SkepDic Defines TOD
By QBlog in
Robert Todd Carroll, of the Skeptics Dictionary fame, has added Team of Destiny to his Amway/Quixtar definition page. Why does Orrin Woodward's TOD business get so much attention from the SkepDic? Maybe it has something to do with Paddling the Canoe? ;o)
Comments
I think it's becaue Orrin is the biggest proponent of "buy from yourself' and the most vocal about TOD being the business you join and USE Quixtar, not joining Quixtar's ranks of IBOs who are all users of Orrin's MO.
That and I think that TOD is growing so fast (due to stacking that don't make money) they are alienating people faster.
OK, somebody help me and direct me to the reference to 'Paddle the Canoe' before I drive myself nuts and have to go back on Nutrilite's Passionflower w/Chamomile....to calm my frazzled nerves....
BTW - has anyone seen the new add-on on Quixtar homepage (before sign-in) that says "the PROVEN Independent Business Ownership Plan"? Interesting...proven to do what, exactly?
You can find the reference to this hilarious experpt from one of Orrin's motivational speeches by clicking on the paddle the canoe link on this post. from there you will be directed to the 'quixtianity' post from last week (good discussions that day) and listen to the excerpt there. It's pretty funny.
Poor Roger, lost his job and has nothing to do all day except bash his wife's business. Too bad little fella. Aren't you late for a sewing club?
Wow, Roger. Apparently you have a sewing club. You didn't mention that before, although this 'employed' guy seems to know about it. You should have made that known earlier as it could have come in handy when the pro-quixtar types ask what you have to offer that's better.
You're right, Jason. I wish I'd of thought of that for lonely ol' roger.
But he ain't posting on here right now. I bet he's busy watching "Mr. Mom" over and over. I hear it's his favorite.
Wow, the TOD people are organized. Qblog, keep an eye on the IPs, cause just as "employed" uses a new fake hotmail address in every post just like the other people you've removed.... you may get an idea of the true TOD people watching you.
I know TOD reported my actions to my wife, cause she went to my forum blog http://www.whataboutquixtar.com and posted a rebuttal as an unregistered guest. But when I see the IP on the "guest msg" was from my cable modem it wasn't too hard to figure out she posted it.
So "employed" is someone in TOD or associated with them...my wife actually is the sewing person, doing embroidery and such for her team...and others. Yep, I am unemployed, got downsized out of Gateway when they closed all the "Country Stores". Get to spend the summer with my daughter, and unemployed I am still not desperate enought to fall for TOD B.S.
As for bashing my wife's business... I'd like to see it actually be a business, as I told her. But putting all the money into the BSM is not building a business, nor is recruiting more people to buy more. Getting customers is having a business....and she has a couple, not that they buy anything cause the $#!+ is too expensive, so guess they don't really count.
Attacking me directly without responding to anything of the discussion is just the norm for behavior of the so-called "enlightened ones" of this "great business"...don't your actions online under anonymity offend your strict Christian values??? Or is it okay cause God has approved of Quixtar?
Oh and one last thought, my being here for my daughter has allowed my wife to continue in support of the TOD... cause If I weren't here to take care of her daughter and help pay the bills, she wouldn't be able to go out and spend all that time with TOD. Guess she'll have to restructure it all when she gets rid of me for caring so much about her and not wanting to see her used up by Orrin and his like.
So, "employed" you have a job.... not doing too good in TOD then?
Stop by my site and lend some of your thoughts in response to what I've got to say...I expect more than just the regular attacks of "you loser" and "dream stealer" or else don't bother.
Take a cue from Spike Lee's famous statement:
"The NRA should be disbanded and Charlton Heston should be shot with a .44 Bulldog."
Feel free to apply this to TOD and Orrin Woodward.
*Disclaimer*
I would personally never advocate any harm to come to anyone associated with TOD or Mr. Woodward directly, but there are lots of wackos out there and I'm sure one of these days the TOD will recruit a mentally unstable individual who will go over the Christian Fundamentalist edge when God lets his business down. You know how TOD advocates "shooting the messenger", I hope none of their followers ever applies that logic to them.
One more thing "employed" what is your stake in this?? we all know mine by now, are you another Qrush who has "no affiliation" whatsoever to the Quixtar company or any of it's LOS? Just interested in "the truth" and have to throw yourself into the debate?
Or a LOS member who is desperately defending their stance? or maybe just a hired gun for Orrin and the others to bring up arguements in the debate without actually saying anything?
Well?
Roger:
i post for humor-sake. the more emotional people are in bash-boards such as this the more fun i can have. you should see what I've done to Wal-mart bashers.
As for the "uses a new fake hotmail address in every post" please observe that I used the same fake email each time.
Sloppy sloppy, Roger.
So sorry to have offended you in reference to your email address, it is of course just the latest one to go with your latest persona. Seeing as you haven't been posting as "employed" prior to your post to me...had you?
And as far as for humor-sake, I find that unlikely. The most emotional of the posters are usually the pro and not the con people....seeing as how they are worked up into an emotional fever to help "keep the dream alive" and they can then ignore the facts and details.
You will do as you have always done, from persona to persona, attack the people who don't agree with you and the various LOS (though I still think you are in TOD) using irrelevent personal attacks which ignore any (or all of) the points brought up for discussion or debate.
My being unemployed is irrelevent to the feelings I have about the TOD and Quixtar and what they are doing to my family. So to save you the trouble, I am also fat and bald, again both irrelevent to anything we discuss here, but I'm sure you want to get your attacks right. I'd hate for you to call me a "long-haired skinny hippie".
Roger:
Now you have offended me twice. I can't believe how arrogant you fat bald guys are calling enlightened individuals like myself "long-haired skinny hippies".
(Just because I threw my medal over the fence at the White House doesn't mean anything).
The real question for you, Roger, is do you wear plaid and watch Price is Right during the day?
Hey employed,
You're pretty sactimonious for someone who's gullible enough to pay over and over for useless motivational tools, and who likely will never achieve any kind of financial windfall through your sales and marketing plan.
You attempt to paint Roger as some type of loser, yet he's not the one being shystered by a bunch of tool pirates. Who's more foolish? At least Roger has not denied what's happening on his end.
Typical Ambot, not proving why he has the keys to the Kingdom with your little pyramid scheme, rather choosing to belittle the people that simply know it ain't so.
I'd get out of Amway before I started judging how other people live their lives.
Employed,
How did I insult you twice? Re-read my post, I never called you "long haired", "skinny", or a "hippie"... I stated that I just wanted to make sure that when you return to attack me with irrelevent personal attacks, that you at least get them right.
AAMOF, I re-read all my posts in this thread and I don't see any point where I attack you for being you?
And just to continue to show that the people who question Quixtar are the only ones to answer questions:
I don't own any plaid, and hate the "Price is Right" show.
Now, would you care to debate my original statements, and I quote myself:
"I think it's becaue Orrin is the biggest proponent of "buy from yourself' and the most vocal about TOD being the business you join and USE Quixtar, not joining Quixtar's ranks of IBOs who are all users of Orrin's MO.
That and I think that TOD is growing so fast (due to stacking that don't make money) they are alienating people faster."
Roger:
Well now, that's better. We both hate the "Price is Right."
Good night, then. I've got to get up early for work.
That's right there employed, just pretend you weren't asked to partake in a useage of product or stacking discussion.
I guess plaid and The Price Is Right are easier to focus on, rather than how the hell you're ever going to make any money doing Amway.
Your lack of a response speaks much louder than any reply you could provide, hard as that is for me to believe.
Paddle the Canoe, there, employed, Paddle the Canoe. Just don't waste a whole bunch of time on it, it isn't worth it.
You can thank me later for my sage advice :o)
Home run rocket, lack of response indeed speaks way louder.
A man with facts is never at the mercy of man with opinions.
I obviously have to much time on my hands but this came to me as I read Carrol's definition of ToD:
A limerick
An invite from Orrin to you:
To get rich, have fun, cure the flu?
Recruit those you know, we’ll make lots of dough
If you just keep on paddling the canoe!
