (and possibly thousands) of hard drives around the globe that downloaded copies while they were available on the Web. And now, for the first time in nearly two years I'm offering the Joe Land Audio Clips for your listening pleasure.
But first, a couple of important notes.
- I did not get these audio clips from Scott Larsen. As I mentioned, these clips were on LOTS of hard drives.
- I'm offering the clips without commentary. Listen to them and make your own decision about what they may mean, if anything.
- Don't expect anything fantastic. These aren't sensational audio clips. They're just a Quixtar Diamond talking. Don't say I didn't warn you.
- Joe Land is no longer a Quixtar Diamond. That's an important thing to remember when listening to these clips.

My brother was involved in this crap for about 6 months before he learned that it is all a scam. I tried to warn him!!!
Just don't harrass his voice mail with vulgar insults about his wife day in and day out after this post and I'm sure you'll be all right.

Who insulted Joe with voice mails that were vulgar about his wife?
Doesn't it just put a pit in the bottom of your stomach listening to this? I remember saying similar things like this in the plan that I copied from our upline at the same time knowing they weren't true. Actually, I thought they were only untrue for me. I assumed for everyone else it was true because of the no cross lining rule and the no negative downline rule. Just listen how he casually throws out bogus numbers and calls them conservative. They are masters of manipulating your perception for their own financial benefit.
Imagine what would happen if all the things said in the plan were really true. Imagine if pigs could fly. They won't, and the plan, as represented by 99% of the IBO's out there, will never tell the real truth either.

Something was jerkish to Lawdawg the other day and it wasn't my knee. I see that you haven't yet pointed out any inaccuracies he's made. I think that's why you were being picked on a bit.

My comment and LawDawg's have nothing to do with eachother nor does my reaction, as mine was not made by intuition but fact. My point still stands, your knee jerked.
Fred: It is my understanding that Scott Larsen harrassed Joe Land and his wife off of his website and off of the topic of Quixtar. It is no myth that Larsen has or at the very least had in the past a deep routed hatred for the business and those who worked within it. Joe Land's law suit was settled on the understanding that Larsen would leave him alone - which he did. However there are people online and on this blog *ahem* who can not leave the man alone, even after his actions of redemption (as if he needed any).

The only communication I had with the man was copied in the E-mail contained in the lawsuit. In most cases I was sending him links to new issues in the tools business. It is interesting that he claims I harassed him. Have you read the lawsuit? Did you see such a claim in the lawsuit? It seems strange that they would not include excerpts of such harassments in the lawsuit
In fact in a letter from their Lawyer they write ( I still have a copy of it):
"Indeed, the **** have found information contained on your Website informative. Information from your website led the ***** to question how business support materials were handled in some Quixtar organizations. This caused the ***** to form their own business support materials business, you posted material criticizing the ***** for alledgedly "back stabbing" the *****'s Quixtar upline."
It is strange that if I were harassing them outside of Quixtar, that it is not listed in the suit. I moved to Germany on June 1, 2001. Their suit was filed in June of 2002, and it was settled in October of 2002! Was I harassing them from Germany for 18 months?
The man has lied to you and you fail to see the truth.
I would be more than happy to get on a three way telephone call with the man and you to disucss the allegations you make. Are you game to learn the truth?
(I agreed not to use the plaintiffs name on the web to settle the suit, so I can't print their names here)

And your comments directed towards Lawdawg were vulgar, immature, and it would seem unsubstantiated, since you don't seem to want to show what aspect he was incorrect about.
But don't worry about what I think! GO DIAMOND!
If the rumors are true that he had nothing really to lose cause his group had shrunk down to almost nothing... why then was he still being called a "Diamond" by his group and Quixtar (and other LOS')???
Since he is leaving to go to another MLM, (not starting one like Bo Short) is his credibility to be assaulted like Bo's was? Is he a "broke loser", a "quitter" (technically not since Quixtar is putting him out for rules violations), I am serious here... how can someone who made a living of deceit (listen to his tapes) regain credibility in the business? Does he become a whistle-blower or confessor like Bo Short. "I know I did wrong, but now I know better."
Give everyone a chance for rehabilitation.... fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Amway (fool me once) had a chance at changing by going to Quixtar ... but apparantly they are out to fool us twice.
Shame on them.
