The document linked here is a few years old and it allegedly came from the Britt Worldwide organization. The most interesting part of the document is the fine print at the bottom of the page. You'll have to click the link to read the small text.
This info can also be found at AmQuix.info.

One more thing that ad is old the average is actually $115 after all expenses are paid.
"One more thing that ad is old the average is actually $115 after all expenses are paid."
WHOA HORSE! That $115 figure is GROSS. BEFORE EXPENSES. The average on system IBO spends $150-300/month in system costs.
So what that $115 figure really is saying is: "Hi, I lose $100 a month in Quixtar, want me to show you how?"
Not only is the $115 gross, remember, 80% of all Quixtar purchases come from IBO's and only 20% from outside the pyramid. And at best, Quixtar's commission rate is 34%. That means for one IBO to get a $115 check, he needs to sell at least $338.24 worth of product (115/.34). And that is if an IBO get's a straight 34% commission, which of course is fantasy. In addition, out of that $338.24 spent, $270.59 will be from out of IBO pockets (338.24 * .8). So, if an IBO makes half of his PV/BV from his own purchases, the rest from his downline and customers, our IBO is now spending $135.29, getting a check for $115, and then spending an additional $150 - $300 in tools! What a business!
"system" costs is a bit vague. Why don't you specify what a system cost actually is, mlmblog? Because I know what it is and you know what it is and you know that I know what it is, so we both know what it is and we also both know that it technically has nothing to do with Quixtar.
Dwighty,
I had no idea you were making $115 a month!
Where can I sign up? This sounds great! I can retire now.
Examples of "System Costs"
Attending weekly functions: $4 per person per week
Attending quarterly weekend functions: $300-500 per person per quarter
Standing Order Tapes: $6-7 per week
I'm sure there's other costs that I haven't mentioned...

The comment at the bottom of the ad is required law. Now if YOU read it and know what an active IBO is you will see why the number average. When one of the IBOs that was surveyed(not all were just a percentage) If they had even asked someone to buy even one small Item and even if they were declined it was concidered an attempted sale. So lots will make more some will make less this is not get rich quick operation it takes work which is why lots don't make it they expect to sit in front of the computer and have 100 dollar bills pop out of the CD player.
