Monday Reader Mail
By QBlog in Reader Mail
Today is the first day of a new, recurring feature at Quixtar BLOG called Monday Reader Mail. You've probably already guessed how it works but I'll explain it for the slower folks (you know who you are).
Every Monday I'll post an email that was sent in by a site visitor and I'll include a few of my comments. Last names and email addresses (if provided) will be removed. There may be a few minor edits to clean up foul language but for the most part, each message will be posted as it was received, including misspellings and grammar errors. My comments will be in bold.
Today's offering:
Name: IBO
date: May 4, 2004message: Hey, this site is pretty funny. Ever notice how the guy is always the one who wasn't involved. Ya right, more like his wife is breast feeding him and trying to help him save his loser minimum wage ego.
Actually I moved to solid foods a couple of years ago.
This is so stupid because the Quixtar IBO that actually do something make all the information about their lives public and you use the fact that they arn't perfect as if you were just born last night. Who is perfect.
Look, the point is this lady and husband who probably changes tires down at the local jiffy lube don't put all their personal information out there to compare against the Quixtar Diamonds.
I mean come on you put everyday TV watchin and city league softball playin fools on here and give us their perspective as if they are a credible sources for financial independence.
The reason people were approached and agreed to see the opportunity to begin with is because others have created a positive and legal financial situation due to the effort they put into this business.
And then on the other hand you have people that hide behind the internet and say bad stuff about it, yet these negative people have a worse income statement the people they are creating this site for.
I mean forget the negative and make a site for what you do and then the people reading this can compare and decide who they want to take finacial advise from.
I'm sure they will get excited seeing a day in the life of this supposed couple fighting about not being able to pay the minimum payment on the master card.
Give me a break, this is stupid!
Huh?
Comments
*snickers*
It's funny because it's SO true. And I tipped you big yesterday, Q, so don't even deny it.
*pats his new Goodyears*
Methinks someone has had one too many Double X doses.
"......others have created a positive and legal financial situation............"
99% don't make diamond
A diamond quits because he feels it an unethical organization(A DIAMOND!)
Dateline exposes a recruiter making (typical) outrageous claims regarding income potential (He also has a warrant for his arrest in another state)
How do you know what QBlog makes in a year? I know what he DOESN'T pay in a year to be in Quixtar, so he's ahead of the game compared to IBO's based on what he DOESN'T lose in a year.
Typical IBO rhetoric, making (more) false claims and innuendos on people that they have no idea about.
I find these people to be more credible than someone who makes crass statements about people that they know nothing about.(Jiffy Lube comment)
I'd rather talk to a genuine minimum wage earner than a Crown Ambassador trying to sell me his snake oil "tools", which, by the way have absolutely ZERO value outside of the Quixtar/Alticor/Amway business.
Judging by the success ratio Quixtar provides, looks like tools have about the same value inside the Amway business.
Have fun with Amway buddy. I'm sure it'll be marvelous.
The rest of us will be over here playing softball when reality kicks in, and you're welcome to join us then.
We'll all be glad to see you when you grab a glove and get intothe game.
Huh?
If you go to the Negative Quixtar Forum and take the Poll on Post Quxtar success, you will see most posters make over 75K a year.
Why do you not respond to the statistics that people reaching diamond in Quixtar is .0017% and in real life .03% are in the million networth catagory (as of 1996)
Please resond to what Rich Devos(owner of Alticor) says about trying to stop the illegal tool and system pyramid. Listen to what he says and how every word contradicts what every diamond told me from stage.
Your a rookie in the biz I can tell that for sure. The only confidence you have comes from being on a team that are like- minded.
I bet we take you from that team and you will be a lonely Puppy with no friends.
How is that for stereo typing you racist facist pig?
Hey boys, (although I am a rookie I know enough about people to know its definitely boys on this site. They are trying to hone their argument skills for the next time they get into an argument with their wife’s about why its taken 3 year to pay off the big screen)
Most people don't get in for Diamond; they get in for a couple thousand a month. I know ex-dd can second that statement, or wait his is full of turd he isn't an ex-dd.
Stats: good consider those the next time you are running you kids all around town to play sports and build their dreams about being a pro. Can they make it, not if they have a lazy dad for an example that’s for sure.
Guarantee: If you don't own your own business, you have debt. A rookie wouldn't know that.
Bo Short: He started a different MLM; I don't think he's a great reference on the matter.
Tools: My sister made $7,000 last month as a Ruby. Hum, in my estimation she gets a $1 break on the CDs. So according you guys she sold 7,000 Cds? I mean you can only make money on the tools right guys?
Dang man 7,000 CDs sold on about 15hrs a week of effort. Even then I would want to know how to do that. Crap, Cher would want to know that for the next album she releases. Just kidding.
You can make a lot of money on the product flow. That’s all.
Ya, Diamonds make money on the tools. So big deal, when you go Diamond you share in the profits, your just getting credit for a group you brought in. I mean are you the CEO at you company after a couple years. No way. At least you decide if you are going to work it to Diamond, you can't decide if your company merges or goes bankrupt even if you do put in the effort and time to become CEO.
This couple is going to do Southern Living, come on. The only reason this is the better choice to this 'One Man's Poo' is because the wife will be doing it, and his little ego is off the hook. Besides you get points for buying from Betty Crocker on Quixtar. Heck maybe I am just a cooking fanatic involved in Quixtar defending Crocker. Why does that make you guys so mad?
Why aren’t you guys all mad at Betty friggin Crocker. I will tell you why because in Mary Kay or Avon the man's ego isn't on the line.
Quixtar is mostly put on the man's shoulders and the weight of responsibility is just too much to bear.
And so these type of men created these sites.
Wow, rookies can really hold their own in this thing
IBO Says:
"Ya, Diamonds make money on the tools. So big deal, when you go Diamond you share in the profits, your just getting credit for a group you brought in."
So you got a copy of that contract guaranteeing this "share in the profits?"
I would address the "rookie" by his name, but him being a "man" he did not leave it.
Your post shows your ingnorance, I have been in closed doors on the inner circle and know the game. You do not...
Have you read Bo Shorts site and story?
Did you know Rich Devos, founder of Amway
Rich Devos tried to stop the tool system.
Hey Rookie are you against letting your precious prospect learn about all the facts?
By the way I own a traditional business an am Debt free except for my house mortgage, and I have that for tax write offs.
I did not know you had to be in AMQUIX to be a man!!!
Wow how did our founding fathers rate? They were not in...
Nor were the men who fought WW1 and 2 and Korea etc..You insult our heritage with you prefabbed rhetoric..
Why dont you research Bo's site and Scott Larsens site before you try to give a post.
Why don't you read "the Millionaire next door" it talks about the profile of Millionaires
What I was referring to is that 95% of the people in here are of the male sex. Boys is a manner of speaking, but clearly you have some male issues you need to take up with yourself. Geez
Men, (I unintentionally brought up a short issue with ex-dd so let me rephrase the past 'boys' I used)
First off nobody puts their personal information on these things because they would be embarrassed to be associated with it. That would definitely include the founding fathers, that’s for sure. Or maybe your parents named you ex-dd? I don't know.
"Millionaire next door"
Well first off they refer to a millionaire as someone with a net worth of over a million dollars. Which just means scrimping, saving, and buying old things at a bargain your whole life. Nothing wrong with that but old stuff is old stuff.
Second most people don't get into Quixtar for a million dollars; they get in for a couple K a month. Most Platinum’s can teach them to do that.
Third the kind of person that would make the book wouldn't really be against Quixtar, they would just go out and do something else.
The reason Quixtar has negative about it is
1) A lot of people keep the company of lying friends that deceive them to look at the business under false situations. Not really the fault of Quixtar just the fault of lying friends.
2) Males are left holding most of the responsibility and their egos are on the line, something we men seem to have to battle against everyday (both ego and responsibility).
I mean run a google on Avon and Mary Kay and you can't find a negative site. And really how many people make anything it those deals? More power to them.
The point is the women runs it and the man is off the hook, therefore if they quit the man's ego is intact and the women just moves on.
That’s why the man that created this Blog is excited about his wife doing Southern Living. He is off the responsibility hook and his ego will be able to escape intact if they quit.
If I am out there and someone begins to talk about the cost of things or how they need to make more money I offer them the opportunity, if they say yes great if they say no then next.
If someone tells you they are looking for something to do part-time that is legal and works (my own family proves it works great) then there is no harm in offering.
Then I send them to www.ibofacts.com you can go to Answers to tough questions on that site.
Some Organizations allow you to profit in the tools business, if there is profit that year, or share in the losses when you go Diamond. Many of the bonuses begin to be paid out at Emerald in the LOS I am in. Some lines of sponsorship may not do it that way; some people may not contact people ethically, so take it up with them.
I don’t see how is could be Quixtar’s fault if LOS’s or IBO’s make decisions that are unethical.
Should we blame Enron’s failure on Quixtar? That is the same thing as blaming an independent person’s business behavior on Quixtar.
If DeVoss doesn’t like the tools then why to attack DeVoss’ business and not the direct people’s business you disagree with?
When the term "quixtar" is used here is generally is used to encompass the distributor network.
The reason that people attack Quixtar as well as the lines of sponsorship, is that quixtar formerly Amway knew that the "educational" system was..
1) an illegal pyramid as posted by an internal memo.
2) It would be the downfall of Amway, thus Rich tried to stop it.
3) They keep edifying the same pins that do it against their wishes.
4) They chose to ignore the problem because their sales dropped approximately 300,000,000 by trying to halt the process.
in essence they chose their revenue over the importance of not taking money from the distributors.
If you think the system makes you become diamond then you are wrong. There were more pins and greater profit when there was none.
The percentage of people that make it with the system is .0017% according to some phd in business who figured that out.
Yea I used to tell people that you could make an extra hundred or thousand dollars a month, because their sel-image usually could not handle more.
In fact the Platinum revenue dropped around 27% from last year, due to the re-shuffling of bonuses to benefit higher pins.
I have a Platinum/ruby/psdd/q-12 qualifier
whatever you want to call him, who qualifys every year at that level and still his wife drives a old saturn she has had for 6-9 years. I am talking he went direct in 95 and has been at that level that long.
His income is not that great due to all the meetings and functions etc.
I wish you luck, come back in a year and share with us your progress,
I gotta tell you a Ruby does 15,000 pv without a Platinum leg. You don't drive old saturns at this pin unless you are terrible with money.
I kept $1,000 the first month I qualified with Eagle parameters, 6 bonus checks per month. However Platinum in another organization made less because they had 1 leg. I am not platinum.
If you really knew anything you know that you can't get very far being Platinum.
That’s why in WWG they encourage double eagle, which means 12 legs qualifying for a bonus checks. The goal is 20 bonus checks in width. The goal is 20pv checks. What’s not 19?
You have already heard this but you choose to forget, no skin off my back.
I could show you 1,000 people per every one Platinum in Quixtar that do what you do and drive an old Saturn.
Again I ask you, why do you attack DeVoss' business if he too doesn't believe in the tools.
When you sell valuable information it should get a value for it. That’s the definition of business. Of course many people work for the government and are part of the union so they don't know that business is when you offer something of value for a premium.
Why isn't college free?
Most people don't get in for Diamond anyway. But WWG shares education profit with Emeralds and above.
I tell people that in a plan, just like 95% of all IBOs in WWG do.
".00000000000000000000071 Make it"
whats "IT"? You mean diamond don't you
most people don't start for diamond.
I don't have a PHD like everyone else on here (ya) so don't quote my stat.
Jeez ...
You picked a winner there Q!
