The Trim Advantage

By QBlog in

While my wife was an active IBO in Quixtar our pantry was filled with Trim Advantage Protein Bars. My wife loved them and regularly ate them to boost her energy and supplement her diet. I thought they tasted awful but I guess it's one of those personal preference things.

Anyway, a site visitor directed me to QuixtarPage.Net which is a sort of advertisement for Trim Advantage bars. The page shares some facts about Trim Advantage and a few testimonials from IBOs, including one from Fred Harteis. It's your basic PR stuff explaining the greatness of the product and how well it works. Nothing all that interesting about the page until we read the testimonial of Kathy Coles, IBO.

"I ordered a pair of jeans, and when they came they were too tight. So my goal was to lose enough weight to fit into those jeans! I basically cut down on carbs and started using the Trim Advantage Protein Bars I'd have one for breakfast or lunch, or even for a snack. Then I would have meat and veggies for dinner. I didnt worry too much about fat; I used nuts for snacks, too. The Protein Bars really made it so much easier because when you're doing low carb, sometimes you really want something sweet or something to chew. The Protein Bars fill both needs..."

Kathy Coles, IBO
Weight loss: 1215 pounds in 3 months

1,215 pounds in three months! Yowzers. Those Trim Advantage bars are potent and Kathy Coles was F-A-T.

Ok, Ok. I realize that this is obviously a typo (God I hope it is) but it's funny nonetheless. And while we're pointing out this typo, let's think about it for a second shall we? What exactly was typed in wrong? Was the one accidentally added at the beginning of the number? If so, 215 pounds in three months is still pretty scary. Or was it the five at the end? 121 pounds is better but still means we're starting out with one hefty woman. Or maybe it was 12.15 pounds which doesn't really make sense but is less scary than the other options. Or maybe all parts of the number are wrong? Who knows.

Whatever the case, it's a funny mistake. Wonder how long till Quixtar fixes that.

I have never found an energy bar that doesn't taste awful. They all look and taste like dog poop (not that I would know what dog poop tastes like).

My vote is that she lost 115 and acidentally hit the '2' key at the same time as the '1'. And, it's probably a lie that she lost that much weight.

Maybe 12, otherwise what kind of lunatic would order jeans that were THAT MUCH too small, that she had to lose weight in triple digits to fit into them?

Maybe she lost between 12 and 15 pounds but she's not sure... nevertheless sounds like a pretty unhealthy way to lose weight, and she'll probably gain it back in no time at all.

Wow! You can make $1,000,000 + in only 3 to 5 years with the business plan AND lose 1000 + pounds with the products! Man, these guys will do ANYTHING to rope in the prospects! Next thing you know, they're gonna say the prize for going Q-12 is a hot night of passion with Halle Berry and the closest thing they can find to her bisexual twin sister!

Its been corrected on the site. She lost 15 lbs.

Wow. I guess Quixtar does read this blog. I received the email about the page on August 17, nearly 10 days from the date of this post and the impression I got was that the typo was discovered before that date and it was up long enough to get Google Cached.

15 pounds sounds much better than 1215 pounds.

Hi Everyone. I recently joined Quixtar as a new IBO and am proud to say that I went diamond in only two weeks.

Sorry, my bad. My last posting contained a typo. I meant to type in the word "quit" versus typing in "went diamond". I have one of those weird keyboards that enables these sort of strange things to happen.

Qblog, you gotta bet they are reading you....hell they are reading me and I just started a couple weeks ago. I installed new visitor counter and the logs show hits from alticor.com computers...don't know if they visited me before that but hey they viewed over half my site in one sitting. I wouldn't be surprised that they hit your site here at least 4 times a week.

Nah, how about this one. Halle Berry and Heather Locklear on either side of you, with Britney Spears standing right in front doing a strip tease and Naomi Campbell approaching from behind.

Dollars.....she lost $1,215 in 3 mos.
She typed 'weight loss' instead of 'financial loss'. What was she thinking?
I always had alot of typos after listening to tape of the week.

'nother thing about those protein bars -- they need to be eaten fairly soon after purchasing, or else they get too tough to eat. While cleaning out the last remants of our misguided IBOship, I pitched several boxes of the things, like plastic-wrapped bricks. They did taste better (when fresh) than other protein bars we bought at WalMart, but they're not worth the expense. There are other ways to effectively lose weight than scarfing down those expensive bars.

Well, it's fixed now (8/30); 15 pounds. Not sure when it was fixed.

What is the matter with all of you? You can lose weight with this, i did. It's all about what you think you can do. The business must not have worked out for you, oh probably because of your work ethic, where do all of you work- because you should be fired!!!
happy new year to all of you, i'm on my way to being free.

Hey,
I'm the Kathy Coles whose entry you thought was so funny. What I said was that I had lost 12-15 pounds in three months. Reasonable. 12 to 15 lbs. It's not exact because I wasn't keeping exact records. When it first appeared on the site it was correct. Probably when they upgraded the site the new program deleted the hyphen.
And the bars do taste great.
K. C.

The bars work in conjuction with a good monitored diet. You lose on average a kg a week. There's alot of uninformed stuff going around unfortunately.

I started the trim advantage plan last week and the filling protein bars and have already lost 6 pounds! My sugar cravings are next to nothing and I have energy!

I tried the new Chocolate and Lemon Protein Snack Bars after trying the Berry Smoothie flavored Protein Bar. I did not like the texture of the berry protein bar. The new bars are more delicious in both taste and texture; almost like eating a candy bar or traditional lemon bar.

all you negative guys must really love these blogs because it gives u a chance to keep people from trying to do something with their lives and accomplish their dreams. plus it gives u some group to be a part of, so you don't feel all lonely after you quit the business because u poked it with a stick for two weeks and it didn't budge. enjoy living a meaningless existence, if u even wanna call it living

I understand your need for a filter on some of the comments, I just hope you aren't being biased and keeping ibos from protecting their business with comments like the ones I just posted and letting negative people blog all their opinions.

Maybe it's just me but if a blog keeps someone from doing something with their lives they have bigger problems. Oh but of course I forgot IBOs like you think that Quixtar is the only thing you can do with your life.

Also Matt since you seem to know without a doubt how all the people who commented on this blog did in Quixtar perhaps you could tell us how you know all of us.

Yup, that's it Matt, we are all here to keep the IBO down man. It's what we live for man!!! LOL!!!

Talk about your conspiracy theories, IBOs never cease to amaze me with them.
