Yellow Qrush

By QBlog in Web Initiative

yel-low
adj. - Slang meaning cowardly.

You remember Orange Crush right? No, not THAT Orange Crush. The yummy soda of the same name.

Well, it looks like there's a new soda out that captures the essence and flavor of fellow blogger QRush.

Yellow Qrush

I'm drinking a Yellow Qrush right now and it's sooooo refreshing with only the slightest after-taste. Be sure to pick up a case at your local grocer today!

Eric,

This is great art work. I wish I could produce stuff like this as quickly. I'll bet Qrush is laughing too. He hates yellow commie liberals (I read that on his Qrush blog) so I'm sure he sees the humor.

Does he really have Qrush shirts for sale? I couldn't find that on his site but someone told me they were for sale. I don't want to buy one but I wanted to see what they looked like.

Why don't you design a shirt for him? I'm sure we would get a laugh from that one too.

That's a great idea Old Yeller. I think I may do that and I can send the art to Cafe Press and people can really and truly buy a T-shirt or whatever.

Let's get this rolling! Any more ideas?

I don't think the beverage idea will work unless we put Eric's eyes on the bottle somehow, too.

But I do like the fact that you guys think Qrush is Golden!

I personally hate Qrush because his/her grammer and typing are so bad.

But I personally love Qrush because he has brought out a lot of truth about Bo that most of us didn't know before.

You could have a picture of a guy paddling a canoe on it
:)

What do you think the PV would be on this if Quixtar picked it up as a Partner Store? Could this replace XS as the drink of choice?

You know, window stickers are big with the young crowd. How 'bout Quixtar sucks window stickers or bumper stickers. Or t-shirts that say "I'm not your prospect"

How about we sell the drink and stickers and T-shirts online only...advertising the site as SSL certified.... meaning it contributes to the Save Scott Larsen fund.

Speaking of yellow, I found this forum entry http://www.magicyellow.com/forums/General/m10831.htm magicyellow... wonder if the Lemos guy is still an IBO? His IBO number is listed...anyone know how to verofy it?

Qrush...er...I mean Jim-

I couldn't put my finger on it, but now that you mention it, it IS the grammer and typing that has been driving me crazy about Qrush. I thought it was just that he/she is a shill and a propagandist, but NO! It is in fact his/her grammer and typing. The haze has been wiped from my eyes, and I can, in deed, see clearly now.

Thanks Qrush. Doh! I did it again. Sorry. Thanks Jim.

Good Idea Roger...etc. (you need a shorter psudonym, but I'll get over it). I like the idea of the SSL certified tagger on it. Wouldn't it be funny if one were to come up with an idea, some crazy little idea that spawned a national awareness of the idiocy that is quixtar, and it ended up being their demise?

Think about it. All the quixtar/amway critical sites offer t-shirts and stickers to anyone who has had bad experiences with it. They start getting bought up and begin to circulate the country. Some Joe Blow at (insert name of college or university here) starts to notice this trend and puts the thought in his memory banks. He then get's prospected in the mall, goes to the living room presentation and remembers the t-shirt. He realizes that this must be that thing that is supposed to suck. Not wanting to be involved in something with this much of a suck factor he decides that quixtar is not for him.

Now if he goes and tells 6 of his friends....

Oh wait I think I'm getting a little weirded out now.

I found a great nickname for quixtar on another site and had to share it.

Quixand.

Maybe we could have a picture of a guy drowning in motivational tapes and books with a sign next to him that says "Watch out for Quixand"

Really Kendall, calling ME Qrush!

You anti-Quixtar cronies are so narrow minded you think anyone who shows up in your little negative-fest must all the same person.

I got a phone message from someone in a cross-line organization telling me about Qrush's site, if you must know the truth.

Oh, I'm sorry. You guys don't want to know the truth, you only want to twist it.

My bad.

Jason,

You're stealin' my thunder. I like the idea.

Maybe you could borrow the flying canoe from the Maudite Beer bottle label.

http://www.mylifeisbeer.com/beer/bottles/bottledetail/489/

Actually the legend that goes with it is pretty good too.

"brought out a lot of truth about Bo that most of us didn't know before. "

Like what, Jim?

The fact that Bo bought his sixth leg in Honduras?

That's not news, nor was Bo hiding it. He explained it in the MLM Survivor's Club EIGHT MONTHS AGO!

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/mlmsurvivorsclub/message/28926

As far as everything else Qrush says, he doesn't reveal his sources, he doesn't post any of these letters and emails he is supposedly getting. So what other "truth" have you learned?

Thanks Jason, but I'll keep the long name...I'm unique from any other Roger that comes along....remember Rocket changed his name cause there were too many of the same names posting. So, speaking of t-shirts and logos....how about:

I'm a QUITER!

Quixtar
United
Independent
Thinkers
Equalling
Revolution

or how about:

Support LOSERS!

Line
Of
Sponsorship
Edification
Removal
Service

or my favorite:

visit QRUSH.com!

Quixtar
Rambling
Useless
S#!+
Hopelessly

anyone think we could sell them?

roger, etc.

Good point on the name.

Great ideas

I want T-shirts!!! I wonder what my brainwashed friend would think if I showed up wearing one??

Oh poor beastmaster:

You seem so impressed Bo Short brought out the fact that he FAKED his 6th leg by telling everyone 8 months ago. Let's see, that's OVER 1 YEAR after he launched Pissport, ooops, sorry, Passpoor, sorry again, . . . and over 8 YEARS after he paraded around as a diamond!! WOW, Pretty impressive disclosure there! Give me a break!

As to truth about Bo Short-of-Integrity, qualifying each of his parents seperately as two more legs was never brought out before, cancelling the renewals for Pissport was never discussed openly before, etc. etc. etc. Must I go on?

Have you also noted that Ty (or shall we just start calling him Ty-Bo, since he's meshed so tight with his 'mentor') has only answered SOME of the QRUSH questions on Bo's behalf?

By the way, before you think I am too one sided (like yourself), I also wanted to blast QRUSH for his/her stupid pop company. Have you tased the stuff? Maybe he/she should go back to abobo dancing. Nah, QRUSH is doing a pretty good job of riling up you Pissport goons.

It's really fun to watch.

Hi Eric -

Question for you. I was a little surprised when you removed the link to the Qrush site. My guess was that you had decided not to get into a slinging mudd match with him.

As entertaining as this post was, I was surprised that you decided to play with Qrush this way.

You're intro still says, "This site is neither an endorsement nor a condemnation of Quixtar. It's just one man's perceptions."

If this is still true for you, I would challenge you to put the link back up to direct people to his site. Let them make their own endorsement or condemnation of that site too. Qrush is only making "one man's perception." the same as your self.

Soobonn

SooBonn,

I was a little surprised by your comment. What are you talking about? I didn't remove any links to any QRush site. Please explain what you're talking about.

Qrush is hardly "one man".... I have a feeling that "he" is indeed a team of people, or if not at least a person posting a team's work.

The premise he gives of not being involved in the business in any way, and being so adamant in his support of Quixtar is hardly believable.

If not, then his "reality" could be easily verified as either an employee of QUixtar, or an IBO in league with an LOS.

Jim:

None of Bo's actions seems unusual for Quixtar. I watched one "leg" move from one person to another. There was a pair of diamondships combined to create a Crown Ambassador. One diamond had his legs stripped out from under him to create a "superstar" Crown, and a Crown Ambassador had his legs removed piecemeal until his earnings were under $100,000/year (if he's still earning money from Quixtar...). I even heard that Dex bought his 20th direct leg literally -- buying up all the SA8 himself for all that time so that he could claim Crown Ambassadorship, then donated it to church rummage sales all over the Charlotte area.

Fact is, Bo's a Diamond who went there, came out and told what was going on. You got a problem with that?

Don,

What they are missing is that fact that yes Bo said he did all those things, with the approval and help of the Diamonds and kingpins above him, and many more have done the same. Qruch would be smart(er) to not focus so much on what Bo did as "a lone gun" cause it is not believable, the more Qrush points out what Bo did in A/Q, the more it should polint out he was not alone...the LOS knew he did it and the Company knew what he was (Diamond or not) based upon the bonus the paid to him for the years after he did qualify Diamond. That is the problem with "qualifying" in all these various levels and then riding that level FOREVER until you reach the next one....even if the next one is getting back to the one you claim you "still are".

I can definitely see the issue Qrush has is primarily with Bo. But what I can't understand is what the real difference is. It's still MLM! An average person is going to lose his shirt on the deal regardless of the person at the top. Aren't we splitting hairs here?

Nice avoidance of the issue Jim. So what "truth" has Qrush revealed that we didn't already know?

More imporatantly, what difference does it make?

Qrush and Quixtar can't respond to the criticisms of their corrupt business enterprise so they try to distract the conversation by talking about Bo Short. Who cares about Bo Short and Passport? Nobody but those trying to keep people from seeing that Quixtar and its associated motivational systems have stolen billions of dollars from millions of people.

Neither you nor Qrush can fight the truth Jim. Quixtar is a scam. Talking about Bo Short won't change that.

JIm wrote:As to truth about Bo Short-of-Integrity, qualifying each of his parents seperately as two more legs was never brought out before, cancelling the renewals for Pissport was never discussed openly before, etc. etc. etc. Must I go on?

Bo: Jim, with all due respect my parents are divorced. That is why they were not one ibo. Additionally, I did not buy their volume. My Mom built her own business with her husband and I sponsored people under my dad and built that one. What I bought was my 6th leg in Honduras.

By the way, I waived the renewals for Passport from the very beginning. We have never charged for them. While it is in our compendium (boiler plate language) I have never done so, as it seems to me to be just another way to generate revenue. I do not understand your assertion that this is some revelation, as it is something we have done for 3 years. It was not like I told people to keep it a secret.

Additionally, I have not addressed some of the issues simply because they are not relevant. For example, when I was in Q we promoted it as the biggest company in the industry...the granddaddy. Therefore, our sales volume was a relevant number. In fact, it was a part of the presentation, to give people confidence that they were going to be a part of something that they could succeed in. Unfortunately, with all of their billions most people never make any money. In our case, it is not even part of our discussion. Then again, if you think I launched Passport as just another way to make money I would understand your doubt. If you really knew me, and why I did this you may feel differently. Regardless, you are entitled to your opinion.

I appreciate the fact that you may have differences with me. I respect that. However, I would like to point out that simply because someone comes online, hides behind a fictitious name and says something is true, does not mean it is. I told the producers of Dateline NBC that the only recourse they have is to attack me personally. None of this should be a surprise to anyone as it is not to me. By the way, an easy way to get an answer is to pick up the phone or use email. I think you would be surprised by the lack of mystery that really surrounds me.

What is interesting in all of this, is that Q still has not fixed their problem. It leads you to wonder if they actually care about the ibo’s or not.

Bo:

Thank you for your answer. You sound like a friendly guy. In fact, although Qrush makes me laugh, his tone is a bit more offensive than yours.

However, your answer did not address my main point.

You represented yourself as a model of integrity and someone who was going to clean up the industry and become its safe haven. A nobel endeavor, to be sure.

My problem is this:

1. If you faked one leg, you would fake others, or lie in other instances too. It really doesn't matter when you admitted it to whom, or that others were doing it too, or all the myriad of reasons I've heard across these discussion boards. Misrepresentation is misrepresentation.

You lied your way into a position (dimaond). Now you are in another position (at the head of Passport) where you are forced to tell the truth about your previous position, and even profit from it. But we are supposed to believe that you are honest about your CURRENT position? And you won't even share the same sales numbers etc. that even Quixtar publishes?

See the difficulty?

2. Your only marketing tool is slamming Quixtar and its IBOs, and trying to lure them away from Quixtar into Passport. "We are good because they are bad".

You and your marketers spend so much time slinging mud, you should not be surprised that some kook like Qrush has decided to sling back. For those of us that have been observing this for a while, it is very funny.

Jim,
Let me start by saying that I never represented myself as a model of integrity, nor did I ever say that Passport was designed to clean up the industry.

We are a small company that is simply attempting to operate fairly. I believe that all people want is a fair chance on a level playing field without the hype. If they do something with it great. If not, they should not be made to feel like losers…because they are not.

Additionally, I have never asked people to “just trust me” in Passport. I believe that is one reason we got burned before. We “just trusted everyone.”

Regarding your first point. I can understand your sentiment. The business, the way I was taught, was full of contradiction. The overwhelming number of emeralds and diamonds…and 1000’s I knew manipulated their volume. It is how we were taught. That is my point though. In my opinion; the business success is built on a lie.

When you are in it...it is all you know. You do not see it like you do when you leave it. I wrote somewhere that, when you are in a cult you do not know you are in a cult...that is one reason it is called a cult. You may see that as an excuse. I can respect your opinion, even if I disagree with it. I never questioned the integrity of my upline even as a diamond. Shame on me. Additionally, growing so quickly only reinforced my belief that it was true and working.

By the way, I am not concerned with what Q publishes. That is their choice. They are the ones that have categorized me as a competitor. I do not see us this way. My business operates much differently than theirs. If the gross sales numbers are important to you I am sorry. Our revenue has little to no impact on our Associates ability to build a customer base. This is a position we took 3 years ago.

Lastly, I do not view my outspokenness about my experiences in Q as a marketing tool. I feel compelled to speak the truth as I lived it. I believe people have a right to know what is happening. I can tell them from the perspective of someone that sat in the room with corporate officials. Keep in mind, I still have law enforcement officials on my property because of this mess. That is the type of marketing tool I could do without.

I also believe that by owning a business such as this, it is fair for someone to question my motive. I cannot argue with that. When I left Q I felt as though it was my responsibility to offer my friends an option. Nothing more. It would have been easier to simply leave and speak out. I knew I would face criticism for launching Passport. I am fine with that. I believe I did the right thing.

If my outspokenness impedes the growth of Passport, that is okay as well. I did not start it to build some giant company. It was meant as a safe place for my friends. Your questioning that is something I can understand and respect as well.

Thank you for the tone of your questions. I appreciate your comments even if I may not agree with all of them. I am more than happy to discuss these issues.
Sincerely,
Bo

Bo,

This is really interesting. Are you saying you have police protecting you 24/7 because you have convinced your local authorities that you need protection? How long has this been going on and what is the annual police budget for this protection? It must take around 6 guys to protect you 24/7. With benefits, etc., that must be around $400,000 a year. That’s a lot of money and I don’t believe you. What is the phone number for your local police station so I can call and ask?

You say you were threatened by someone. Even if this part is true, that happens every minute of every day in this country. A very small percentage actually mean it and a very small percentage of that group actually do harm to others. If everyone threatened was protected this way, EVERY ADULT in the country would need to be in law enforcement.

Would you clear this up with additional information please?

Once again, I never said that I have people 24/7. With all due respect I do not care what you think about this particular subject either. What I said is that I have law enforcement officials on my property. They do not live here 24/7. Quite frankly, it is none of your business how often they are here. Suffice it to say that they share my concerns.
Thank you, Bo

Really?

When you think about the amount of money that may possibly be out the window once people stop buying the tools, it should not come as any surprise that there would be threats directed to Bo in order to shut him up.

I understand that you think this is a minor concern. I would be very curious to observe how you would take it if someone was heard saying he was going to put a bullet in your head because you cost them a lot of money.

Also, FYI, police do not have to be present in order to be providing protection. I'm not going to get into that topic too much, but if you think about it, you may come up with a few ideas as to how this can be accomplished.

Suffice to say, I know this kind of police protection takes place every minute of every day in the USA and in Canada.

Hey this discussion was supposed to be about Qrush and his yellow journalism. Wasn't it?
Anyway, Qrush would love to get his hands on what I found ....a Democratic IBO with hopes of eliminating the "American extreme right wing". I give my thoughts on it at http://www.whataboutquixtar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36&sid=156fca58bdad7a8a17c97673228a1a11
and the original blog by the IBO can be read at http://paramendra.motime.com/1090798513#314566.

Quick...to the Qrush-signal!
(Everyone looks up and sees a yellow elephant projected on the clouds)

Bo:

First of all, let me say that if someone out there really threatened you then they are a loser of the lowest order. We are discussing ideas about business for crying out loud. I would not wish that kind of ridiculous situation on anybody.

But I have to disagree with you when you say you didn't set yourself up as a competitor to Quixtar. They are MLM, you are MLM. The products you market are in the same categories that many of their main products are. And the most implicating fact contradicting your statement is that you and your distributors actively recruit Quixtar IBOs away from their lines of sponsorship with search engine advertisements (that we have all seen) and personal phone calls and emails, as you have offered repeatedly.

Then you say you didn't set Passport up to be a big business, but rather a safe place for your friends. While once again you profess a noble sentiment (and I do believe you are sincere about it), does this mean that Passport distributors are not really in a business but rather some type of club?

And since you don't publish any financial numbers or averages at all, how can they even believe they could ever make any money at it?

I am all for making the MLM industry honest and upright where an average person can have a financial opportunity. I just feel that these contradictions we've been discussing today have HURT the industry instead of HELPING it.

About the removing of the Qrush link...

For some reason I was thinking that you had Qrush's link under your section of "Recommended Blogs" for a bit, but then removed it.

If I was wrong, just disregard the question.

Thank you, Soobonn

You were wrong. I linked to QRush's site in three different places, my Quixtar Chatter links and two separate blog posts (one of them being this post). The Chatter Links are a rolling collection of links that I post to whenever I find comments about Quixtar that may not inspire me to dedicate an entire blog post to. All the Chatter links are archived (see the link) but none of them will remain on the main blog page permanently. The more Chatter there is, the faster those links will cycle off the main page.

Make sense? I thought you might have confused the two.

Here's the URL for your convenience:

http://qrushed.blogspot.com

"...so refreshing with only the slightest aftertaste??

That moron probably peed into the bottle to give it its nice yellow texture.

I joined A/Q in 1992 and bought into the system 100%. I've driven thousands of miles every year to show the plan, "invested" on average about $20,000 per year between 1992-1999 to build our business. Our best month in that period resulted in about 4400 PV. But I believed in the system and I believed in our upline.

-BTW: We are in Ken Stewart's LOS. I've met him several times, had dinner with him once and have been to his home in Springfield, MO before he moved to FL.

We were sponsored by friends from church who we still consider friends. I've made many friends through A/Q (none of whom are still active) one of them used to be our Direct Distributor.

I have many fond memories of our business building days and more than my share of moments I am ashamed of. (If you've been on the receiving end of an over-zealous new distributor plan you know what I mean.) Through our association with our upline my wife and I were able to work through some very difficult times in our marraige. I attribute that mostly to the fact that we knew these people previous to the business. However had we not been in business with these people I doubt that they would have had the opportunity to help us.

I read nearly every Book of the Month and through developing the reading habbit have grown in many areas of my life that needed it.

I believe that most of the people who start building A/Q do so out of noble ambitions to provide for their families and improve themselves.

In late 1997 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and we were forced into a period of inactivity that we will never return from. During that time I realized how much energy I was putting into our business that I should be putting into my family. Then I came across sites like this one and mlmsurvivors.com and began to learn the truth about A/Q.

I've seen Bo Short from stage several times and admired his drive and passion for life. So as the scales fell from my eyes I've had to work through the emotions of betrayal and anger that comes with realizing I was lied to.

What was I lied to about? Well for one, and it's a biggie, that no one makes money off of the books and tapes and seminars. I don't blame the person who told me that because that is what they were told and they hadn't hit the DD level where you learn the secret handshake and are privey to that type of information. The fact is the majority of money is in the system and getting people hooked into it's cycle of self promotion.

Tapes tell you to go to seminars/conventions...convention speakers tell you to listen to tapes...tapes tell you to go to seminars/conventions....convention speakers...

Then to read about the lawsuits involving Ken Stewart...they are nothing but a bunch of Soprano wanna-be's. Make no mistake...I am not saying A/Q is a cult or part of organized crime. However I will say that the motivational organizations exert cult-like methods of control over their organizations to manage the flow of negative information about A/Q and the IBO organizations.

I will dismount my soapbox now. Thank you for reading this. It's been theraputic to write it.

If you are actively building the business: good luck, but build it armed with information about why you are getting so many "No's". It's only by understanding your opposition that you can overcome it. Unfortunately (or fortunately I suppose) I came to the conclusion it was not worth the price.
