webraw.com is dedicated to preserving, promoting and expanding the free-Web.

Preservation/ webraw independently contributes to preservation efforts by freely providing information, resources, skills and insight to anyone. By contributing to the Web community in this small but important way the innovative and expanding culture that has evolved on the Web will be preserved.

Promotion/ Awareness is key to the free-Web. Ignorance has been the root of many great tragedies throughout history. The free-Web is in danger of being restricted such that it will no longer resemble its original form. The masses do not know of laws, regulations and policies that are currently working to destroy the free-Web. One purpose of webraw is to educate the masses and explain what the free-Web is, why it is important and how to mobilize to ensure it’s existence.

Expansion/ Communities dedicated to the free-Web concept will generate expansion of the free-Web and potentially create an even free-er Web. When nonsense restrictions are ultimately abandoned for a free-Web, an expansion may be experienced that will rival the initial expansion of the Web itself. Imagine the exponential growth seen from 1995-2000 expanded ten-fold. This is the expansion envisioned at webraw.

Conclusion/ These lofty goals seem a bit...well...lofty for such a humble site. However, by doing our part we can join together and create a better Web. Making a Web just like your momma used to make.
