Blogging Dateline NBC - 9:25 p.m. EDT

By QBlog in

Show's over. I realize I'm not a great "event blogger." Oh well. Hope this was good for someone. Dateline has a report and info about the show.

UPDATE: Holy crap! Dateline NBC has linked directly to Scott Larsen's AmQuix.info right next to the link to Quixtar.com. The link text reads, "Quixtar and more information." Wowzers. Getting linked from Dateline ain't too shabby.

Hey QBlog, you might want to try WOOD-TV's webpage again late tonight or tomorrow. They are going to have a live reaction from Quixtar officials tonight at 11PM. Know what, I'll just tape it and give you the highlights.

Thanks buddy.

Wow, bonus for Larsen, they must have really gone over the facts on his site.

Hey Waymee
Did you see Wood-TV's interveiw of Ken McDonald? I just love the way McDonald could NOT answer a direct question as to how much money an IBO loses to the SYSTEM or if IBO's are told WHO makes the money off of the TOOLs business
True, Quixtar is seperate from the Tools business yet they do NOTHING to enforce their RULES OF CONDUCT when IBO's break them.

Mark,

I did watch the interview with WOOD-TV. Ken McDonald was spinning every question as much as he could. I originally said I would give QBlog a summary of the interview but it was a busy weekend for me. I will try to do that tonight.

Ken kept reiterating that the average IBO makes $1400 per year, but unfortunately Suzanne and Tom did not ask the pertinent follow-up question "what is the average net profit after expenses?", or even "Is that derived from 'active' IBOs or all IBOs?". Then again, it is not in Grand Rapids' best interest to make Alticor squirm under the hot lights of a live interview. There are a quite a few buildings named "DeVos" and "Van Andel".
