Monday Reader Mail: 20
By QBlog in Reader Mail
Monday Reader Mail is back! Last week the popular Monday Reader Mail feature took a break while we celebrated the second QBlog Anniversary. Well, now that the celebration is over we can get back to business.
This week's selection is fairly recent and as always, my comments are in bold
name: William CWell, that's about all I have to say. One thing I've always found ironic is the people sending me email claiming that I'm too negative and critical are themselves being negative and critical. I mean, William says to find the good in all things and all people but he didn't stop to find the abundant good in this blog and in me. I mean, c'mon. Don't you see the irony here? Oh well. Glad to have Reader Mail back. See you next Monday.
date: October 17, 2004message: Your the husband to a former IBO? So what do you really do with all your time? Does your wife work now while you stay home puting all this together?
Yeah, she works in the coal mine 14 hours every day to support the family while I sit in my bathrobe eating bon-bons, blogging about Quixtar and watching "The Young and the Restless" reruns on the Soap Network. You got a problem with that?
Are you trying to get back at someone in Quixtar by holding debates on this site. The only types of people I know that use there time to do stuff like this are quiters and criticizers of everything that goes on around them, alway's looking for something to debate about.
You don't know many people then. Let's look at a brief list of Web sites that publicly discuss important, yet often controversial, issues (aka debate):
» Public citizen
» EFF
» Focus on the Family
» Microsoft Watch
» Operation ClambakeThat's an impressive list of "quitters and criticizers" and I'm glad to be included in their company.
Man I feel sorry for your wife unless she supports you in doing all of this because she quit the business too. you should spend more of your time finding the good in all things and in all people. Good luck in yuor depression.....
My wife supports what I do even if she doesn't agree with everything I do, that's part of what marriage is all about in our minds. Thanks for the well-wishes. My depression is going along just fine. When I'm not stuffing my face with bon-bons I'm chain-smoking filterless cigarettes and listening to old Morrisey records by candlelight.

My policy is that I do not edit the Reader Mails, even for grammar, unless special circumstances demand it. Protecting anonymity is one reason I'd edit an email but grammar is not.
So, sorry I can't oblige but maybe IBOs will just learn to spell and we won't have this problem?
My suggestion was made with a hint of mischief. I was really observing that grammatical errors crop up rather frequently in the ranting e-mails! Marvellous!
Well written reader mail response Mr QBlog!
I personally liked Qrush's response to his reader mail better :)
Oh, man this is great!!!!
The truth is this dude was totally excited when his wife was thinking about doing Southern Living.
Ha Ha Ha, man and that’s the total crux and meaning of this whole site.
You see Qblog-anator loves the idea that his wife will join a business opp that will put all the constructive responsibility on her and he can stay in his little comfort zone and push her along in her business behind closed doors. Because he really would like to supplement his income.
The thing is, Southern Living doesn't have near the compensation chart that Quixtar does, yet that fact matters little when Mr.Qblog realizes that at least he is not the one that has to be responsible for the growth in that business.
Ha Ha Ha, they hate it when I come in these things because man its the hugest bulls-eye ever.
Further Proof that these "Qblog" sites are all about men....ask yourself how many women come into these things to get negative support for their own lack of courage?
That’s right, 99% of these posters are men trying to get better proof that they are not really wieners they are actually quite intelligent.
Ka-Pow!!! Ha Ha Ha, man this is great.
Oh, one more hugest bulls-eye ever..
Quixtar IBOs do 100% of the advertising for these sites. Because you think the Qblog-anator would have the guts to actually share what he feels about Quixtar to another man face to face? No Way!!
Ha Ha Ha. The main Quixtar IBOs have the guts to build something, and therefore some people will look to these sites for info because they don't understand business in the first place.
But nonetheless, Quixtar IBOs do 100% of all the advertising for this site.
So come-on wieners give credit where credit is due, you wouldn't have a life without us.
Man, they hate it when I come in here.
Oh come on you little ibos who can't think for yourself without reporting to your upline commander. If you are going to become such a shinny rock of coal quit trying to cut down people who don't agree with you.You should be out 7 or 8 nights a week showing plans anyway!
Hey Real Big Q, you're right, you're the man.
Tell you what, I'll settle for having no debt, and living how I live (don't go without much, Carribbean trip every winter)
You be the man and have piles of those tapes and CD's, and put off paying the mortgage, credit card payments, etc... and spending time with your family. If that's being a man, fill your boots.
YOU DA MAN!!!!!
I live in the Caribbean. The funny thing is that I haven't seen any Amway diamonds walking the beaches as their residual income comes in.
Then again, they could all be in Hawaii couldn't they?
Hey real big Q,
When are you going to be man enough to let us post on your site? Chicken-butt..and yes If I saw you to your face I would tell you the same thing..
Your a wimp, you cannot think for yourself, I bet your wife still works!!
Lil chicken..hey even your hero Rush lets people call in to debate..
Wimp!!
"Bulls Eye"
I may be snobbish in this observation, but I think some IBOs need to go back and take spelling and keep a dictionary handy when they want to rant and rave. I've dated men who misspell and my ex-husband would misspell words at times. It totally bugs me when a guy misspells and writes poorly.

I think his wife writes his blog for him.

There is nothing "real" about Real Big Q. The guy is all lies or half-truths.
I love it when he comes in here. He looks like an idiot which re-enforces my point!
Big Q?
I think Big Q must be Eric Janssen or one of his pals. I don't see sufficient IQ in the Big Q posts to be Qrush.
It looks to me like most blogs allow comments because many of the comments stroke the ego of the owner of the blog. For example, read below:

That type of post is a waste of everyone's time. Groupies show similar odd behavior.
I believe Qrush gets his message out there without the need for a comments section, but boy, he sure does have the anti-Quixtar, pro-Passport crowd pissed about it.
I wish he would turn on a site visit counter. I'll bet he has had 100,000+ visitors.
And the difference between "groupies" and Diamond worshipers would be?
Help me out here, I don't see the difference.
Oh yeah, it's because there ISN'T one!
BigQ?
You'd never sign me up as an IBO for Quixtar or any other MLM, because I have other things that I would rather do with my spare time.
I find the theory that 'anti-quixtar' means 'pro passport' laughable. I'll wager that ninety-nine out of one hundred ex-Quixtar IBOs would not tough Passport with a barge pole.
Buzzard,
Here, here! I don't care if it's Quixtar, Mary Kay, Passport, or Pampered Chef. The MLM concept is something I'll never again hang my hat on.
"Quixtar IBOs do 100% of the advertising for these sites. "
Bulls-Eye, Indeed!
Trying to get rid of that 'creepy, I need a shower' feeling after getting a recruiting pitch (or worse yet, actually sitting through 'A Plan')? Don't quite know what that icky feeling is? Signed up and it just keeps getting ickier and ickier?
Hit the 'net, and find out what the easels and circles don't say...
Keep up the good work, IBOs. Pretty soon you will be even more 'elite.'
BTW - Here is my patented response to anyone who says I look like a go-getter who would be the kind of person needed to expand an exciting business oportunity in my area: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Face to face, of course.
The Real Big Q - Your posts are like a quixtar open meeting. Lots of "Ka-Pow" and "Ha Ha Ha", but not a lot of substance.
Sorry, I don't know what Southern Living is and really don't care.
With regards to Quixtar bogging sites being about women, how many Quixtar open meetings have you seen where women have shown the plan? While I'm sure it has happened, I've never seen it and can be sure most others have not seen it either.
Also, listen to the giant sucking sound of money flying out of the IBO's wallets, bank accounts, and credit cards. That is the real advertising for sites like this.

Oh yeah, it's because there ISN'T one!
and I say:
They aren't groupies... they are minions.
You guys sound like anti-quixtar groupies. Listen to these comments!
maybe, but I didn't feel my way about the business because of QBlog, Scott, or anyone else... I am what I am because of the business. I found other like-minded people with similar experiences. Unlike you, recruitment is not necessary, they come to us.
The anti-quixtar people don;t stalk people while they are shopping... not saying you do Chris, your group would never consider doing the thinkgs in your "Yager" group that Yager and other Yager groups teach.
Yager doesn't teach stalking. Every diamond in his organization teaches a little differently. So to jumble everybody under one idea would be absurd. There are some general principles that many follow, but stalking is not one of them.
I don't feel my way about the business because of QBlog, Scott or anyone else either. I am what I am because of the business. I know many other like-minded people with similar experiences.
"Unlike you, recruitment is not necessary, they come to us"
Oh yeah, you think that people come to you? It is because of advertising, in this case, search engine positioning specifically, and secondarily, your own promoting of your own site. I have seen you shamelessly plug your site on this blog in many comments. I don't mind, but please don't pretend that people just come to you.
You started up a site and promoted it and that's how people came. IBO's started up a business and promoted it, and that's how people came. Both sides tailor to like minded people, and both sides have their fair share of groupies.
Honestly, if I am out shopping and I meet someone and we have something in common and we exchange numbers and I show that person the plan, I don't see anything wrong with that.
Let's say I took it one step further and I went shopping with intention to meet someone and I saw someone sharp and complimented them on being sharp and asked if they were open to new business ideas and exchanged numbers and showed them the plan. I wouldn't have a problem with that either.
I tend to not use that strategy in meeting people, but early on when I didn't know any better I would just contact everyone all the time. Now that I have more posture and confidence in my business, I have people coming to me.
"Yager doesn't teach stalking."
What upline DOES teach that...?
But, Morrisey does teach stalking:
'Call me morbid, call me pale, I spent six years on your trail....'
QBlog, you gotta love it!
Hey QBlog.
Is there any chance you could correct the grammar of the Monday reader mails?
Reading this sort of venom and bile from militant IBOs is both infuriating and enjoyable; having to see the said venom and bile interspersed with elementary grammar mistakes is just plain infuriating!
