Go Vote
By QBlog in
Get off your duff and go vote. Unless you've already voted... in which case you should not vote a second time. Who do you think will win the presidential election tonight? Who did you vote for, if you don't mind sharing that with us.
Comments
I don't think we're going to have a winner tonight...I think it will take a couple of days.
Same here, CK...already cast my vote for W.
Husband is in Ohio, one of the "thousands of lawyers". Contrary to what some news outlets would have you believe, there is no "conspiracy" to keep certain ethnic/racial groups from voting.
I agree PJ, no winner tonight, I think it'll be at least a week
I'm British so can't vote in this one, although I am hoping that W will get in.
It certainly seems like a tough one to call.
I hope some martial law comes in and punish W for war crimes.
Voted straight ticket...Libertarian.
Voted Libertaran in any other positions available locally, couple Dems, couple Reps.
On State Proposals....
voted for requiring voter approval for any new gambling in the state.
voted against constitutional amendment over stating marriage or any union is only "one man and one woman"
Canada is the 51st State!
I voted for W. Not that I'm particularly enamored with him, but I just can't stomach Kerry. In MI - and in local races in our area - there is alot riding on voter turnout, so tonite should be interesting. I agree with other posts - Presidential results will not be known tonite. Anyway - ya'll go vote now!!!
Voted for Kerry, not because I think he's great, but he does have one good thing going for him. He's not Bush.
Besides, Theresa is cooler than Laura.
Home sick today :( but I am voting after lunch. I am voting for Kerry and I believe that a combination of factors - increased voter turnout, undecided voters breaking heavily toward Kerry, inaccuracy in the polls due to households with no land lines not being polled - will give us a winner tonight. Kerry will win the popular vote by 2-3% and he will have enough of a margin in Florida to call that race tonight. But all this is, as QBlog would say, just one man's opinion.
I voted to re-elect President George W Bush. By the way, did everyone read the transcript from the new pundit from Pakistan? (Osama...).
He leans left from what I read. Matter of fact, I enjoyed Rush Limbaugh's comparison yesterday to Michael Moore's talks and even some of Kerry's speeches. Why would Osama want Kerry?
pre-election spin?
I too am from the UK and obviously cannot vote.
In the UK I would usually choose to vote Conservative which would mean Bush if I was American.
However, I believe that Bush is a maniac and he should be removed from power.
I voted last week, absentee. I voted for W, but it won't matter considering my home state is overwhelmingly going for Kerry.
I think I should have changed my registration to Wisconsin. I've been here long enough to qualify. :)
Voted for Kerry. There are a lot of things I just do not like about Bush, but the biggest is his and his team's lack of knowledge in geopolitics. Did anyone ever tell W what would happen in Iraq when they removed Saddam's strong arm? A little research would have been prudent, but either it was never done, or Georgie and/or his staff didn't want to hear it.
Anyway, I voted for a Republican for Senator and Congressman, so I'm no pinkie, commie liberal either.
What's wrong being a liberal? Why they are called pinko commie?
Most conservatives are not intelligent enough to debate a liberal, so they call names.
Go Bush!
That has to be the shortest post by Chris - ever! What gives, where are the diatribes?
Lesbians for Bush!
Just try and lick us!
DF,
Technically it's a tie. On monday's reader mail 19 I wrote:

Kerry
I just wanted the honor of shortest post EVER!
Lick Bush in 2004!!
enough said!!
Half the country thinks the other half of the country is crazy for what they believe in politically.
Most liberals don't spend much of their time reading pro-conservative information for insight, and vice-versa.
But those critical of the other party write everything from conspiracy theories to illegal activities that the other party participates in.
This is at the heart of politics in our country.
When the far left debates the far right, it is usually all just attacks, and in my opinion this doesn't make for good debates.
But when the moderate left debates the moderate right, you usually get a good debate that focuses on issues that they disagree with, and why. I have found from my experience that these type of debates are usually the best and most informative.
I also have respect for the republican who has an opend mind enough to take time to try to understand why people would vote democrat, and vice-versa.
Am voting after I go visit my Dad in the hospital (yup, already got him his absentee ballot and turned it in).
I will share my presidential choice because I believe is is somewhat germaine to the topic. I am voting for W.
I guess not every AmQuix critic is a raving pinko commie liberal gook. :)
