Quixtar Ads
By QBlog in
Looks like Alticor and Quixtar are now advertising on Google. This is the first time I've seen such ads but they may have been around before and I just failed to notice them. I believe there's something significant about these ads but I'm really not sure what it is exactly. Anyway, you never know when such ads are available to view so I've made a screenshot of each one:

You may be surprised to learn that I don't think it's a waste of money. Google ads can be very powerful in ways beyond getting someone to click on the ad when searching Google. Also, since the ads are so cheap I would have to say it's smart for Alticor to do this, especially vs. other methods of advertising.
While I haven't used these links before, I have used the same type when doing websearches for anything I'm interested in (trucks, motorcycles...etc.) at the moment
Google Adwords are responsible for a very high percentage of my growth in MLM. I believe Quixtar's new campaign is a direct result of that success.
Actually, Quixtar just started these ads after they complained to Google about people using the term "Quixtar" or variants thereof in various ads, or as keywords for displaying ads. You notice that Quixtar is now the only ad that shows up. I was advertising my company, which does provide services for Quixtar IBOs, and my ad got yanked. Fortunately, Overture has more backbone than Google and refuses to yank ads that use the term "Quixtar".
Sergey Brin seems to be warping his "Don't Be Evil" mantra a little. I bet he's feeling pressure from potential investors to avoid pissing off anyone with any sort of "clout" on the eve of the Big Google IPO.
Maybe Sergey should ammend his mantra with "Don't be Spineless."
;o)
It's my opinion that very few people actually click on these types of ads. I have talked to others that believe the same. Is there any info out there to suggest otherwise? Alticor may be wasting their money. QBlog, what is your opinion???
