$12 Million = Record Day
By QBlog in
Quixtar not only turned five today but it set a record last night. According to an uncredited (press release perhaps?) report, Quixtar posted a single day sales record yesterday of $12 million. That's fantastic. Seriously, that's a lot of money. I'm impressed. No, I'm not being sarcastic. I do wonder how much PV that earned?
Anyway, Happy Birthday (or is it Anniversary?) Quixtar!
Comments
Sounds to me like everyone was making their last "push" purchases to throw them over the top. It was of course the last day of the Quixtar fiscal year and time to "buy your pin" if you did not have enough points.
If you notice the end of Feb is also a big day for them for the same reason.
Scott
ps.
On an average day Wal-Mart does 750 million/day. Amway is three years older than Wal-Mart too.
I was thinking something like that, Scott. By the way, enjoy your site. Tons of helpful stuff there.
Didn't Quixtar also raise prices recently? Be interesting to compare the % price raise and the % growth in sales from last year to see if Quixtar actually sold more merchandise, or just sold the same amount of units, just at a higher cost.
A excerpt from my blog:
So 1/5th of the total sales for Alticor is from the 'net (i.e. Quixtar) which is supposed to be North American sales only. The fact that the big number ($1 billion) is thrown around by the various IBOs as Quixtar sales but is not really the truth is not surprising. I mean, the Diamonds throw out the big numbers they "make" and only 1/5th of it comes from Quixtar.
I got an iAchieve(I am still considered active till December) yesterday and it told about the "big day". I have seen groups pushing a certain day to do all their orders to make that day look good. It is the same as the ibo's and friends pushing up the hit count on Quixscam's opening day. I also noticed in the iachieve that there were no new diamonds. One of the new emeralds mentioned that they did without heat and hot water to make calls. Thanks Scott, for giving me the knowledge to read between the lines.
I love it. Quixtar hits a record breaking day of 12 Million...I believe they hit the 11 Million mark three or four months back...and all we can say is it must be based on their prices being raised or that Wal-Mart does 750 Million in a day.
I think some people are missing the bigger picture. I've been reading and posting on MLM Survivor and this site for a few months and a number of regulars have been predicting Quixtar’s down fall for 5 plus years. I believed, with others, that after the switch to the web and the breaking open of the system scandal that they would not recover. In addition, with the wide spread use of the internet to get info out we can't say people are uninformed about these subjects. Based on the dramatic decrease of pins and volume the first few years of Quixtar’s life, I suspected it was a last gasp prior to death too.
Now it looks to have just been an adjustment. Scott’s site lists the recent increase in pins based on the iAcheive magazines. It seems to be that Quixtar didn't take as big of a hit as people initially believed.
Can anyone explain to me in a logical way why this might be occurring? Is it possible that people didn’t care as much about the “system” issues as we believed? Is it possible that people are beginning to retail? My understanding is that WWB or is it WWDB…the Seattle bunch with Puryear as the head…does retail training three times a year instead of a rally. I’m interested in beginning to understand this and the economics behind it, especially after reading LawDawg’s recent Blog post on saturation.
As always, great posts and feedback.
By the way...what is Roger talking about?
"The fact that the big number ($1 billion) is thrown around by the various IBOs as Quixtar sales but is not really the truth is not surprising. I mean, the Diamonds throw out the big numbers they "make" and only 1/5th of it comes from Quixtar."
I'm not sure Roger gets the math behind their numbers. Quixtar, which is North America division of Alticor, did do over 1 Billion dollars last year, which is 1/5 of the total revenue for the company.
I just want to say THANK YOU. Thanks for having this website. I have recently been approached (heavily recruited) to start an IBO with Britt World Wide and Quixtar. I even went to the meeting last night. Needless to say that if something sounds too good to be true, its BS. I feel you've saved me from making a potentially huge mistake. Now, when I tell the person who invited me to the meeting, that I'm not interested, can I expect an onlsaught of rebuttals from his upline sponsors? Anybody know if I'm going to need a restraining order? (just kidding, but a little serious too), Thanks again.
The group I was in this last year was really pushing 300 pv instead of the 100 pv talked about for years.People are running their credit cards up buying to hit their 300 pv goal and it just looks like the company is growing.Probably selling more but more than likely buying personal use more.Choices Catalog has something I never saw till I got ready to quit and send the stuff back I had bought. In the middle of catalog across from the delivery charges chart page 1-5 it says "This satisfaction guarantee does not apply to IBO purchases for stock or inventory".So if your buying this stuff to hit pins or brackets you can't send it back if you decide to quit.So if your buying any extra you can't send it back.I have not had a order in months and still can't get rid of all the crape I bought.Looks like the company and the kingpins have everything covered for their success.
What I was saying, is that ALTICOR as a whole did $1 Billion....Quixtar as the web-enabled North American subsidiary did 1/5 of that. Or did I mis-read the article?
Yep, I misread it.....the $1 Billion is one-fifth of what Alticor made in total.
Still a staggering amount out of the country, and Quixtar is still N.A. only, so the sister company AMWAY makes the most money
Record day? I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it was the last day of the fiscal year (said tongue in cheek).
Hi Gang -
Steve's comment seems to be indicative of our attitude if we see anything remotely positive about Quixtar. The place that we seem to be losing the battle is on concrete facts regarding why Quixtar is not a viable income source. One reason I enjoy Scott’s site is that he has info supported by facts. I don’t always agree with his analysis, but I support his attempt to offer some viable documentation. I’m interested in some serious comments regarding Quixtar’s 12 Million dollar day. (Is it too much to hope for with the “Wag the Dog” tactics by Qrush and his critics going on currently?)
If we are truly here to express our opinion and discuss Quixtar then lets do it and leave Qrush and Qrushed in the dust.
For any that might be confused by the math/facts regarding their over 1 Billion dollar year, and 12 million dollar day here it is as best I can understand.
Quixtar IBO’s did 1.035 Billion last year.
Quixtar IBO’s averaged 86.2 Million a month last year.
Quixtar IBO’s number around 300,000 (Is this total or active?)
Quixtar IBO’s averaged $287 a month in sales
Quixtar IBO’s averaged 104 PV a month (2.75 PV Ratio to $)
I have a number of questions regarding these numbers and would like some feedback on the validity of these stats.
Please help me verify this information then I’ll move forward with my question.

Hello guys, I am seeing people realy seeking info here and the undertone is one of "Show me the money". Now with all these investigative typers, I will assume that you have seen the plan(6-4-2). I come across people that said I know someone at platinum level not making money or trying to divide on paper the Fiscal total with the 'ACtive IBO,s on file.
Problem is most people say I haven't made money and worked hard, but never attained the structure the plan showed as an example. I qualified founders,Q12 , Sapphire etc and got all the appropiate bonuses and trips. However I worked closely with someone who was willing to help and qualified to teach. Have you ever met someone who did according to the plan and quixtar did not pay them...e.g someone went Q12 and didn't get paid??
Quixtar is an opportunity not a guarantee and being part of Britt Ive never been taught to just buy stuff to qualify. Commonsense indicates that such a situation becomes negative and dosen't provide long term security. Unfortunately some IBO's do it but its not how the Quixtar Business was set up.
If one understands this business then manipulation is not neccessary to become a bigpin. In fact if you go to the site you will find the same partners store's website links that the general public go to, however you are compensated through Quixtar in one form or the other. Avis gives IBO,s up to 25% discount and Nextel is doing a promo with up to 18% discount for IBO,s. MCI is giving a $75 gift Album in addition to sign-up bonus.
There are many more deals available as one does their homework. It all has to do with structure/sales to determine how much income you can make. How many millionaires and thousandnaires does WalMart have on file again(Other than family and few owners?? Quixtar has a different operation from Wal Mart and provides a wider range of services.
If one understands the business it would make sense that these two high sales days occured when it did because of IBO's qualifying. Selling through teams is common in real estate, the cellular phone business and nowadays you are even seeing big companies merge and work together to increase business. The network of IBOs is the BACKBONE of quixtar and thats why I am on my way along with some of my downlines to Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin resort.
Probably in the areas many of you reside you don't come across successful IBO's to work with you.Maybe someone's approach turned you off and you think that the only way these big pins make money is through tools but realy visit the site, check out what consumerlab.com has to say about nutrilite. See why Artistry is one of the top five cosmetic companies in the world and Espring is the World's best source of water.
Get the details on these products and see why we as IBO's are proud to use and market them. Compare Xs energy drink in price and quality with RedBull and other drinks on the market. The new Quixtar site (2.0) will be here in a few days so check that out too. Quixtar is a viable income source if you realy sit down evalute it and you are willing to do the work. If not leave it alone and keep hard at that JOB for the next 40yrs(assuming you don't get laid off or fired). Quixtar is not for everyone and Working for someone else is not for me. A tradational business is good, but is limited by space, time and location. My company powered by Quixtar operates 24/7 in many states and countries as well as millions of stuff I don't have to fit into one store.
Read 'Who Stole the American Dream' available at Barnes and Noble which by the way is a quixtar partner store too. Don't worry no tool money to upline. HEY Maybe I just got lucky and Quixtar realy dosen't work.....Hmmmmm the IBO's showing up in the by monthly IAchieve got lucky too.
PJ.. Happy IBO
Ray, hate to break it to you but that was bad decision on your path.I too incourage 300 p.v circles and alot of people do more than 500pv circles. They aren't to the best of my knowlege just packing their basements. Scott were you realy part of a team that just told you to buy your pin?? Is that a term from Quixtar?? You know that there are no limits as to how many clients you can have??
Now alot of people has predicted the Fall of Amway while the F.T.C investigated. The same is being done with Quixtar and it will continue growing just as its sister company Amway. They added more bonuses and have you seen the Achieve lately?? Of course people transitioned into a new business model but I think they are happy about being the number one Online health and beauty site on the internet.
More products, more services, new means available, more bonuses and more accessability and of course more products/retail training.....logical. Hey relax, if quixtar dies then there will be no Quixtar Blog so if for no other reason you guys have my word that I am one that will continue working to make Quixtar work.(oh yes I am in it for the money too)
Tried Xs Yet....its number one selling product now and only around a year or two.How about S.A.M(skin analizer magnifier)......While you blog about what Quixtar isn't the company is doing more to enhance who they are....THINk About It.
hi friends.. its great to know sooo much 4m u guys... its quite simple i guess... change ur shop n earn and save money... if u get problems in life, just fight n over come... u ll naturally become sucessfull n rich... as siple as that... but not easy... have fun building ur great business.. quitter never ever never ever never win... or stand a chance for it... i have just this busines and enjoying other aspect of my ilfe.. this is all because of britt world wide...
4,800,000 PV, Assuming 1 PV = $2.5. This is a very conservative figure, could be fewer PVs
300,000 active IBOs (again, very conservative figure)
16 PV / IBO / day. Not bad! I wonder how much of this is retail?
