Great Quote About Persistence
By QBlog in
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
- Calvin Coolidge

That was a major part of one of Bo Short's tapes, too.

Great quote, but too many IBOs, in my experience, confuse persistence with PITA.
Persistence is going after a goal and not giving up.
Insanity is doing something that doesn't work repeatedly and expecting a different response.
Tapes all say this, but I rarely see it practiced. And for those that practice this and become successful, all too often the goal has changed from becoming financially successful to becoming financially successful at all costs.
I'm searching for the exceptions to my generalization here. If you find it, please point me in the right direction.

WOW! It's the same thing almost as
"Paddle the canoe!, Paddle the canoe!"
that is a great quote..too bad it conjures up memories for me of Diamond Kay Fletcher in the 1980s from his "bestselling Amway classic";
"Never Never Quit"
The tape was in my "First Night" pack, and it hooked me in at that time.
