Dean Kosage raised on boats

By QBlog in

According to Quixtar, Dean Kosage is a new Founders Diamond from Washington (posted 3/31/2004 on the What's New Page). What's really odd is the audio clip they include from Kosage. It's this bizarre non-sequitur where he says:

Hello, my name is Dean Kosage and it's just great to be here. I uh... my parents owned charter boats growing up and I didn't live on land till high school. I lived on boats and wha... (cuts off)
So, I'm thinking, "Ok... dude grew up on boats and we care about this because???" I dunno, maybe the audio clip got cut off or something? Or maybe Quixtar IBOs just find that being raised on a boat is very inspirational to their business? Or maybe there's some secret hidden message that we will only discover if we play it backwards? I dunno.

» Audio of Dean Kosage, New Founders Diamond (this audio is directly from Quixtar's Web site).

» Someone sent me a copy of the audio in reverse. There's no hidden message that I can hear but check it out for yourself. You be the judge.

People in this business give their testimony including their background so that others may be able to relate to them. You won't relate to every person on every tape. But when you find a story (on Rally tapes) that you can relate with...it is worth it's weight in gold because it says to you..."this person has a similar background to me and they made it to diamond." Of course...the rags to riches stories are always the most inspirational.

Dean Kosage was someone that I could identify with early on. His old rally tape #RP626 was especially inspirational to me since he was young and single just as I was when i got started.

Telling your story in Quixtar is similar to when someone gives their Christian testimony. It gives others hope.

Hope that helps.

I think you missed my point. THAT was the entire audio message. It wasn't cut, edited or modified. The entire message just has absolutely no context and really makes no sense. I thought it was kind of funnny.

I mean, here's this page with all the new Founders Diamonds, all giving their testimony or introductions or whatever and then Dean Kosage's message just says that he was raised on a boat.

As I said, it was probably cut off by some error in the encoding process but it was still funny... at least to me. I hope Quixtar catches it and fixes it... assuming it was an error.

I fully understand about testimonies. I also understand bloopers. Just think of me as Dick Clark and Ed McMahon.

Oops...sorry 'bout that.

Dean is very popular. You just have to listen to his tapes to see why. He
speaks a language that many IBO's appreciate. He is especially popular with
IBO's age 18-35 or so. I think a lot of people can relate to his story.

One of the reasons you probably hear so much about him is because it is also
the younger generation that is using the web and visiting your site.

I can get you a copy of his audio CD if you'd like.

Thanks Qblog!

I happen to believe the boat information helps me understand Dean more as a person. By the way, I cut my hand on a kite string when I was 7.

Dean is a BIG TIME fraud. Everything he says is for him, I've knew him for 6-7 years before I FINALLY figured out that he could NOT be trusted and lied to us about everything...and he constantly hit on my wife. He says he has more money than he actually does too.

Dean is totally crazy. I have been to his house lots of times and ws sponsored into the business by someone he sponsored. I never met a person who exagerated things so much. He told me he owned his house but I later found out it was rented. He used tell everyone that he paid cash for his car but it was financed. He went into great detail for about 20 minutes about how he brought a brief case of cash to the dealership but it was all a lie. He has serious issues. He sure is charismatic but most of the people in his business are young impressionable kids like I was. I grew up and realized what a weird guy he is.
