Dateline NBC story is "Must See TV"
By QBlog in
I recently received some interesting information about the upcoming Dateline NBC story on Quixtar. I'm withholding the details for now but I'll vaguely say that I've been quite dubious about the impact the show will have on Quixtar or the IBO leadership, until now. I'll share more soon.

Please let me know the date of the Dateline special coming up on Quixtar.
could you let me know when the Dateline special is coming up on Quixtar. I know somebody that would like me to join this company!!! but i would like to know more about these guyz. thanx
I was just recently approached my two different people about the Quixtar "opportunity" and they both wouldn't let up. I have heard a person say it was like a cult and after seeing the story on Dateline I believed it. I was only told that we would be making lots of money doing this and that in the future my husband and I could quit our jobs.
When we told one of the people that we were not interested they proceeded to tell us that "they did not want to see us working 40 years down the road". They had also introduced my husband and I to a man who was supposedly making a 6 figure income and told us that we "had met THE MAN" when we told them we were not interested.
What reputable company hassles potential clients so much? From what I have heard first hand about this company makes me very uncomfortable. I hope that other people don't get sucked into this rediculous company!!
Sorry Quixtar Reps or whatever you call yourselves
Things that make you go hmmmmm.... Here's what's funny about all you who think "research" consists of typing in a few key words on the internet: How hard is it to set up a website and say whatever you want? Michelle, I hate to pop your bubble about how well meaning NBC is, but the Dateline "story" tonight is hilarious evidence of how the media slants things to the negative, tells only one side of the story and "edits" the opposing view. Nice choice of imagery... Think there was any reason why they chose the candle shot and kept coming back to it? Think Stone Philips has your best interests at heart? Cares about your future? Of course, I go to Mr. Philips any time I make a major decision. Understand something, "the news" is in the business of selling the news. Here's another one to ponder, NBC is trying develop its own word of mouth shopping network that utilizes local distribution centers. Oo, things don't sound so unbiased anymore do they? For all you who finger point about people selling motivational tools, Did you ever stop to think about how much training or mentorship costs for any profession? Much more than you would spend on materials in Quixtar. Here's another point that NBC spent 5 seconds on, before anyone signs up in Quixtar, they sign a Business Support Materials Agreement that states a person is not obligated to buy any support materials to be a part of Quixtar. So guess what? Last time I checked, this was a free country where people could do what they chose and not buy the materials. Those of you who think you've done your "due diligence" wake up and listen, I hear the sound of sheep bleating.
Is this a joke????
The NBC "story" about one of the largest e-commerce sites in the world, whose business affiliations include a long list of the largest companies in the world.........and whose paid out over a Billion dollars in bonuses to IBO's in the last four years (facts that were neatly ommited in their reporting), was narrated by some snidley fellow whose tone of voice mocked people who have a dream and a desire (and a means) to create an income which provides more security and lifestyle and independence for their own families!!!
Dateline NBC, has no idea what they are taking about. I couldnt believe it when i heared about them Reaming on QUixtar. THey are just to stupid to see whats good in it, and to broke to want to do something about it.
I just watched Secrets and Lies and I had listened to Radio four or five years ago about samething that happened in Pendalton Oregon. Im wondering if the same people that did the cohersing of these children, were same people that cohersed the children in Oregon? And are they working someplace else now? I want to thank you for these reports, please continue the fine job.
I have recently had a very bad experience with Quixtar. Not myself
actually, but my boyfriend. After hearing many different Quixtar
stories from people I have decided to create a petition. The
petition asks for Quixtar to be re investigated, and hopefully shut
down. It will be sent to the Federal Trade Commission as well as the
Better Business Bureau. If you would like to sign it here is the
website. Thank you!

You quixtar bashers are dumb. It's a great businees. Just like any business, it takes time to get going. So dont get mad just because its not easy for you . All hte books and seminars are optional so if you want you can do your own thing with it.
hey guys, anything can be written good or bad about anything or anyone. get your facts before you judge only knowing part of the story. I have been involved in the quixtar business for 5 years now and the one thing you cannot argue is the fact that I have been given my due profit check every single month since the day that I got involved with this incredible company. Not one time have I had to second guess the fact that I have been paid exactlly what I should have been according to the profit chart that teaches you how the money is paid. yep, there are those of you who feel negative about this whole thing and those of you who feel positive but the only thing that really matters to all of us who would like a chance is that they pay the people for their work and Im living proof of that. No, im not the guy who you like to claim likes to toot his horn and talk about his 6 figure income due to this business. there is absolutely no reason at all for me to fabricate any stories at my ibo leval. this is a wonderful company and if you are someone who has heard a one sided argument make sure you hear the other side to and then if you want to be negative that is your choice. it will never take away from what i see in this business. hey, for some people they are negative about every single thing in life unless it happens to be directly related to them and then it seems to be the most important thing in the world. get over yourself and be happy for people
Donna,
99% of MLM contractors don't make money. How is that good for families? You are falling for the greatest scam in human history. Holding religion and motivational materials over the heads of the weak will promise a special place in hell for the perpetrators. I feel sorry for you and the other 99% in your pyramid of a company. Shame.

I am a father to a young man who has been part of this business for 5 years and has only debits showing in his invoice that he receives from BWW?QUIXTAR.
More disturbing is the fact this business has taken him away from his parents. My son has become violent several times over any kind of discussion about this - he threatens us to cut off ties with us.
It has been extremely painful to watch him drift away from us despite our spending our lifetime of savings on him.His behaviour is rude to us - to say the least.
Our life has no meaning because he is our only son. Thanks to this evil business, we have lost our son and our hopes of living a happy life.
His uplines - including females, tell us that our son is an adult and he can do whatever he wants to do in America.
I pray to God that they also suffer the pain of separation from their children, the way they are maing us suffer.
My wife and I lament the day we sent our only son to America.

I am curious what you mean by "dubious" ... dubious that it would have an adverse affect on Amway/Quixtar's already negative image, or dubious that it would not be enough to change anything at all?
(I'm also amused that you used that word to describe your stance ... 'dubious' was my nick on a Quixtar message board, hehe)
