"Great Energy Drink"

By QBlog in

Just a couple of quotes from the Beverage Industry Message Forums:

This drink is now allowed to be sold at bars/grills and health spots. It cannot be sold on shelves or cans but must be poured from the can into a glass or container of some sort. This drink is called XS enery drink and is brought to you by quixtar.
Yummy.

how come it cannot be sold on shelves or cans?

Well, so much for retailing then, right? I guess there is no intended (or even allowed) end customer other than the IBO's after all.

But this is something we all knew anyway...

Yeah! We all knew that! Stupid Quixtar. I'll bet this is why they don't have retail catalogs.

Yes, they do have retail catalogs. Even so, the fact that folks outside of the IMC model can't purchase the XS drinks in the can seems to be a more accurate barometer of Quixtar's attitude toward retailing.

Retail catalogs are great for Members and Clients...assuming that they can't or won't shop online. Seeing that they can't be used outside the IMC model, the catalogues seem redundant.

No, I'm agreeing with you, man! I mean, XS Energy drinks make up what? 99.999999% of Quixtar's products? So it's perfectly fair to judge the entire model on this one example.

I'm TOTALLY behind you on this, man. Totally.

If they are not cutting out the IBO in these sales this is a step in the right direction for Quixtar.

It wouldn't be fair to the IBO if this product was sold in retail store but health clubs and bars or other service establishments make sense.

We have had the ability to sell Passport products in non retail establishments since I started.

A lady came to my office trying to sell me this stuff for an event that my company puts on. Quixtar...dammit! I have a buddy wrapped into all of this stuff with TOD. I wish they would all BURN!!!

Me to. Anything where my friends are involved and I'm not...why, if I get a bad vibe about it, forget actually delving into it to find out whether or not it's good for them. No no no. I'd much rather just ask the opinion of strongly biased sources.

Makes me feel better.

And to hell with anyone with a different opinion then mine, no matter what information they use to formulate it! (Sarcasm alert)

You sure that was sarcasm? ;)

I wish you knew what you are talking about.

First WWDB 9 steps of CORE are not only designed for business growth they are also designed for personal growth. It's the most effective personal growth program I have ever seen. And I've studied virtualy every one that exists. Oh, It's also the least expensive.

Quixtar by the year 2010 will most likely be networked with every major corporation that's doing anything in the world.

It will also most likely be a 100 billion dollar company.

You do have the freedom of speech that's wonderful but what your posting makes you an unreliable source of information at the least.

By the way that special will most likely never air and if it does in a negative way. I can guarantee dateline will suffer more than Quixtar because of it. If you say something bad about a Quixtar you talk dirty about Disney, Officemax, Discovery, and just about 600 hundred more major corporations.

Oh yeah I got breath mints through my business about 4 or 5 hundred different kinds. You freely spoke and I smell that crap all the way over here.

I hope you see the light. And do your search. I can guarantee 8 years from now we could compare checks along with every other main area outside of finance and I will put the nails in the coffin every time.

Good Luck

I stumbled on to your site by accident.

I personaly think that the quixtar business and the way they view and conduct business is wonderful. I dont know how any person that looks at and understands it can say anything but positive things. As for date line I agree they will suffer alot more than quixtar for their lies and twists of truth. But majority of the people in this world would rather be herded along like cow's and dont want to learn the truth, because God forbid their actualy be a business in this country that represents freedom and integrety and how to get out of the rat race of life . And of coarse Quixtar wont work for everyone 95% of people in this country are broke 4% are welloff and 1% are wealthy. Dont you agree that 1% think a little different . Ide rather listen to someone them than someone in that 95% posting their views from their broke thinking mind that this scociety teaches us to have. Im sorry if this business didnt work for you maybee if you listened instead of speaking on things you obviously dont understand and put some effort into your business you wouldnt be the husband of a former IBO youd be the Ibo of a multi million dollar company and never have to work for another person for the rest of your life. Retirement has nothing to do with age it has to do with money and how hard your gunna work tword a goal and how hungry you are to succeed. If you failed dont blame the company thats backed by the better business bureau and the guy who started it who is the chairman of the chamber of commerce maybee you should be askin yourself what you did wrong instead of searching for flaws and waisting time posting negativity about a company so many have succeeded in. Sorry you cant see out of the box man maybee youll understand one day instead of believing scociety. then when you actually have something to say with some substance and knowledge your opinion will matter. till then nice site. (no offence)

There was a little boy he took a bird to school for show and tell a little girl asked him is that a boy or a girl bird he said I dont know lets vote on it. If a million people all stood up and said something stubid the truth is still the same its still STUPID!!!

I love xs. For me,Coffee in the morning has now been replaced by xs. Since I could drink coffee all day, and still be sleepy, there is something else in xs that gets me going in the morning, and past those afternoon lows. So what if I drink 2 a day? it beats being tired and it tastes yummy.

Ok... A Few words on The Corporation Company->JA-RI Corporation->Alticor->Amway->Quixtar

Bet you all didn't know they had quite so many name eh ? Well, there are more:http://www.cis.state.mi.us/bcs_corp/sr_corp.asp
look them up for you self :) If you look up JA-RI and look up it's assumed business names you'll see plenty.

I have been doing a bit of research on the company. You see, I am a new IBO and wanted to sell the XS energy product on the shelves of several retail establishment. I am told I cannot; however, not told why I cannot.

I have contacted Alticor and Quixtar by phone(which by the way are on the same switch board ;) ) and gotten the run-around (call this person, call that person, etc)
Yet, in all my calling all I recieved were rude individuals highly displeased with my delvings into these matters.

I requested information on XS, who are they? where do they operate out of? What is their phone number? Alticors, INC.s response..."We do not have that information..."

hmm... odd... you have a contract with them ... yet... you don't know who or where they are or how to contact them?

It is my personal belief that a company that does not have a phone number that you can reach a real live human on the other end is not a company. Sorry for those who do not feel the same way :)

Any how, I had good hopes for my Independant Business powered by Quixtar;however, the prices of all of our products are astronomical! How can we be expected to be good salesman if in good faith we cannot suggest our products to our consumers because they cost so much?

Oh, then there comes the Anti-Compete clause of the business contract (which you do not see when signing the contract... rather it is in the business rules) Specifying that you cannot sell anything that would compete with Quixtar... Also, if you have a retail business it must be run sperate of your Quixtar business.

Then, should you feel Quixtar is in need of a good sueing...OOPS... here comes the Mandatory Arbitration clause! woot :) Read up on it very interesting reading... (http://mlmlaw.blogspot.com/2004/11/neutral.html) that'll get you started :)

What I am saying is this... this business could work well, if it were truly there for the customers and to make us IBOs succeed; however, it is there only for Alticor and those find individuals who sit on the board of WWDB/WWG.... how is it you sell a tape/cd or a meeting(which was happening any way?) (the media only costing pennies a cd/tape) for 7.50 to 15 dollars a CD? or charge IBOs for all these support materials? (yet stipulate that they are voluntary) And why are they preached so much ? Albiet, I enjoy listening to the set of True North(c)(r)(tm) Quixtar tapes. I still believe that there is an underlying very large business model which benefits greatly from those of us who buy the materials... Then you may say... well yes... this is America.. Free Enterprise and all that... tell me again then why we cannot distribute to retail stores ? Because some IBOs won't get up off their buttocks and talk to a retail store ? Who on this earth does not have access within a 30min to 1hr drive TOPS to a retail store ?
No, it is simply a matter of IBOs being lazy. I am willing to negotiate profit sharing with any retail establishment out there. But wait... retail establishments do not want our product because it costs so much. Red Bull / can cost most retailers $1.30 / can most retailers want to make at least 30% profit....

So, ok 30% or $1.30 is $0.39... so that is $1.69 right ? oops no Red bull sells for $1.99/can that is closer to 53% markup.

Ok now look at our product, $1.70/Can
30% = $0.51 so $2.21/can!!!! a 16 oz can of NoFear by SoBe cost $2.19 MAX(in Oregon)
Who is going to buy a 8.4oz can over a 16oz can ? Well, it might be possible if you sold the cans for a profit of 15% = $0.255 so $1.95 you just undersold Red Bull while making a profit. But still not the amount of profit retail establishments are willing to cope with. Then you have the market saturation with the myriad energy drinks out there.

The point that I am making on top of my other points :P is that this business was/is not intended to make you financially independant, but, rather, to make you buy your own products. Where this business works is when you get lots of people under you by the lure of owning your own retail sales business, then you get them to try and sell while reaping the benefits of their labor, then when they learn the truth, one of two things happens, they too are willing to scam people and perpetuate the cycle, or quite.

I my self want my company to support itself at $1 000.00 per month based soley off of client sales. But, until something is done about our prices (i.e. $0.88/can Bumble Bee Tuna fish,$7.00 / 7oz Bottle of Shampoo, $5.00 / tube of Glister(c)(tm) Tooth Paste, you get the point). People simply cannot afford to purchase these products unless they are already wealthy... hmm go figure most of the big people in the business started out big ? Doctors, Dentists, Sports Therapists.. With the occasional exception like Brady Hays(I think I misspelled that), and Samere Atalla (I think I misspelled that too). But, these individuals also owned several business, often many businesses before comming to this business.

Also, if you listen to "How to contact an invite, by Bill Hawkins" you will hear the introducer say,"...A financially independant man through the World Wide Group"

All just food for though.
