I know what you're doing

Somebody who "loves" Team Of Destiny is running around this site posting "pro-TOD" comments. That's fine, all comments are welcomed (within reason), but this particular "TOD lover" is using different names for each post. While I really don't care what name someone uses in their comments (if they use a name at all) I thought this particular incident deserved special attention for three reasons:
1. All seven comments were made within a span of about 90 minutes.
2. Each comment used a different name.
3. At least one comment was a "response" to his/her previous comment.
For now, I've decided not to prevent our "TOD loving" friend from commenting but instead I will post all seven comments here, for everyone to read. I normally don't post IP addresses but have included them here to demonstrate that each comment has the same author.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scott ends up in court on this one. If he had done that to one of my clients that is where I would see him. On a tape you can cut and splice and make anything look bad that is why in most states it is illegal to tape someone without their permission.

That was because I was extremely shy and wouldn't talk to people. I kept reading and changing until I developed the confidence to win. I am glad my close friends that did not get in the business kept encouraging me by being members and clients. They didn't tell me I had no chance. Heidi I think you need to apologize to your friends and encourage them in whatever they choose to pursue - just as I encourage you in your business. I am now making over 4,000 dollars a month and have received a return on all of my tapes and books I have bought. I wish you well Heidi and you should wish your friends well.
If Andy/Dan/Edward/Tony/Marlene/Bill/Joe would like to explain why such behavior was necessary I'm all ears. I'll remind you that I really do appreciate all (legitimate) comments. I don't make it a habit of discussing blog comments in this manner but I felt this particular situation warranted special attention.

QBlog, I believe Andy/…/Joe was simply proving a point. This site lacks honesty and integrity because of the anonymity of individuals posting comments. People are following your lead. You are going by the name QBlog but I doubt that’s the name your parents gave you. Who makes up the rules on the internet? I guess on your site you do.
Rule #1: It’s ok to use a fake identity.
Rule #2: You should be ashamed of yourself for using more than one fake identity. Don’t ask why. We are still thinking up a good reason.
Rule #3: It’s ok to say anything you want that is negative towards Quixtar because this is a negative Quixtar blog.
Rule #4: Most pro Quixtar posts will be quickly deleted in order to preserve the site’s negative integrity.
I really like visiting this site. It’s like reading text of an author with a split personality. Sometimes Eric Janssen is managing the site, sometimes it is Scott Larsen – both individuals, of course use the id QBlog. Hey, I just thought of another rule.
Rule #5: It’s ok for 2 individuals to share a fake identity.
Eric/Scott, you guys should fix the anonymity problem with this site. You know how. Why don’t you do it? Of course, up until now, it is obvious why you didn’t fix the problem. You didn’t care if negative Quixtar individuals were posting under several fake identities. Why isn’t that a problem? Hey, another rule.
Rule #6: It’s ok to use more than one fake identity as long as your posts are negative towards Quixtar.

The reason why people prefer to remain anonymous on an internet message board are several. First, there may be friends and family reading comments unbeknownst to the poster that may get upset and/or offended. Second, one never knows who is reading and if a person posted with his/her true name, who knows what a lurker is capable of.
Unforunately, it does lead to some credibility problems, but as QBlog shows, IP addresses are recorded everytime someone posts, and it is extremely easy for QBlog to tell when a post is entered from a single computer. More then one entrance with the exact same IP address within minutes of each other generally signifies one person posting under different names, or a person with a multiple personality disorder.
In the end, it comes down to trusting the web moderator. Fake ID certainly does not trust QBlog, but I think his intentions are benign. I believe QBlog is just trying to post his thoughts and allow for the free flow of information about Quixtar, and if he is deleting things, I'm not seeing it. I come to this site often enough that if there were mass deletions, I would have asked where did the information go? Fact is, I can't think of one instance of this.
Why trust either q-blog or dmm when neither of them is willing to give their real name like me?
Isn't it a credibility problem when 10 people from 10 separate computer post in under fake identities? This must be fixed to maintain any credibility of this site.

The nature of these forums are designed for people to speak with anonymity if they choose. There are many reasons they do so. I respect them. To assume that this site lacks credibility because of that is not accurate. In fact, one of the great issues of free speech, utilizing this venue, is to allow people to voice their opinions without fear of retribution. (As an aside, based on my experiences, there is a heavy price to pay if one speaks their mind openly in Q.)
Of course there is a risk that people comment “for effect” only and take advantage of this same anonymity for the wrong reasons. However, the good far outweighs the bad.
I decided early on to use my real name. That was my preference. I respect those that do not. QBlog, keep up the good work.

I have to agree with Julius on this one, even though we are sort of mortal enemies. I see Bo Short posts. How do we know this is Bo Short responding? I may not agree with his opinions or behavior but at least he deserves identity protection. Everyone does. But due to the ease and anonymity of posting on this blog, I could have gone onto this blog and signed in as Bo Short or taken the identity of anyone I choose.
Because of this, the quality and integrity of information on this blog is no better and no more reliable than the information on a gas station’s bathroom wall. It could be fixed but the monitors that control this site choose not to – bringing their integrity and intentions into question.

Please for the sake of good citizens everywhere make this sight legitimate. My hourly fee is not something you can afford I noticed you are already begging for money to keep your site up. Allow one identity per person and go fix your issue so you can survive. No one here will make fun of you most are suffering from the same trauma. I have never been an IBO, or have I ever been a part of any MLM. I have however seen first hand what MLM's like Q are capable of, and I have done a lot of research on the subject. I hate all MLM's equally, with exception to Amquix, I loathe them. Also, I am not a religious man, and if you are, you sure are not acting like it. A couple of comments, from someone with his own ad-hoc forum:
Regular posters develope a personality with their postings, anonymous or not. You get to know the regulars, their quirks, their points, and even look forward to their postings. And that goes for people who post in opposition to your beliefs -- there's this character named "Bankin' It" who I actually like (in a way) despite his pro-ToD stance.
How important are these "anonymous" handles? Simply put, I've had this one character trying to pose as "Non-believer" for the longest time. Now admittedly NB is a bit too focused on Passport for my tastes, but the fact that someone would feel the need to attack NB would imply there's more to these "anonymous postings" than meets the eye.
And quite simply, anonymity allows for people to post without the threat of immediate, direct revenge on them. Am-Quix people are actually kind and temperate; I know of groups who do everything to tear down, humiliate and otherwise ruin the lives of those who become their enemies (Scientology, anyone?).
Don I agree, and we mean no harm we just want a fair system of posting. I mean I have enough problem with the family and all to have to deal with this issue from q-blog. It seems that there is an unusual amount of celebrities and historical figures that write into this incredibly informative blog. You can get the facts here. It looks like over 80% of the people writing in have a problem with the integrity of this blog. Maybe if we improved the survey to include one vote per person it would help. I would never dream of allowing multiple votes or unidentified votes to count. What is wrong with the internet don't they understand this simple point or would they like a whole day's lesson for free from me, George Gallup the founder of the public opinion polls?

Have the cons figured out your dillemma yet? You can attack and destroy any reasoning of the pro's because you go into you monikors and fake id's until you baffle and wear them out. Now one person is doing the same to you. I don't really like quixtar I think their pricing is out of line. However if people wish to do a business they should not be harassed by overzealous critics with too much time on their hands. When I had some friends post negative under different id's all in a row - nothing was done. When I had it done for the pros a self righteous rebuke. I believe the cons owe an apology here. The psyche is a fragile thing and a rebuke that is uncalled for can cause a man to go over the edge. Pacify his ego so we can move on. This argument could go on and on or the cons can step up and admit their guilt. Stay tuned for the answer.
